Negative experience: I feel bad for leaving this review as they are nice people, but I went over a year ago to this location with problems related to my ankle and ended up having spine related problems and dizziness for life. As I mentioned, I went for a twisted ankle but after agreeing with taking some x rays the Dr. insisted on treating my back (which had no issues at all). I went to about 4 adjustments but in the last one I feel he really hurt my spine. I didn’t give it too much importance in the moment but days after I started to feel nausea and motion sickness which I didn’t relate to my adjustment at the time. My condition worsened and ended up with different specialists (cardiologist and neurologist) with symptoms of disorientation and dizziness. It was after thousands of dollars spent and very stressful days not knowing what was wrong with me that an MRI showed a mis adjustment in C2-c3 (spine) was obstructing nerves and blood flow to my head. I’m still struggling with this often despite the medication. It is really frustrating as I just went to treat my ankle. Today is one of those bad days (dizziness / disorientation)and that’s why I decided to leave this review. I hope this helps other people. Don’t let them treat issues other than the ones you are going for. They will take x rays and try to sell you the full package and may en up being more expensive than you think. You can end up with a condition like this. Be really really careful with your back.

Fantastic experience: First, I would like to say that the staff here is amazing! They are very polite, professional, understanding, and caring. Second, the treatment and therapies they offer are helping me recover from my car accident. I was in a car accident back in 2021 and now another one in 2024. I went to a different chiropractor for my first one and I can say out of all the chiropractors I’ve seen, Dr. Waters is my favorite! He’s very nice and he is not aggressive with his adjustments. I have multiple herniated discs, pinched nerves, TBI, neck and back issues. His adjustments feel great! They also have the decompression therapy that hydrates your discs which I like a lot. My overall experience has been phenomenal and if you are thinking about visiting Curis Functional Health don’t hesitate! I still have to recover to get back to myself pre-accident but even when I do I will still continue to see Dr. Waters for routine care.

Fantastic experience: After having 3 major spine surgeries due to trauma, I’ve always done my research before letting any chiropracter adjust me. Dr. Waters is extremely educated in his field. He has a gentle touch and his demeanor is kind and friendly. His professional approach to bring health and wellness thru chiropractic adjustments and teaching his patients practices for better spine health is to be commended. He also offers treatment in Interferential therapy and Spinal Decompression, both which have given tremendous relief of pain and helped with correction of subluxations in the spine. Vanessa, his chiropractic assistant, is helpful and friendly. She’ll answer any questions about setting up appointments, billing, and just about anything you may need! She’s a rockstar! Oh, and she’s BILINGUAL!!!!

Fantastic experience: I am a very active person who likes to garden every day and work out 3-4 times weekly. My lower back problems had slowly gotten worse over time. Many days, I had a lot of pain in my lower back with shooting pain down one or both legs. Decompression therapy has enabled me to not only move and walk without pain, but maintain my active lifestyle. Dr. Waters and his staff are the BEST!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Waters was recommended to me by a fellow-church member. I am so appreciative for that recommendation!! I stated out with great pain in my lower back, left hip and occasionally sholder pain. Today, I am 98% pain free. I say 98% only because there is an occasional twitch in my left hip. I continue seeing Dr. Waters because I keep improving! Additionally, the office staff are "Incredible"! They are kind, patient and so helpful to meet any need you may have. Also, I see Dr. Shea Barakatt (Therapist) at this same location. I've had several weekly therapy sessions with her and she is so "real" and she makes it easy to speak openly and freely. I have since graduated to monthly maintenance therapy sessions. However, I'm grateful that her door is open if I need her sooner.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended Dr. Keeston Waters by my midwife during my third pregnancy as I experienced severe back pain/ labor during my second birth and was nervous it would happen again. Unfortunately after being rear ended by the other vehicles and being in constant pain from the neck down, I kind of was left with no choice. Curis Functional Health in Rockwall has suppressed all my fears. Dr. Waters and his staff Syndey and Vanessa are very welcoming, kind and gentle. The decompression machine also has helped tremendously. I no longer deal with constant, daily migraines and there is no constant pain in my back when sitting all day or standing. I am definitely on the road to recovery.

I will always be grateful to know & trust that I can get to their office (thankfully, we live 2 miles away), get treatment, get adjusted, check out, & be home in 40 minutes or less. What a huge stress relief this is for me! Also: check out is a breeze because they keep your CC info. on file & you don't have to do anything but confirm your next appointment. Curis also does not send me too many reminders to both my email address & text (as other healthcare professionals tend to do despite my preferences/settings): they send one text reminder exactly 24 hours before the appointment, which is truly perfect for me. Thank you, Curis, for being a genuinely reliable, welcome relief to me & my body-mind-soul temple in so many ways. You are abidingly appreciated, admired, & Loved.

They were able to very quickly diagnose my issue and outlined a plan to correct the issue and it went exactly as described. I have a very hectic schedule and the team is beyond flexible to accommodate me in that way. Definitely recommend this practice for any chiropractor needs.

Fantastic experience: Always do a great job!!

