Negative experience: Very untrustworthy and now I’m out almost $400

Fantastic experience: Jamie, is very awesome I just love the way she motivate me to push hard but also allow me to go at my own pace. I love that fact that she ask what I wanted out of our sessions and knew exactly what workouts I need to get the maximum results I sure hate that we only have 6 sessions together but with the advice she gives I know I’ll do good in her absence. She is a real rock star.

Negative experience: This company sold me a dream full of lies! They said I would have an account manager I could contact anytime... He lasted less than 24 hours before he left the company with no replacement. This company said I would have a nutritionist. That also was short lived. I met a nutritionist 2 times via zoom before she cancelled on the day we were supposed to have our 3rd session without any explanation or attempt to reschedule. Never met another nutritionist. The 1st trainer they put me with showed up with a purse she refused to put down (meaning her actually showing me an exercise to do was absolutely not happening). She sat on her phone the entire session. It was the worst experience I've EVER had with a personal trainer. My replacement I got after complaining about her was actually the only good thing that has come from this company. Alexia is awesome, but I would absolutely not recommend this company to anyone. They are overpriced and have no follow through with the promises they make. You're only luck at a good experience is if you happen to find one of the few good people throughout the company, but it is a high turnover, so good luck!

Negative experience: Advise to read contact before signing up. Signed up via teleconference because was informed that there were at least 20 trainers in my area. However was unable to get a trainer within the 10 business day window and are still trying to seek payment even though I requested to cancel numerous times — was informed that I am late with a payment. Will Also report them to bbb.

Fantastic experience: I decided to regain control of my physical and mental health after several years of living an idle and very painful existence, but wasn’t sure where to turn. Not wanting to join a gym and needing personalized help with cleaning up my nutrition and becoming active again, I decided to try Svetness. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to get specifically what I needed, but desperate to change my life, I jumped in. After nearly two months, I’m feeling the many positive effects. Svetness aligned me with expert help with both nutrition and physical activity. To my surprise, my Svetness Nutritionist, Daniela was able to help me with my specific vegetarian/pescatarian needs. This was huge for me! Her genuine enthusiasm and knowledge on nutrition is inspiring. In addition to our monthly calls, she provided me with meal plans and detailed information about healthy choices. This, coupled with my exercise coach, Rob has been life changing. Rob has helped me regain physical balance, muscle control and strength, while reducing lower back, hip and sciatic pain in just this short period of time. I’m feeling the workouts, eating more mindfully, and my body is liking this transition. I’m loving the process and looking forward to returning to ‘myself’. Fantastic experience: nutrition services - I have been working with Svetness for one month and I am down 12 lbs. I have committed to the workouts but even more to the meal plan and suggestions provided to me by my own Nutritionist. Daniela has taken her time to get to know me and understand some of my habits. I feel very supported by her and her knowledge and understanding of nutrition has been very helpful and impressive. I have committed to this plan for a year and i am very confident if I can do the work, she has a meal plan to get me there :)

Fantastic experience: My personal trainer, Haley arrives at my apartment every Tuesday. She works with me for an hour. She provides a solid, knowledgable workout.

Fantastic experience: Hands down Lyria Estes is the best trainer I have ever worked with. Svetness did an amazing job at perfectly pairing her with me. Lyria and I have been training for the past 5 months, working out 3 times a week. She has truly started to transform my body and I feel the best I ever have as an adult. Lyria is an expert in her field and has in depth knowledge of muscular anatomy and fitness science. She really listens to me about my unique fitness goals and considers my muscular anatomy and body type. Using her knowledge/ expertise and consideration of my body/goals she creates workouts that are very specifically tailor me and my goals. Like I said, I have worked with many trainers throughout the years and I have never found one as good as Lyria… if you are looking for trainer, you NEED to ask for Lyria. I am so grateful to have found her and for Svetness pairing us together!

Fantastic experience: I worked with Svetness for about a year now, and the nutritionist and trainer for this program have been amazing. Daniela (my nutritionist) has been very supportive, and has worked diligently to work with my food preferences to make sure they are healthy, good, and support my journey. My trainer Jacob has also been great at providing me great workouts, and advice on fitness and making sure the workout progresses to hit my goals. I'm at 35+ lbs lost and it's been great.

Negative experience: This business is a TOTAL SCAM. Do not give your credit card. DO NOT USE. Services are not as sold, they pretend to be a middle man at an uplift, they have no trainers on staff. I had to report all the charges and change my cards to get my money back for services they never delivered and prevent future charges. Should be reported to the BBB and FTC ASAP until closed.

