Fantastic experience: Always a great experience from the front desk to the Doc’s office, through check out. The front desk including Priscilla, Julie, Kelsey and many others always welcome me with a smile, treat me with respect and seem to genuinely care. The treatments I receive from Dr. Brow allows me to visit every other week as opposed two multiple times or weekly when I began treatment. Highly recommend the Team and practice.

Fantastic experience: I started having struggles with my gut health in 2013, and I went to my gastroenterologist numerous times since my issues started, but I felt unheard - many visits fighting for tests to be run or new solutions to be tried. Fantastic experience: I first met Dr. Turnpaugh 10 years ago. He was certainly an answer to my prayers! He put all the pieces of the puzzle together, as I had been searching for answers to my health problems for most of my life. I started improving within days, following my first appointment, and steadily improved for the next year. He recommended a book to help me fully understand and reverse my symptoms, he taught me what to eat, suggested I test for food allergies, he gave me some very high quality supplements that helped heal my gut and calm and balance my immune system. Instead of just giving me meds and hurrying to see the next patient, he cared and listened to my story which was very healing! He found the root cause of my symptoms and my blood work started steadily improving which was amazing and exciting to watch! Dr. Turnpaugh is professional, personable, extremely knowledgeable, so kind, a great teacher, and genuinely cares about his patients. My husband and I moved across the country last year. The past 2 years have been very stressful and I wasn't feeling like myself for the past month or two. I had an appointment via telamed/phone with Dr. Turnpaugh yesterday and with my recent lab work he discovered why my energy level was crashing. He quickly came up with a plan and told me exactly what to do and within a few hours I started feeling better again. Today I feel better than I have in months and I'm on the mend again!!! Negative experience: If you're looking for a place that simply does lab work and then sells you as many supplements as possible based on your lab results that only care about taking your money with zero human compassion for their patients then go to Turnpaugh health. As Ive come to find out, there are many other options in functional and integrative health care in the area with practitioners who have real medical backgrounds (Not just chiropractic) that will truly try to get to the root cause of your symptoms that do real physical exams, labs, and can order testing outside of just blood work. In my experience Turnpaugh health is a supplement sales business and nothing more. I spent thousands of dollars and continue to be at square one with my symptoms. Some people require a little more than blood work and a 17 supplement stack (most unnecessary) to heal from their symptoms.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Amy Montgomery!!! She is amazing!! My life was upside down and almost gave up with all of the medical issues, diagnosed with anemia, having a goiter, restless leg syndrome, swelling, gastrointestinal issue's, and my WBC count was elevated. I was sent from one specialist to another that just wanted to fix the symptoms. Amy listened to me intently, she made sure to get blood work on anything that could possibly cause these things. She found the root of my issues which were a couple but, mostly allergies that were causing most of the issues. I am almost all symptom free and am so grateful for Amy and her patience. The staff is so friendly! I highly recommend Amy and Turnpaugh health and wellness!!

Fantastic experience: Amy was amazing. Within a few days after treatment my daughter was able to walk up the steps again almost normally. Three pages of blood work came back and Amy went over the results patiently with us addressing each issue. How, why and what to expect in recovery. Prevention and nutrition also. Fantastic experience: I really appreciate Turnpaugh. I see Dr. Gill and he is so helpful and informative. I have Chronic Kidney Disease where I was experiencing set backs and reversals. I had zero energy and was overwhelmed by my diagnosis. I've never felt so comfortable or seen than I did at Turnpaugh. Since seeing them last summer my kidney function has improved by 17% and made the difference in my ability to live normally and fully. I feel so much stronger and less fragile now. Every appointment, my blood work and tests are thoroughly explained to me and I leave feeling like we actually accomplished something.

He has changed our family's life as we live with diagnosis such as thyroid disorder, gastroparesis, ADHD and anemia. If you are here and curious if the staff can help you, they can! Fantastic experience: Dr. John Brow has helped me with my gut issues and now my stomach and body feels the best it has ever felt even before the food poisoning. Fantastic experience: It may be a journey, but it's a journey worth taking. I had been suffering for 5 years with an assortment of autoimmune disorders including Rheumatoid arthritis. I was in a lot of pain and after 2 months I am happy to say I no longer suffer from the arthritis pain! Many of my other symptoms have also subsided. I lost over 25 lbs in about 3 months and many of my symptoms I was complaining about disappeared during the time I was following his recommendations. Negative experience: Good docs bad company. If your having trouble getting help. This company might be a waste of time. My doctor wanted to prescribe certain meds. But your doctor isn't the one who prescribes them. It's a telephone 3rd party prescriber. No parasite meds with visible bugs crawling on my ribs... Come on. Was going to sue to get my money back. They rushed out letters laughably saying I threatened staff. So this company is corrupt. Good docs. Bad company.

