I called the office to inquire about Dr. Makkani’s provider privileges (for 2025 enrollment ). The staff never hesitated and provide me with assistance effortlessly. I was able to make a provider selection immediately after just one call! No back and forth calling, emailing or waiting days for a response. Well done and I recommend.

Negative experience: My aunt called me after her initial visit with Dr. Makanni and she was very upset! She said that the doctor was very rude and arrogant and barely let her talk and explain her condition to her. My aunt said she kept going on an on about how she owns the practice and that her husband is the office manager, etc., but my aunt was there to be diagnosed, not to hear the doctor brag about herself. My aunt said she could barely get a word in, and then the doctor just left out of the room! My aunt is elderly, so I’m writing this review for her. She said she felt like Dr. Makkani treated her like she was nothing, she said she will never go back and she would not recommend this doctor at all!

Negative experience: This is by far the worst physician and team I have gone to. Staff is extremely rude. They try to cut you off in the middle of you speaking and don’t let you speak. They don’t want to accept their mistakes as well. I was on hold for 40 minutes waiting to speak with one staff member as the receptionist states “she is in between patients and you will have to hold.” I called from another phone 40 minutes later regarding my prior authorization; receptionist answers the phone and gets frustrated and gets the prior authorization lady. The other staff member gets on the phone and starts informing us she is working on the authorization for a completely different patient. If staff member would have listened and asked for the patient name she wouldn’t have been confused regarding which patient I was calling for me. Staff member continues to state that she is working on the prior authorization and the number they have been calling is not answering. I tried to tell them that that’s not the number they need to call and she continues to not want to listen and cut me off in mid conversation. I tried to give her the number of whom she needs to call and she was not trying to hear it. For the past month, I have been doing their job in my prior authorization and speaking to the pharmacy and my insurance and they still cannot give me an update in the process of my prior authorization. At the end of the conversation, staff member stated, “you can give your business elsewhere.” All these years I have been to many clinics, none of the staff members were rude and ignorant as this clinics. I will not be giving them my time and business and recommend others not to go there.

Negative experience: The staff is very nice especially her PA Aimen but Dr. Sarwat Makkani is very Rude and has NO Respect on how to talk to and deal with her patients. I would not recommend her to anyone. I am the one who recommended her to a family member but it was the biggest mistake I have ever made. She was very rude and came in the room in a rush and was also in a rush to leave. Her PA was more patient and behaved in a nicer manner than the Dr. herself. Multiple family members have gone to her and had the same complaint so I decided to go with my family member to see because it was hard to believe a doctor can behave in such a bad manner but they were right. Dr. Makkani has the attitude that what she is saying is right and the patient only has to listen to her and she doesn’t have to listen to the patient or try to help find a solution if there is a problem. She has even told my family member “It’s not my problem you need to figure it out,”when they address a problem to her. I have never in my entire life heard a healthcare professional say that to a patient let alone any doctor! I have spoken to some other people who go to her and they are really unhappy with her as well because of the way she talks to them. There are many doctors out there and trust me Dr. Sarwat Makkani is not one of them. A patient goes to a doctor to tell them about their pain and problems to get an answer or work out a solution, not to be tense, scared or treated disrespectfully by the doctor themselves when going to a doctor.

Negative experience: Doesn't care about her patients. This is the first time a dr wouldn't fill my blood pressure medicine. She would only prescribe 14 pills which insurance wouldn't fill unless it was 90 days. I haven't had meds for 5 days and had a widow maker 3 years ago. She wants me to come in when I saw a dr on friday and blood pressure was normal. I have called her office 4 times and she wouldn't call me back.

I felt so heard, validated, and confident in my health after seeing her. It isn’t just limited to her bedside manner — I had gone to a board certified dermatologist for my rosacea and was prescribed a cream that made my rosacea worse! After just a few days of trying the combination Dr. Makkani prescribed, my rosacea is already so much better. Positive experience: The wait was long today but otherwise good experience, thorough patient questions. Also make sure when you come to manually close the doors, if you let it close by itself it slams and after sitting in the waiting room, people accidentally slamming it gets a little irritating

She is always thorough with my care and since I have several autoimmune diseases, when I get sick she is so on top of it. She has worked alongside my rheumatologist and that makes me feel confident that she has my best interest in mind. If you need a PCP she is a doctor you can count on.

Negative experience: Made an appointment for my mom a month ago and wasn't told that her plan isn't covered for this dr. Julia was the one who made an appointment at the front desk and asked us personally what plan is it. When my mom showed up at her appt while fasting for her labs, they denied seeing her and canceled her appointment. They told her that there was a phone call madr but NOBODY called us to notify that her plan isn't covered. Talked to Ajaz the manager but he just made excuses for the front desk receptionist. Ridiculous!! Never recommending this office.

I came to know when i visit pharmacy and they said we dont have your prescription. After that i call clinic and they said we sent to another pharmacy. Although they wrote pharmacy name and address which we recommend. Mistakes happens once.

Negative experience: The reason I chose this office was because of the reviews. First day I got blood taken out, the nurse didn’t seem like she wanted to be there, was aggressive on me and left me a huge bruise that lasted for days. Doctor seemed pretty insensitive too. She would rush my consults and not give me enough time to ask questions, it felt like she didn’t take my concerns serious since I look young and healthy. I didn’t feel safe during my pap smear either. They explained my reason of back pain getting worse was because I’m working out too much which didn’t make sense because I stopped being active before it got worse. They tried to charge me a deductible which my insurance didn’t have any if I came to an In-Network provider (which they are). I asked to have my records sent to my email, a month passed and they never did. Called again and I they’re trying to charge me PER SHEET (keep in mind it’s an email.) for MY OWN RECORDS. They said they will talk to the manager and call me back. A week later and I still never got my call back. I tried to be understanding and nice but they are not helping me at all.
