Fantastic experience: Great gym! If you have small children and looking for a safe space while you work out, this is definitely it! Recent updates and expanded spaces have really made a big difference. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I just had to share our experience here. First I love the gym in general for myself but I have a young son and it’s been such a blessing to be able to drop him off at the daycare there. It’s been a slow process trying to get my son acclimated but all the ladies in there have been so helpful and caring. Ms. Olga, Ms D, Nicky, and ms Giselle have really helped us navigate this transition and we are so grateful! We love it here. Thank you.

Negative experience: The gym is nice and clean but if you'll decide to cancel your membership than you better check your bank statements regularly! I had to cancel my stepdaughter twice cause the cancelation didn't go through. The best part when my wife signed the cancelation form with the owner himself - only to find out 9 months later they were still charging her and of course they weren't able to find the form

Negative experience: I love that it's 24 hours. PF dropped their 24 hours policy here so that's a good thing. However, my issues are as follows. I got a membership at MPower for the biking room. However,you can only use the biking room if you pay for a class or get the upper tier(elite) membership. Listen I'm from NJ. We had the Y, where 30 a month got you access to the basketball, tennis, swimming, cardio,weight room. Even better there was the NYSC franchise. 59 a month got you access to every gym in the tri State. But the general per gym fee of 30 got you access to the boxing room, biking room, aerobic/yoga room, as long as there were NO classes. To pay 30 here and then be told I cannot use the equipment is a joke. Trust your customers and give them access to the biking room, and I will fix this rating to coincide with a full review of the FULL gym

Fantastic experience: We love our dance classes with Michaela and the kids corner is absolutely wonderful. My guy was a little nervous at first but they are so patient and sweet and worked with him! Now he's making friends and playing on his own. We appreciate these ladies so much!

Negative experience: We have been members of empower fitness since 2016. Recently My husband and I were sarcastically kicked out of a Pilates class because of a discrepancy of a credit card payment. Only half we pay as rest is covered by insurance automatically!! We had no notice of a problem with the credit card and they wanted a three month payment for a 7 day late fee. Our letter to the owners brought NO response however we did get notice from the finance company that the monthly payment was due ONE WEEK AFTER we were kicked out and there was no mention of a late fee. BEWARE!!!!

Negative experience: I’ll start my review with the only positive thing about this gym which is the child care. This is the only reason I still go here and I can’t think of any other reason to sign up for this gym. Over the last year I’ve spent more time looking for matching weights and another gym with child care than I have training. The one area of the gym that does have matching weights is usually taken by some sort of class. The actual equipment and weights for someone that wants to lift is more of an after thought. So if you do come here expect it to be very disorganized and if you can bring your own weights and just use the barbells, bench, and squat rack here. Which oddly there is essentially one squat rack as the other 3 are in the room used mainly for classes that don’t use the squat racks. Edit: to respond to your comment about other gyms. I’d like to point out most other gyms have matching weights. This is the first one I’ve been to that looks like the weights were taken out of a lost and found box. Also it doesn’t matter what time you go to the gym the weights are always a disaster. I’ve seen employees not putting weights away or adding to the mess that is the weights

Negative experience: My wife and I joined for two months, cancelled, and after everything was said and done it cost us around $400 $78.58 to join $39.58 for the membership rate $39 to cancel Even though I was two days past renewal, they are still charging me another full month anyway just because. We literally went twice but they won't help you, they're just looking for your money. Just go to Planet Fitness or something, you could get eight months of a bigger gym for just their stupid fees.

Fantastic experience: Love this place!!! The kids corner is wonderful! They are great with my toddler and I trust them! I’m also a huge fan of Saturday yoga and Tuesday TRX classes!

Positive experience: Decent gym. Alot of outdated and damaged equipment. Most of the people in the morning seem to be there for socializing (heard very clearly over my noise canceling headphones) and the classes are hard to get into (the good ones anyway). Probably gonna cancel my memberships soon.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. One of the best iv seen. Only issue iv seen is they have signs reading "cameras are watching and a $25 fee for not reracking weights" and they obviously don't watch the cameras because there is always weights not reracked.

Fantastic experience: This gym is a wonderful facility. It’s clean, the classes they offer are fun and challenging, and the kids care area is top notch. The ladies in the nursery are kind and caring and know each of my kids by name. You really can’t find a better gym better in Palm Coast.