Fantastic experience: After years of suffering from "idiopathic" myelitis that attacked my spinal cord and debilitating nerve pain and anxiety, I sought out the knowledge of Dr. Erin Gattuso. I am so glad my gut urged me to find more answers. After spending over an hour meeting with Dr. Gattuso and providing her with a full history of myself - she didn't waste any time trying to help. Within a month, I was back in Dr. Gattuso's office with my lab results. Even though my previous Doctor had tested for Lymes disease (which came back negative) Dr. Gattuso looked further and tested again. Lo and behold - two forms of Lymes came back positive. I had finally had an answer to my idiopathic myelitis. I left that day with a clear plan, supplements to help combat other issues (which work!), and optimism I haven't felt in many years. Following her protocols and supplements, my anxiety lessened, candida died off, and we successfully eradicated one of my lyme co-infections! My health journey is far from over, but I am beyond grateful for what Dr. Gattuso has done for me thus far. If you suffer from neurological issues - I urge you to get in touch with Dr. Gattuso. Fantastic experience: I suffered from debilitating pain for a number years and went from specialist to specialist. I had been to multiple orthopedic doctors, rheumatologists, neurosurgeons, pain specialists, etc. I had nearly twenty injections in my lower back and spine and even went through a nerve ablation procedure, but every time the result was the same - no pain relief. Finally, after completely exhausting all other medical options, I came across Turnpaugh Health. I was hesitant because they didn't take insurance, but I figured I had tried everything else, so why not. Well, in the first visit, Dr. Shannon Smith ordered blood tests that I had never had done before and was able to figure out issues I was having with certain foods. Dr. Smith had me cut those foods out of my diet and started me on some supplements and within 6 weeks I started feeling better. By three months most of my pain and inflammation had subsided and by six months I had started working out again for the first time in almost three years. The information he was able to uncover compared to my regular doctor was astonishing. Even my regular doctor was so happy with the results I have accomplished so far under Dr. Shannon's care. My regular doctor said she would have never been able to uncover what Dr. Shannon did. The plan I was put on was not hard at all to follow and the results are amazing. This practice listens to what you have to say and will help you dig deep on what could be causing your health issues. You never feel like you are wasting their time because you are not just a number to them. I am still on my journey but I can tell you my health has never been better and I can't wait to go back to my regular doctor for my annual physical for her to see the results of what I have accomplished. She is going to be blown away. I have even started taking my teenager to Dr. Shannon and he is loving it. I am gifting my college kid a couple of visit when he graduates in May so he can start his health journey off on the right foot. Fantastic experience: Dr. Ross has been amazing to work with, to help figure out why my son had terrible eczema. I new his eczema was more than a skin issue but tried for months to figure out what was causing it, and to only have his pediatrician say it would eventually go away. I was Referred to Dr. Ross by a friend. The three hour drive to my son's intial in person appointment was worth every penny! Just one week after applying what was recommended we started to see improvements and with in a few months my son's body was completely clear of eczema (still has occasional flare ups when introducing new foods)! Dr. Ross provides a plan that is obtainable even for young patients (my son is less than a year old). Dr. Ross is patient, can communicate in layman terms so he his easy to understand, he handles a range of ages well(communicated well with me and handled my son well) and he provides options that I wasn't being provided at other offices, when it comes to care and tests for my son. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Rosss and Turnpaugh Health and Wellness!!

Fantastic experience: As a patient of Dr Regina Smith @ turnpaugh health and wellness since 2014, I was at a very very low place in my life, something was seriously wrong with me and my body and I went to many of the largest medical providers including three of the most prestigious facilities on the east coast and many other local specialists and doctors of all kinds. Not a single one wanted to listen to me because of my situation. They didn't want to get involved because of what caused my life altering mysterious illnesses and symptoms. Out of despair and on my last hope I wrote a very long detailed letter to Dr Smith, her assistant called and said the recieved my letter but were not taking new patients. I was back to square one, giving up completely on the medical establishment. First thing next morning my phone rings, Its Dr Smith, and she said I need to see you in my office as soon as possible. My appointment was after hours at 530 pm, she listened to my wife and I, asked questions and gave us her thoughts and a plan, we walked out of there at 945 pm. I felt as though a new person walked out of her office, she gave me hope, and an experience with a Dr that I never knew was possible, not one thing has changed in the level of outstanding care and treatment that I have had at turnpaugh over the past 8 years. Fantastic experience: I started with Dr. Brow in Aug of 2021, I have suffered for 10 years with the diagnosis of Eosinophilic esophagitis (EOE) all traditional Drs did was treat my symptoms. After years of Rx medicine daily and symptoms only getting worse I sought out functional medicine. Turnpaugh Health has changed my life, after blood work and several visits Dr Brow had me to a place I never thought I would see again. I no longer had esophagus pain and burning. He has guided me in my eating and supplements to a place now I take 1 allergy pill a day I am no longer on any Rx drugs. I also have a condition called CRPS in my left hand from a surgery I had in 2018, thru my treatment of my EOE my CRPS symptoms have also improved I have not needed a ganglion nerve block since I have changed my eating and taking natural supplements. I still have CRPS symptoms but nothing to the degree to which I used to. I am less than 1 year into my treatment plan and I can tell you it has been worth every cent, I recommend them to everyone I talk to. Everyone I have come across from the staff in the front office to the Dr is always friendly and professional.

