He was very thorough in his examination and quelled my anxiety. Sailwinds has been my primary care for over a year now i believe and i have had nothing but good experiences with them. Fantastic experience: I've been living in Maryland for the last two years. I was never able to find a primary doctor. After visits to the ER or Your Doc's In I decided it was time to get a primary. I gave them a call and found out they were accepting new patients. Wonderful and warm reception on the phone. Asked about my insurance and made my appointment. My appointment was with Pete Lerza. He listened to every concern I had and was genuinely caring. I wasn't rushed in and out like some number. He explained everything to me that he has plans for and courses of treatment if needed. I can't say enough great things about Sailwinds. So thankful my wife came across them. Anyone needing medical care this is the place to go. Will be recommending them to anyone who asks. Fantastic experience: Very efficient with very little waiting. Staff is warm and considerate. All questions were addressed, including setting up labs and scans. Prescriptions are called in to your pharmacy, saving lots of time.

As an individual diagnosed with autism later in life and managing chronic illness, having a dedicated team of professionals who actively listen and address my concerns has significantly alleviated my stress. I previously had Kaiser and have a few chronic conditions that were getting worse with no answers or help from any of the doctors at Kaiser. I was almost losing hope in getting my health back. I just moved to Salisbury and Dr Lerza and Sailwinds was very highly recommendations when I asked for referrals on a local website. He did not disappoint. He was very thorough and gave me numerous referrals to specialists to help identify what's going on and help me get my health back on track. Felt hopeful about my health for the first time in years. Negative experience: The appointment with Peter Lerza was awesome but when the receptionist called me back at his request she was rude and did not listen to me or do what he ask her to do. So I guess my mom will get just ok care because she was rushing to get off the phone and not do her job correctly. He wanted to see my mom in a week not 3.

It isn't just a "any questions, nope? Out ya go." kind of doctor. Theresa is also another staff member that takes care of you when you are there. I can't give enough high praise to this staff and couldn't be happier that I finally found a practice that cares and bends over backwards to get and keep you healthy.

Sailwinds came highly recommended on the Salisbury Facebook group, and I was thrilled that they were accepting new patients. I got an appointment with Pete Lerza, DNP, who has outstanding online reviews. He is very thorough and kind, and he came up with a plan for my medical care that I am very happy with. They have a Quest lab located right within the group so I didn’t have to go anywhere else to get lab work done. I loved the whole team, from the receptionist, Lanai the medical assistant, Pete, and the phlebotomist who painlessly took my blood. I highly recommend Sailwinds Medical Group!!

The ladies at the front desk were expedient with checking me in, kind and professional. Dr Malkus was very thorough with his questions and medical interview of my health. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Malkus for over forty five years. He is one of the most compassionate and efficient general practitioners I have ever gone to. THE OFFICE AND MEDICAL STAFF are very polite and right on the top of my list. Very little waiting and they treat us like family. I absolutely recommend the entire office. If he doesn't have an answer for you, he will refer you to another source without reservations. I trust him 100%. The in office lab service is exceptional. The technician is also tops in our opinion and it is very nice to have everything in one place. Recently my wife chose them as her medical staff. That in itself is a good recommendation. Her new PA is exceptonal. Trust me, she was skeptical but very pleased.