Fantastic experience: Lifetime member. Definitely the best gym in PC in my personal opinion of course. Great staff ( yes you Christine) and members. Free weights are sufficient and machines are good. Ample space for classes as well. If you have kiddos there is a spot for them too (for a fee I believe)

Negative experience: You guys need to fix this pos door opener machine you guys have installed for afterhours so sick and tired of coming to the gym and having to leave or wait for a member inside notice that you are standing outside or call the 844 number and go thru so much verification and wait time for them to unlock the door . 2 stars because over all the staff are nice and the place is clean small machines and not many choices but we know what we signing in for when we come to this gym

Fantastic experience: Mpower is awesome! There are so many great classes and amazing trainers. The kids corner staff is wonderful. It's so nice to be able to get a good workout in without having to worry about my kiddos. So grateful for this place.

Negative experience: I say this with respect but I think there are a handful of people who only come here for the kid zone. It’s the only gym with a kid zone in the area, so us parents are forced to use this gym. The women watching the kids are amazing but the gym itself isn’t really worth the money in my opinion. 1. At any point, you can watch people trying to find matching weights for their workouts because it’s so disorganized. 2. There are a lot of folks who don’t wipe their equipment down and while the staff can’t really monitor that, I think they could spot clean more frequently to make up for lazy members. 3. A handful of people will use 2-4 pieces of equipment/machines at once- even during peek hours- which makes everyone else wait for them to finish using everything. 4. It would be nice to have an actual dedicated stretching/body weight area because I know there are a lot of people that would like an area to do their own thing or who rely on an open space to stretch for physical therapy reasons- but the only area to do that is taken by small group classes sometimes. 5. In a perfect world where the gym was magically bigger, it would be nice to have a locker room- even a small one. I understand you can’t magically acquire a bigger space though. Nonetheless, I like the staff, so this isn’t against any of them but I do feel like if there was another gym within Palm Coast that also offered a kid zone, a lot of parents would switch gyms. Edit: I’m sorry you feel as though my review is going to negatively affect the people I complimented- I complimented the staff out of respect because I do think they are great people but that doesn’t mean that my opinion isn’t valid in terms of gym setup and my overall experience. My opinion is just that- an opinion through my experience at the gym and I know a handful of other gym members feel the same way. Also, you don’t need my name in order to take my opinion into consideration. Everything I said was with respect, I genuinely want to keep going to this gym, so it disheartens me that your response was more defensive than trying to understand where I’m coming from.

They offer a wide variety of classes, from dance to weights, yoga, and pilates and zoomba and so much more!!. State of the art equipment too. So come in and make some friends. This place is a game changer!Excellent trainers!!

Negative experience: Heres my problems with it. 1.) The only thing this gym had to clean the equipment was rags that kept getting reused by everyone. So essentially you and dozens of other people just keep wiping your sweat onto the equipment. 2.) Super disorganized, There are crates full of equipment piled high in the corner by the cardio/ barely any weight plate racks and the plates themselves are old rusty metal mixed with rubber ones.They are scattered randomly throughout the gym. 3.) Smelled pretty bad in there. Not sure if it was the sweat buildup from everyone or just lack of cleaner being used but it was pretty rough smelling. 4.) I have active n fit and the front desk lady was very kind but I dont think had full training on how to put me into the system. I did see the owner reads these which I think is pretty cool. If you do read this owner some thoughts I had to improve it. 1.)Get paper towels and cheap paper towel holders to attach to the walls instead of rags. That'll cut down on sweat sharing between guest/ cut down on sweat smell and maybe use better scented cleaner. 2.)Standardize the equipment, make everything the rubber plates to avoid the rusting and add plate racks to keep it organized throughout. Get rid of the old equipment. 3.)Maybe have employees go around cleaning equipment themselves every hour, I have seen a lot of gyms prioritize that. 4.) Some more training for staff on the new active n fit sign in. This wont be my gym but hopefully this helps, I know theres a lot of out of state people moving here and they'll be having pretty similar standards. Best of luck to y'all.

Fantastic experience: I love working out here! The people who run it are not satisfied to rest on their laurels, instead, they are constantly looking for ways to improve the gym. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The place is clean and well laid out. It's just a great gym!

Negative experience: I give no stars unfortunately I’m forced to give one. My daughter and I went to the gym to take class. We were turned away by the two front desk ladies. One turned her nose up the other was loud saying nope we won’t have enough time to sign you up and take your money. I have gone to other gyms and have never been turned away because we didn’t have a membership. Unfortunately they lost 5 memberships. It may not affect them at all and not care but I care. We just moved here from another state and this was the worst embarrassing first impression of palm coast. How can they fix the issue , talk to the ladies and make sure they are not rude and be a tad more discreet when speaking with potential clients. Even having the drop in sign a waiver then talk after class. I’ve been in the fitness and dance industry for over 20 years and that’s how we did it. Not turn them away at the door. No star for lack of professionalism. Wish them the best but we will not be returning. Location Palm Coast Fl.