Fantastic experience: How much do I love this place?! There is so much I could say. First, I want to say that if you are suffering from any ailment, especially those hard to diagnose, come here! Not only is every staff member kind, compassionate, upbeat and professional, all of the nurses and practitioners are highly accredited, intelligent and competent. A healing presence is felt within those walls (no exaggeration). After nearly 3 decades of health struggles, they are peeling the many complicated layers away and I'm gaining my health little by little. The team approach is what this place strives to be- and every team member is willing to pitch in wherever needed- whether or not they are directly tied to the patient. I love everyone here, but a special shout out to all of the warm and cheerful front desk staff, especially Linden and Alanna (who gives a lovely foot massage ;-) ), Dr. Shannon, Amy, Karrie, Abby, Dara, Patty, Suzanne, and of course, Dr. Turnpaugh (who gave his expert advice several times, even though he isn't directly working with me). Desiree and Morgan in billing are super prompt and helpful. And an extra-special thanks to Tara who deserves the most recognition of all. She is a shining light, treating everyone with wonderful skill and sensitivity, going above and beyond to ensure each patient is healing - mind, body and soul. Love you all and thank you!

Fantastic experience: When I came to Dr. Brow in May of 2021, I had been battling Lyme disease for a year. I had significant back issues since Lyme had attacked an area of my back where I had an injury years ago. I literally couldn't sit down for long in Dr. Brow's office because of the pain. I was in rough shape. Dr. Brow ran blood work and we found areas where I needed to tweak my diet a little as well as use supplements to improve my imbalances. He also encouraged me to start going to a pool to take the pressure off my back. I started going and eventually by mid-Summer, I started aqua jogging in the pool. Slowly, I started to gain strength. In September, I started working out with weights in the gym before going to the pool to run. Since September, I have had the best health in over a year! I went from hardly being able to sit in Dr. Brow's office to being able to work out with weights! I've always been an athlete and when I was not able to work out because of the pain I was in, it was really rough mentally and emotionally. Thank you to Dr. Brow and the team (Including Patty with LDA treatment) for helping me make huge strides in overcoming this horrible disease! I not only thank you, but so does my family. I'm married with four children...and when you can't even hold your own kids...that weighs heavily on you. But now...I not only pick them up, but also can wrestle around the living room with them and be present like I want. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Regina's guidance and knowledge was truly life changing for me. In just under a year, most of my issues have been solved, and I am doing better than I have been in year. I am extremely grateful for the professionalism, care, and knowledge that Turnpaugh Health and Wellness Center gave to me and will definitely be recommending them to those seeking real answers and care for both their physical and mental needs.

Negative experience: Almost $800 just to get a "package deal" to speak with a dr and a nutritionist a few times. My insurance would cover costs of most stuff but they won't bill them apparently. Really sad as someone who is suffering from complex medical issues and can't afford almost 1k to just get help. We pay 170 a week for great insurance for a reason. Places like this make me mad because they could bill insurances like mine if they put in the effort to do so.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shannon Smith is amazing. He’s caring and always making sure you feel comfortable and making you feel better! Nurse Practitioner Amy I love. I went to see her for multiple problems I was having and not once did I feel stupid for asking weird questions and she made me feel very comfortable and that I’m not the only one out there who has these issues. She also made me feel like a person and not just another patient which I have experienced in the past with WellSpan. I feel very blessed to have found these two!