Positive experience: Dr. Waters and the whole team at Curis Functional Health are amazing. I suffer from migraines and neck pain, and after sticking with my treatment plan both have improved a lot. When I have some pain that’s outside of my treatment plan areas Dr. Waters is more than willing to adjust those places when asked and he listens to the amount of pressure requested whether it’s more or less.

Negative experience: They do not treat all customers the same, they prefer some customers than others. I am still waiting a call back from the owner to let him know about my complaints. According to one of the Doctors a customer complaint for about me and my wife just because we were giving each other a regular kiss while i was waiting for the Dr. (it was just a reg kiss, nothing inappropiate at all) I don’t know of any policy or law that prohibits giving a regular kiss to your wife at a chiropractic office. **My atttorney will not be sending more future customers their way** I have been waiting more than a month from a call back from the actual owner, i am sure they did not forward my message and complaint to the owner. I have a new Dr in Rockwall at a different clinic that knows the actual owner of this clinic and will let him know about my complaint whenever he gets a chance to do so.

Negative experience: Think twice about making an appointment with this chiropractic office, they will give you a free adjustment in exchange for a nice review, that’s why all their reviews are 5 stars. They have their favorite customers, and don’t treat all the customers the same way. Plus one of their Drs. Takes way longer adjustments sessions with clients that are woman.

Fantastic experience: I took my toddler in today because we’ve been dealing with Constipation and I’ve tried some things at home but nothing would get her going. But thank god after her adjustment here, she had a bowel movement! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Cody Cantwell for over 6 months and rate him and this facility a full 5 stars! Dr. Cantwell fixed a problem that I have had for 5 years. I had spine surgery and a full left hip replacement trying to fix some flexor pain in my left upper leg. Still had the pain in the flexor after both surgeries and months of physical rehab. Finally made an appointment to see Dr. Cantwell and after 3 months of his expertise, the pain is gone! I am forever grateful. I would highly recommend him to anyone! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Came to Curis with lumbar spondylitis and five of five symptoms of the condition. Nothing relieved the pain. Curis and Dr. Waters recommended 12 spinal decompression treatments. I took their advice and started the regimen. I noticed a lessening of pain almost immediately and it has continued to diminish over the course of treatment. While not all of the symptoms have been eliminated , all have improved drastically and continue to do so. I cannot say enough about the benefits of the decompression treatment and recommend it to anyone experiencing pain in the lower back. Dr. Waters, Bobbie, and the entire team have worked tirelessly to diagnose and deliver this life changing treatment.

Fantastic experience: I did a series of 24 neck decompressions (2 rounds of 12) to rid myself of neck, shoulder, and arm pain. I had previously done 6 weeks of rehab and was better, but the neck decompressions are what made the difference in my recovery. I continue to get 1 decompression treatment every 4 weeks for maintenance.

The office was recommended to me by a couple of friends and I was so glad we went. Office space is clean, staff is accommodating and Dr Cantrell is great with my kids. I received immediate relief from both arms going numb while I lay down and my kids are athletes who also received immediate relief. Recommend this place for everything.

I have sensory issues with things and people touching my neck. Dr. Cantwell was very understanding and went through exactly what he was doing to help me settle in. I haven't felt shamed for what I can/can't do, they really want to help me get better. Bobbie was very helpful walking me through the intake process. Fantastic experience: I have Fibromyalgia and recently had a total knee replacement. During the surgery my SI joint was inflamed and misaligned. Dr Cantwell understands Fibromyalgia and how careful you have to be while adjusting my SI joint back into place. Dr Cantwell was not in a hurry and he has gently realigned my SI joint. Then he has carefully helped my spine adjust to my new knee. I can't say enough about how grateful I am for his help in pain relief. My hip has calmed down and I am continuing to improve. Thank goodness he understands Fibromyalgia and the caution needed when adjusting my back and hip. Thank you Dr Cantwell!!

Fantastic experience: I had terrible pain in the lower back that I could hardly walk in the house! I couldn't cook, stand in the kitchen or stand on my feet longer than hour or two !! Dr. Waters did a MIRACLE , but seriously, my pain is gone, now I can do all my daily activities and my back never gets stiff and I don’t have that horrible back pain! We were referred to Dr Waters through friends who said he is a great doctor. We both are going to him and he is helping us. Fantastic experience: I have struggled with severe sciatica for the past seven years, which was brought on with my first of two pregnancies. Dr. Keeston Waters and his friendly staff - Taylor and Rachel - were quick to accommodate my schedule with an appointment for x-rays, give me the insurance information, and help answer any questions. After my x-rays showed three vertebrae were compressed, which were causing the sciatica pain, Dr. Waters recommended twelve sessions of adjustments, followed by spinal decompression. For four weeks, I was adjusted by Dr. Waters, then, immediately, I proceeded to the spinal decompression table to decompress those compressed vertebrae. The spinal weight - cable is selected by the doctor and varies depending on the severity of the symptoms. I did this three times a week for four weeks. After the second treatment, I had zero sciatica pain. ZERO. NONE. Why hadn’t I done this years ago? Since starting this process, whenever I hear someone mention any physical pain, I preach about Curis Functional Health, Dr. Waters, their super - friendly staff, and spinal decompression. LIFE CHANGING.
