Fantastic experience: Such a great community-oriented, and wellness-focused practice! I first started seeing them 14 yrs ago for routine chiropractic adjustments, but I've come to rely on them for whole body care. They're amazing sports docs! If I sprain my ankle, tear ligaments in my thumb, or tweak my hamstring, they have a variety of protocols (massage, graston, laser, manipulation, and/or rock-tape) to help speed healing and recovery. They also give me exercises to help ameliorate or strengthen whatever body part needs work. The doctors here are experts at treating all the little injuries that come from daily life and our athletic pursuits. Friends and neighbors have also relied on them for post-surgical recovery. They really understand how all our body parts work together, and how rebalancing one part can positively affect all the other parts. Can't say enough great things about them!!

Fantastic experience: I’m Dr. Johnston’s new biggest fan! In 4 visits/2 weeks I have gone from barely able to walk from low back pain to ZERO low back pain and return to full mobility. I also was having daily headaches that would explode into migraines with weather changes that got cleared up so fast and thoroughly that I forgot they were even a problem - even with the recent snow! After these treatments I also got the bonus wins of being able to sleep through the night and no longer getting numb toes when jogging! Having been a practitioner of holistic medicine for 12+ years, as well has having 2/3 of my back fused with metal rods, I’m pretty picky about who I choose to work on me. I knew from our initial consultation Dr. J was an excellent choice because of his wealth of knowledge and fantastic communication skills. During my visits with him I feel heard, safe, respected, and 100% confident that his treatment will get me back to health.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Wash Park Chiropractic for two and a half years now. I see Dr Goodman for monthly maintenance. I’ve likened my adjustments to preventative maintenance on a car. The daily wear and tear, stress and weekend hiking puts a lot of stress on my body, and Dr Goodman gets my body back in order. By the way, it’s not just my spine. My hips, ankles and wrists all need adjusting too. I leave my adjustments feeling refreshed and inch taller! If you are nervous about seeing a chiropractor remember, new mothers trust Dr Goodman with their newborn infant! No one is more protective of their baby than their mama. She’s gentle and thorough with her patients.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Andrea Toppin has provided excellent care for my chiropractic needs for more than a year now, keeping me pain free in my back and shoulders. Acupuncture with Cybil Kendrick, along with the stretches she has suggested, eliminated the sciatic nerve pain in my leg. Every massage therapist I've worked with at Washington Park Chiropractic has been extremely knowledgeable and the massages performed where exceptionally helpful in relieving muscle soreness and tension. I am hyper-mobile and can be difficult to adjust but all the doctors have been able to adjust both my neck and lower back with ease.

I have had many types of massages over the past 10 years, and more often than not I felt sore right afterward or the next day. Brian is the first massage therapist who was able to apply just enough pressure to loosen my tight areas, but not so much that leaves me in pain. His sessions have been an essential part of my self care for over 3 years!

Fantastic experience: I get regular massages with Marcy and she is "The One". I am a recreational athlete, I am really hard on my body. To keep it working like I want it to, I started to incorporate regular massage into my routine. When looking for a massage therapist it is important to me that they don't use too much oil, they listen to my ever changing needs, they are consistent, respectful and not just good, but special. Marcy is checks all those boxes. I feel better, lighter on my feet and like I am able to give a bit more in my workouts that follow a massage with Marcy. She is a great resource to have to keep me healthy while training for my next recreational adventure.

Negative experience: Avoid this place at all cost. While they do a great job treating they screwed me over. After being injured in a car accident they informed me that I was eligible for medical pay and that all my services would be covered and they would handle billing the insurance since I gave them all the information. After two months of treatment I received a random notice they wanted me to sign making me responsible for all payments they said were covered. I refused to sign it and was extremely insulted when no one had answer to why I received this letter. After that I stoped going to them and two months later received a $3,400 bill in the mail and a treating letter to hire a collection agency. This place is all about money and doesn't care about how their scheme affects the patient.

Fantastic experience: What can I say about Washington Park chiropractic. I would say every time I walk in there, it feels like I’m walking into a serene sanctuary. It’s very quiet and peaceful environment. The relaxing vibe always helps me prepare mentally and emotionally, and it feels like a respite from the rushing world outside. Full disclosure: I’ve been working with Dr. Lisa for several years now, and she’s been my primary chiropractor. She has treated me for all kinds of sports injuries (“getting old” injuries), and maladies due to the fact that I was on some medication (such as prednisone) that caused some complications such as random swelling of different parts of my body. Dr Lisa has treated me with manual manipulation, Graston technique, spinal and neck adjustments, taping and wrapping. I see the onsite massage sometimes help me live a fuller, pain-free life. Wash Park Chiropractic has been an amazing ally in my wellness journey.

I felt so comfortable in her presence, as I am a bit hesitant about getting chiropractic chiropractic care in general… She helped ease that concern!!! I also appreciated that she would use the skeletal props to demonstrate the techniques that she would be doing before she did them, to help me understand the treatment. Fantastic experience: I recently visited Wash Park Chiro for a massage to help with extremely sore muscles due to strength training and used 1 of my massage appts from the 6 pack deal I had recently purchased. I was paired with one of their new massage therapists named Brian and was pleased with his attention to the soreness and knots as well as having me communicate what I needed. I am already looking at my calendar to schedule another!

Fantastic experience: Dr Johnston is a miracle worker. I walked in not being able to turn my neck from side to side without pain and after an adjustment and dry needling, I was without pain in 2 days and had full range of motion back!