Fantastic experience: Earlier this year I got diagnosed with MS. Definitely wasn't good.I was experiencing double-vision, vertigo, numbness throughout the body... just to name a few. I got recommended to Dr Turnpaugh through some good friends (who had experienced a lot of success with him as well). Im so thankful and blessed. After several months of following Dr. Turnpaugh's plan, I now have next to no symptoms. My journey is far from over but I am so thankful for the path that I am on and for all the guidance and care from Dr. Turnpaugh and team.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Ross for over a year now and could not be happier. His approach to finding the root cause rather than treating with medications alone is refreshing to say the least. He is also my chiropractor which is a new venture for me. Negative experience: Called to set up an appointment and it was going to cost almost $1,000 . I have a special needs child and they stated you see a bunch of different individuals the first appointment one being a psychologist . My child , along with myself, does not need to see the psychologist. They stated even if we didn’t see all the doctors the price would remain the same. Sounds like they are all about the money rather than helping.

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about Turnpaugh Health and Wellness. All the doctors and staff are so warm and welcoming. They go the extra mile to make sure you feel comfortable, and they explain your care and treatment in a way that you can truly understand. My only regret is that I didn't find them sooner.

Fantastic experience: Great place with great people. Helped me recover from severe ulcerative colitis. I was super weak weighing only 108 pounds and through the proper diet, medicine, and supplements I feel as if I am back to normal at 150 pounds and with the energy that I used to have before getting sick. Highly recommended this place!

Negative experience: UPDATE: STAY AWAY FROM HERE. Years out from last seeing Dr. Smith I now know that his diagnoses were completely wrong. I have lab results that prove this. I don’t know if he lied or was incompetent but I wouldn’t recommend Turnpaugh to anyone. The more I heal the more I learn about how going to Turnpaugh hurt me. I am still terrified to eat a lot of foods. I am still sick because things weren’t caught sooner. I saw Dr. Shannon Smith for several months following conventional treatment for Lyme disease and years of poor health. He was helpful, to a point. Following his assistance, I was able to resume a more normal pattern of life. However, I did not feel we were actually getting to the root cause of my illness and that things were being glossed over. All the while, I was paying rather a lot of money. Symptoms—very disruptive symptoms—persisted. After I was briefly ghosted by Dr. Smith during a health episode, then prescribed a “natural” sedative without being spoken to (and which I didn’t order), I ended up in the ER. I’m now working with a new, conventional, but less allopathically minded practitioner, along with doing hours of my own research for my health. If you have an eating disorder or a history of disordered eating and cannot find a practitioner other than one at Turnpaugh, make sure that you have excellent support from someone else. A therapist, a nutritionist, a naturopath, somebody. I did not feel my history of disordered eating was taken into consideration by Dr. Smith, Dr. Panattoni, or Karrie Billets. I was unable to get clear information about the diet I was to follow and to try to do so would have cost several hundred dollars more. I began to spiral into restriction and food fear again, and when my symptoms increased Dr. Smith told me to restrict further—even though I had already cut out everything he’d instructed me to cut out. I’m now, once again, rebuilding my relationship with food and eating. Dr. Smith would also seem to forget or not check what supplements I was already taking and would prescribe me more of the same thing. He also prescribed some things I was unable to take because of an allergy but didn’t seem concerned that I find an alternative. Not everything can be solved with a barrage supplements and restrictive diets. Some things can, I suppose, and for that there is Turnpaugh.

Fantastic experience: I came to TH&W after a suggestion from my Mom who has been seeing them, Dr. West specifically, for two years. Whilst I appreciate the care I was receiving from my PCP, I went through lots of standard blood work and diagnostic testing for symptoms, and left each appointment with little to no insight and more anxiety. In addition to that, I often hear the “you look healthy, you’re fine!” & I felt anything but. Dr. West made me feel heard, and I felt a confidence in her after leaving my first consult that we would get some answers. She ran in-depth & relevant testing to figure out what imbalances I had going on. She is kind and compassionate, but also confident and firm in her delivery of the information; I didn’t feel like I was there for a “doctors appointment”, I felt like I was having a dual-sided conversation with a person who truly wants to see her patients thrive. Aside from Dr. West, Desiree in billing is phenomenal and polite & prompt in getting billing questions answered (my Mom has also said Desiree has done a great job at getting any billing issues sorted). Michele who initially set my consultation up was also a dream, she was so friendly and relatable and answered all my questions. No one there makes you feel rushed or like you’re a bother to them. Keep doing what you guys do, and educating the public about how great functional wellness & health really is!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about Karrie B., the nutritionist (and so much more) at Turnbaugh. As someone who has struggled with weight, seeing a nutritionist was deeply personal and to be honest, scary. Shame surrounds many people who struggle in this way, but Karrie meets you where you are with zero judgement. I mean zero. I went to my first appointment apprehensive - knowing I needed help and defensive on how this help might be offered. I had nothing to worry about and neither will you. You will be in good hands with Karrie - you will be more knowledgeable, insightful and more empowered. Take the chance. It's worth it! -Erin