I've also been doing personal training with David Paul. He has helped me change my shape, strengthened my muscles and my doctor tells me, that he's keeping me out of a wheel chair!!! MPower Fitness is The Place for excellence!!!

Positive experience: Enjoyed the gym experience here but I’m disappointed in the cancellation process. They charge expensive cancellation fees that were more than my monthly membership which makes no sense to me. It’s too bad. Probably would not sign up again. Thanks Mpower Fitness.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this gym for the last 2 years plus. The entire staff has been absolutely amazing. My personal trainer Rachel has helped me get rid of my lazy dad bod. Not only is this gym has access 24/7 but classes for everyone's needs. They have been going above and beyond to make sure everything and everyone stays safe and continue attending this gym. If it wasn't for this gym and there amazing and friendly staff I probably would be extremely unhealthy and lazy. They showed me and helped me made amazing progress and will never stop going there.

Fantastic experience: I this gym so much! After experiencing other gyms in the county Mpower is the best fit hands down! They have childcare and they have more classes than any other gym around. The instructors and the trainers are so good at what they do and you can tell they love what they are doing!

There's a wide variety of classes that other places can't offer, the desk staff is so friendly and helpful when I need it It seems like there is something for every type of workout. I also see staff cleaning and disinfecting which makes me feel even better about coming here!

Negative experience: The PT session was great. I paid for 3 mos PT training that ended in March and learned the gym was also charging me a fee for use of facility-,ok fine BUT they kept charging me to date even though I am not a member and wasn’t allowed access after March since no PT scheduled. Was told sorry no way to refund fees ATF but made sure it was no longer being charged. Personally find it bad business practice - so just heads up if you do PT as a nonmember. The PT was great but their busn policies are bad.

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing gym! First of all they are clean. Everytime I go someone is always cleaning. The staff greets you with a smile and is very helpful with checking into classes or group sessions. I love small group!!! They are also the only gym to offer childcare. The workers in the kids corner are so sweet and kind too.

Negative experience: If I could rate this place less than a star I would. I haven’t even stepped foot in the building but what I can tell you is that if you ever have a problem with this place and choose to express that online, they will literally retaliate instead of trying to fix their screw up. I witnessed multiple employees berate and belittle a friend/former customer after he voiced his frustration on Facebook. They then CANCELED his membership. I am dumbfounded.

Negative experience: Initially I enjoyed the place. And as long as you do not have a billing question or want to cancel, then they are great. You will have to jump through hoops and have little to communication from them. Feel free to read through any of their responses that do not praise them (like the one just below me) and you will see why I rated a 2 for not professional and poor communication. MPOWER please do not feel the need to respond to this, we both know you have m email address and I have a lack of understanding for your curt responses.

Positive experience: During this difficult time where this fitness center asked we support them during the shutdown during this pandemic we continued to pay $55.05 every month. Now that we want to cancel I will be charged an additional $55.05. Due to these restrictions wearing a mask and doing cardio workouts restrict breathing and now creating a greater health concern. Please take notice billing goes through a third party which is ABC Financial. When you want to discuss an issue regarding this you have to talk to gym. These people are just to collect the money and how they do it they do not care. Felt like I was a ping pong ball that I need to call here and call there to simply cancel and give a written notice. Best of luck to rest that remain at this location.

You won’t find a cleaner gym. The owners are very humble and give back to the community any way they can. Support a small locally owned business!

Negative experience: Poor customer service!

Negative experience: Make sure understand what it takes to cancel membership. I have never been to a gym that makes you can the 3rd party company to cancel membership. It's unfortunate the customer care do not work well in that area. I got charged twice the same fee when I have called to cancel my membership. They don't seem to care as long as they get their money.

Negative experience: I was visiting the area on vacation. Called to verify the price for a weekly membership prior to getting a ride over. Upon arrival was told that "I didn't talk to them" and the price was nearly double. I showed them the number I called to make sure it was correct. It was but they asked who I talked to I was unsure and didn't get a name. I was told basically they were the only one there so thats the price. Response to owners comments: I understand that retraining is required for your staff. In particular the employee at the front desk. The attitude in which I received was unprofessional. If I can show you a phone log of an over 3 minutes call to your business number this should be "proof of speaking with someone at your business ". It is not my responsibility to know who answers your phones and that they give out the wrong information. To say me giving an honest review of a business is hurt small business is ridiculous poor customer service is hurting your small business.