Fantastic experience: I live in the tides and I want to say that Nicole is a great yoga teacher and she is very knowledgeable on how the poses help different parts of your body!!! Great instructor and I highly recommend!

My personal trainer, Jermey was knowledgeable, motivating, and created a customized program just for me. The workouts were challenging yet enjoyable, and the nutrition guidance was invaluable. Negative experience: Svetness personal training engages in unethical, unprofessional & incompetent business practices at all levels (sales, training, & customer service). What a horrible experience! I almost never write negative reviews, but I wanted to alert potential customers that Svetness is not an honorable company. I wish that I had known! After the first trainer unprofessionally walked out of gym before the session started on 1/30/24, Svetness apologized, gave me one complimentary session, and suspended my account pending assignment of a new trainer. After consecutive emails to Svetness on 2/27/24 & 2/29/24 advising that I had not yet heard from the new trainer, I finally received a response advising that the trainer had contacted me via text on 2/2/24, although I had previously advised Svetness that I could only be reached via email or landline. On 2/29/24, Svetness represented that the trainer would contact me via email and advised that I had until 3/30/24 to complete the seven sessions. Svetness did not respond to any of my consecutive emails advising that I had not heard from the trainer nor to my subsequent emails requesting a refund for my seven remaining sessions, totaling $560.00 ($80.00 x 7), due to Svetness’ non-performance. Finally, on 3/15/24, the trainer contacted me and I was required to complete seven sessions within a two-week period. During the last week, the trainer cancelled a session and then also the make-up session on 3/30/24. Due to the trainer’s cancellations, my membership was extended by one week, but then Svetness did not add me to its app so that the session actually could be completed. Svetness ignored my repeated requests to do so, and finally responded to the trainer’s request to add me to the app, which I only learned about when the trainer showed up.

Negative experience: From Justin - Awful company. Do not sign contract! Will need to get a lawyer to get out of this. Waited 4 hours on customer service line. Then they disconnected. They take your money. I can’t get out of paying them $600 a month after I gave them my credit card. They say cancel at any time. NOT TRUE. Said that I have to keep paying for 12 months. Will lower monthly amount if I extend contract. I just want to CANCEL!

Negative experience: This company is trash and snakey don’t do business w them. They don’t care about doing right by their customers and just want to collect your credit card info. There’s plenty of reviews on here saying the same thing but I’m sure they won’t change so they can take advantage of more people. Their salespeople don’t go over the policies and lock you into a contract that automatically renews unless you give them a 30 day notice. The company will never give you any kind of heads up that the renewal is coming up and the trainers have no idea what’s happening. They post their customer service operating hours as 7 days a week but I requested 3 call backs and tried to use the SMS service and never got anything. The account manager won’t even return my emails

Negative experience: I signed a year long contract with Svetness. Within the year I came into some serious financial hardship. I could no longer afford the additional $600 a month for the sessions (X2 sessions per-week). I tried to work with the Svetness management to cancel the contract until I could get back on my feet. They only gave me an option for a discounted buy-out for the remaining sessions (about 6 months of sessions). And after the buy-out your remaining sessions are forfeited and cannot be used. I definitely feel taken advantage of and I'm disappointed in myself for doing business with a company that is so unreasonable. The only reason this review is two stars is because the trainer that I met was really good. Now I am forced to continue paying the cost of something that I cannot afford while also continuing to do business with a company holding a contract in my face. This type of policy ends up hurting the trainers, hurting the customer, and also hurting Svetness in the long run because I will not be doing business with them in the future. I would have loved to continue to do business with Svetness if they would have just allowed me to re-up the contract whenever I got back on my feet. But I will find someone else now. They did give me a 45-day pause period. But it will take me most likely a year or two to get back on my feet.

Negative experience: I would rate this in the negatives if I could . They are a scam do NOT give them your credit card or even phone number. They have been harassing me for months about me trying to end services with them. Plus they won't stop charging me as they said and I need a medical excuse to stop being charged. It's not just that I can't exercise I need bariatric surgery before I can medically exercise again and they aren't worth it and way too expensive. These people aren't good at all if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

Fantastic experience: Svetness and the team are amazing. Gerson answered all my emails, the trainer Joseph is phenomenal and extremely dedicated, cheerful, great at motivating, listens, and I feel excellent after the work outs. The nutritionist they linked me with was also very helpful (Daniela) and kept track where we left off. I recommend Svetness to anyone who wants to get back their life, health, and work out ideas are doable and long lasting. 5 star!