Fantastic experience: Dream Team is how I sun up this wellness center! From the heartfelt Dr Shannon who gave me hope when I was at the point of giving up he listened and found the answers I searched a long 4 years not to mention gives an amazing adjustmentto the ray of sunshine Tara the IV nurse brings to the IV room her positivity and calm sense is the best! To Dara that found her gift in phlebotomist she so kind and is the best “sticker” around! The front desk girls always have a smile and welcoming when you open the door!!! Dr Brow whom pops in to make sure all is well and asking if you need anything! You truly become like family when you enter this wellness center!!! I recommend this practice hands down times a million!!!!

Fantastic experience: I have two children with special needs, one of them with a g-tube and we've been nothing but helped and served by this practice! We work with Dr. Gattuso (all over the phone since we live in another state) and she's done wonders for the health of my children. She's addressed deficiencies, reflux, throwing up, drooling and more. Everything has changed!! So grateful to have found this practice and especially Dr. Gattuso.

Fantastic experience: If you’re contemplating making an appointment at Turnpaugh Health & Wellness center, I speak from experience saying that it is life-changing and the best care I have ever received! I’m so glad I came to their office! I can’t say enough good things about the incredible staff and true healing that takes place here. I recently had my first baby and suffered from PPD/anxiety. Dr. Brow spent an hour listening to me and the treatment he started had me feeling better and back to myself within 48 hours! Dr. Brow was so thoughtful and kind- a true blessing from the moment we met him. My husband and infant daughter accompanied me for my visits and we all genuinely look forward to our time with Dr. Brow. I have been continuing to see Dr. Brow for chiropractic adjustments and also done several other therapies in this office, all of which have been outstanding. Fantastic experience: Life altering doctor visit after over a year of affliction. I cannot sing the praises of this place enough. I dealt with joint pain, fatigue, and over a year of breaking into hives daily. I had seen multiple specialists who all told me my immune system was upset, but did absolutely nothing to correct it.I was given the same bloodwork multiple times and obviously got the same results, all the while a storm in my immune system was raging as I waited month after month for someone ambitious enough to investigate further. I was prescribed absurd amounts of allergy pills and encouraged to try other means of masking the actual problem, like an allergy shot, even though 2 allergists/immunologists told me that my issue wasn't allergy related. The excessive pills lead me to retain fluid and gain weight. I was given steroids to help with joint pain, with temporary results that came with additional issues. Every "doctor" seemed uncertain and unconcerned with getting to root cause of my problems, passing me off to one another with months of waiting and loss of hope with each visit. I was told that "80% of people with hives never find that cause" and as my bitterness increased, I learned that it was because 80% of people don't have straight forward conditions that can be found by a flow chart, hands off medical approach. After a very dissatisfied visit at a rheumatologist, I was getting bloodwork done and the lab tech talked with me a little bit about the different issues I was being checked for. She mentioned that if any of it came back positive or if I still didn't have answers, I should check out Turnpaugh. She said she's seen their patients before and after some very tough diagnoses and you wouldn't even know they have those conditions. That tech literally changed my life! I was finally fed up enough to call. I can't believe I waited so long! My first visit was so inspiring. I felt validated and like for the first time in over a year I found a doctor who genuinely cares about making me better. By my second visit with Dr.Shannon Smith I had an answer AND a plan of attack. I am off all the meds that were hurting my body and I am on natural supplements and feeling great. I cannot encourage people to go enough. I am a healthcare worker and my health system failed me, but this place won't! If you have tried everything, seen a bunch of people who didn't help you...try this one. You will not regret it.

Fantastic experience: I have been receiving IV treatment from Tara Y. The experience has been amazing. She is a joy to be around and I always leave feeling better and more alive than when I came in. The IV treatment itself has been huge in my overall wellness. I can feel my immune system kicking in within minutes and feel amazing for days afterwards. Fantastic experience: I was initially one of their biggest cynics however after several years of Dr. Shannon Smith helping my family out and now me personally, I'm a raving fan. By taking a scientific, holistic approach he has helped my family in ways that traditional medicine was not capable.

Negative experience: I called, left voicemails. No return. Called, talked to employees who promised to return my call. Nothing. Finally i called and told them what i stated here and a lady promised to call me back... She did with no answers. Then promised to call again. Never received that call. They need to get their stuff straightened out. I found a different place to go to in the same town as one of their offices. Dropped 2 grand and had answers in a timely manner.