Negative experience: UPDATE; as you can see by their snarky and rude comments, I did not sign a 30 dollar cancellation fee. I signed a 15 dollar cancellation fee because I have membership with my health insurance, however they are still trying to charge 30 dollars. Beware of this gym. I only tried to cancel my childcare and class fee. I also contacted their financial management over FOUR times now.

Fantastic experience: I moved to Palm Coast last August and joined M Power Fitness soon after I got here. It's the cleanest gym I've ever gone to. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. They have group classes and offer individual workout programs. I'm writing this review during the current Covid 19 time frame. This week the gym reopened and It's even cleaner than it was before. They're at a 50% capacity as required by the governor. Social distancing has been implemented and they're doing everything in their power to make this a safe experience. I highly recommend this facility from my personal observations and experiences. I'm 65 and it's the best gym I've ever been to for what I need to stay fit.

Negative experience: Liar. Such a poor behavior. They want to have my wife drive 300 miles to cancel their useless membership and keep saying they wouldn't accept a cancellation via email. Funny is, that I cancelled via email and they accepted. So if you such a shady business that you have to lie, hoping people wouldn't be able to cancel, the at least get your story straight. Hahahah, did you see their response, so they really don't care and apparently can't read. They accept a cancellation via email and from another one they want them to drive 300 miles. But surprise, we cancelled through our insurance, it states clear that we can do that, if you want I can send you their 300 pages fine print hahaha

Fantastic experience: Worked out here for a weekend visiting my buddy, could sworn I saw Mcadoo deadlifting 405... Great gym though super clean great staff, good ambiance.

Negative experience: The sign up process was easy, and it was nice while working out when it was slow. It’s smaller than the gym I used to go to before I moved here to Palm Coast. The staff, is okay. I’ve met more professional, informative and willing to be more helpful. Furthermore, now this year, with my insurance you have to pay an additional $15 a month for kids care along with classes. Which I wasn’t personally interested in the classes. Just wanted to use the equipment but I have a toddler and no family near. Seems like this year this gym wants to make more money and not look out for their members with kids. Other gyms have been much better than this service, and kids care is included with their gym rider.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Mpower since they started in 2016. Before that it was Atlantic fitness since 2010. Mpower is large and clean with every equipment you can imagine. They offer a lot of classes for every fitness level. I like the group classes so this gym suits me well. What keeps me coming back are the good friends I've made and the great classes and instructors. But of course we all have our favorites. My favorite is Michaela. I love all her classes from Zumba, trx, barre, stretch etc... Her classes tell it all you as they are always full. She is definately a key instructor at Mpower as she has a lot of followers like me. She has been my faithful instructor for 10 years now. There are other great instructors too. But to me she is an an exceptional gifted talented instructor. I like her techniques. I highly recommend her. She is amazing. I thank Mpower, all the members and instructors for their contributions in making a great gym happen.

Negative experience: Better options in Palm Coast.

Positive experience: Best gym in Palm Coast by far. Friendly and competent staff. Personal trainers on site. Their bread and butter business is their large selection of fitness classes. This is not a hard core body builder gym. I'd guess that 90%+ of the membership comes for the classes. Peak hours Mon-Fri 9-12. If you want to work out and use the free weights, benches, bars, etc. come mid afternoon. Small free weight areas spread over 2 locations. Too few benches. Unfortunately the free weight/bench areas are often monopolized by a few members who will lay claim to several benches during their workouts. As they jump back and forth between a flat bench, incline bench, etc. Come at off hours to avoid this. Typical mix of Cybex machines. Very nice spin bike studio. Good selection of treadmills and elipiticals along with recumbent and upright bikes. Low ceilings give the room a musty smell during periods of hot weather or when the gym is crowded.

Fantastic experience: I had a personal trainer named Melissa. I really did not feel comfortable going to a gym bc I was nervous. First 15 minutes I was in there everyone in the gym was saying “Hell yea kid keep going”. Fantastic experience: I'm glad I decided to try MPower. I like the structure the classes offer. I was exactly what I needed to get back into a routine. I love Jessie's classes. As a beginner I feel comfortable in class as she is there to guide through all so I do it corectly, and I feel as a beginner I can grow with the class it fits all of us up to advanced simultaneously. I wish I could have her monday Wednesday and fridays!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this gym! There are so many classes available and I have really enjoyed them all. Childcare is included with the membership which is a HUGE plus! We love Miss Anna in the kids' room. :)