Negative experience: I DO NOT recommend this company. I would give them a minus zero. Svetness Core Values are as follow, "We believe in delivering excellent service, to maintain the highest standards." Lets break this sentence into two parts. The first, "We believe in delivering excellent service." Their service is only as good as the trainer they provide. If you are lucky enough to have a good trainer. Once you sign on and pay, any days that you miss, you will not receive a refund. Svetness billing department will continue to charge you (credit card) for services NOT provided. Second, "To maintain the highest standards." By definition principles of propriety, honesty, and integrity. This company lacks all the above and is a joke!

Fantastic experience: Great trainers and convenient flexibility in time and training methods is essential to good service here and they’ve marked those boxes. Alyssa and Massimo work(ed) with me and I’m making lots of progress. It’s been very challenging but within reasonable range. The account managers are really trying to make sure we have a great experience. It’s like another part of the whole experience to have someone that makes sure you’re getting what you need out of your service. Arturo has been a wonderful account manager. The progress I made with Svettness is amazing for the price I paid. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Negative experience: a great way to get ripped off. been battling with pausing my account over a surgery yet they keep charging me despite agreeing to pause my account. these people are horribly disorganised and clearly do not care about their customers.

Positive experience: I have had a great experience with my trainer, Tyler. He is highly knowledgable and supports my specific personal goals. He adapts the workouts to meet my needs and has been helpful in finding ways to incorporate these changes in my lifestyle. I have also appreciated the support from the nutritionist. It has been helpful to have recipes that fit my needs and the needs of my family.

Negative experience: This company works ethics are none, when it comes to take your money, they show no respect, extremely hard to cancel even if you only sing for 3 months they will take money out you bank account after you aske them to cancel. If your 3 month agreement ends they renew contract month to month but they do not disclose that at the beginning, I'd be really careful about doing business with them

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would. I had one consultation with this company to decide if it was the right thing for me. The next day I told them nevermind I’ll start another time because I have to have surgery. The end up taking money out my account and I don’t even have a trainer or anything with these people. They said they sending refund and they lied and never did. They just want to steal People money.

Negative experience: 0/5 I have been fighting with my "account manager" for days now to no regard. I got told by the sales person that if I did not enjoy or want to continue with the contract I could have my money back "as if nothing happened". However as soon as I wanted to cancel it was my fault and I could not cancel and had to pay 50% of the contract policy over $2k for not providing a single service. And their reasoning was that they provided me with trainers but I never scheduled with them. Well the first trainer they assigned me to had 2 slot of availability and said I had to make those work no choice. The second trainer they assigned me to wanted me to drive over 45 minutes away and pay for a gym membership on top of the membership with Svetness. And the third was a female when I explicitly said I wanted male. Their customer service is beyond absurd and I highly recommend you take your business to a normal gym. You'll at least know what you are getting.

Fantastic experience: Very highly recommended. Ever since starting this journey with Jessie I have learned so much felt so much more confident in working out the constant push and motivation. I have tried multiple personal trainers in gyms and paid lots of money but when it comes down to it this by far has been my best experience and the fact I can do a good workout at home and get the same amount of sweat as the gym is awesome. Fantastic experience: My wife and I joined Svetness at the beginning of 2023 and Jesse Smith was assigned as our personal trainer. Jesse has been awesome from the very first session. He has listened to our needs, designed an exercise program that worked for both of us and has pushed us to get better each week. We both feel like we are making great progress and look forward to our workouts with Jesse each week. If you are looking for an at home trainer, look no further than Svetness and if you are in the Austin area, as for Jesse. You will not be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: I have been a Svetness client for almost 6 months, I’m located outside Tacoma, WA and have been very happy with my personal trainer and how communicative the company has been checking in with me etc. My personal trainer Tony Jawo has been a joy to work with. He is very knowledgeable, professional, punctual and has a great sense of humor when I’m giving him a sass over exercises I’m not a fan of. For me personally this has been a great experience and it has gotten me back into a routine after a year of disruptions and an injury. I will recommend that you are doing your due diligence and read the contracts about not renewing, etc.

Fantastic experience: I've had a good experience working with Svetness and my trainer, Emily. She is accomodating, motivating and caring of my needs. She has the unqiue ability to push me when I need but ease up when I've had enough. Svetness has also been very accomodating with complying my building's very strict requirements for allowing personal trainers to my gym and they worked with me to provide all the neccesary documents.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Damaris for a few months now and she is amazing. She has not only been super helpful in guiding me through this journey but has always been very accommodating and quick to response.

Fantastic experience: It took a little bit to find the right trainer but Latoya has been great! She is kind, listens, pushes and way too perky at 6am (in a good way)! Feeling stronger and like my goals are within reach!
