Negative experience: Urgent care said that could not help me with my migraine even though it says on their website that they treat migraines. They directed me to the emergency room where I had to wait 5 hours in pain when I could’ve been seen by Urgent Care much earlier. I used their “on my way” system and showed up early because it said to see the front desk if pain worsens - which it did. Left sobbing and feeling hopeless. Long wait times. My main provider through Allina is great though. Would recommend for non-urgent visits, but was severely disappointed by my urgent care visit.

Negative experience: Disappointed. I had to drive 20 minutes for appointment this morning @7:25am. When I was booking the appointment, I had requested a specific clinic and a specific person to talk to about my concerns. We agreed on that and the appointment was scheduled. I so eager for this day and morning. Unfortunately the receiving nurse said that is not her area of specialization and the funny thing is she said I know you are here for “ this issue”. She knew i was coming for this and now that is not her area of expertise. I’m confused. My question is why should the clinic book an appointment that they know they can’t handle and why should someone be sent to me , who is not well versed with the issue I need to discuss. It’s very unfortunate. Wasted my time , energy and i had to be off duty today purposely for this visit. I’m so disappointed. Very much disappointed.

Positive experience: My appointment was with Dr Kazemi in Dermatology. This was my first appointment with her. I had a very short wait before I was called into the office. The nurse, Becca, was very friendly and efficient; and it was only another short wait until the doctor came in. Dr Kazemi was brisk, efficient, professional and thorough; and she answered all my questions. I left with printed instructions for home care, including specific products to use~very helpful considering the ground we had covered.

Negative experience: The lab staff at the Allina clinic was heard complaining, saying they were overworked, seemed disorganized, talked about someone being fired, and overall very unprofessional. The lab could not do all my labs so I need to go somewhere else to do it! The front desk person Gene though was amazing and friendly. The CMA Sydney was so kind and professional. Dr. Siy was her usually caring and informative self.

Fantastic experience: Clinic is professional, doctors are attentive and *really* care. If you end up waiting a little for your appt, it is because they spend time truly listening and doing something about patient problems!

Negative experience: This Allina Health Clinic/ Urgent care in Edina of 7373 France Ave has very attitude stuff, they are not treating the visiting patients properly, they're not a qualified stuff, a young lady sit left side ofthe front desk unprofessional plus one the nurses she asked questions about my seen are attitudes and poor professionalism. I warn you please not to visit if you need Urgent care.

Fantastic experience: excellent facility in edina mn. my dr and nursing asst were excellent. unfortunately i was measured wrong in my heith i am 6'5" the measuring stick on the wall is inaccurate and i proved that, all my medical records have my 6'5" heith yet now i 5'11!!! which is stupid, its not the nurses fault at all. the receptionist had him do my heith again on the same dame stick wich she didnt listen to me it pissed me off clearly i towered over all the patients that day! other than that i higly recommend this facility,the staff is incredible and i have a great dr.

They were both kind, relatable, & compassionate. Highly recommend the facility and this provider. I’m definitely going back and will retain Samantha as my PCP!!

Fantastic experience: I was able to get in the same day to switch my primary care provider, schedule physicals and specialist appointments. My provider made sure I had the meds I needed and listened to my concerns. She also took care of a cosmetic problem I had and made everything so easy!

Positive experience: Allina Health Clinics are a hit or miss situation. I noticed tho that the good doctors and good nurses are leaving at a rapid pace. I don't know why. Maybe they aren't getting paid enough? Not sure. But these new doctors and nurses coming in lack compassion for their patients and understanding. They also don't listen. I especially don't trust this clinics urgent care at all. The doctors at this urgent care make me very upset . But my doctor at this clinic is one of the best and really should get a raise and recognized! She is very lovely, compassionate, and willing to hear you out. Her name is Dr. Loeding! I highly recommend her! She was one of the few doctors who actually listens to me and found out back in 2020, I had thyroid cancer. After 4 years of being medically gaslighted and neglected by multiple doctors, she was my last hope and thankfully took all my concerns, seriously. But this last visit I was at, her new nurse, kinda made me mad. But I'm used to this kind of ignorance amongst medical professionals and I do understand this nurse was completely new and I hope she takes this as a lesson if anything. When I showed up to my appointment to get blood work done with that I need for my ongoing chronic illnesses going on, she blamed my fatigue issues on my mental health stuff and accused my weight loss, loss of appetite, fatigue, etc on anorexia, when I don't have that issue. I explained to her that I have those issues because of my physical disabilities (especially because of my teeth and jaw issues due to past cancer treatments and a genetic condition I have). I also explained to her I have multiple chronic illnesses that are causing my fatigue. She could've easily pulled up my chart and realized that. Plus I was there to get blood work done with to monitor my chronic illnesses I have been struggling with. And while, yes, mental health issues can cause physical problems, they can't cause a lot of abnormal blood work to appear. I don't want this nurse to get in any trouble tho. I want this to be a learning curb for them. We need more compassion and support when it comes to our doctors in general. This is unfortunately a problem I noticed with Allina Health Clinics and other medical places. And this is dangerous because people don't feel heard and end up stop going to receive help or end up dead because doctors refuse to test them and blame it all on mental health. Something needs to change. But overall my experience has been decent at Allina Health when it comes to seeing my doctor over other doctors who work there. I will only recommend this place because of my doctor so if u are looking for a doctor who will listen to you, Dr. Loeding is the best doctor they have there and she definitely deserves an award or something. She's definitely in this field for the right reasons. I give this clinic a 3.5/5 stars. Richfield location however is a 2/5.

Fantastic experience: I almost hesitate to write this because then everyone will want to see these providers lol! All of the nurses and providers are so great. My primary provider, Makayla Mitchell is OUTSTANDING. 11/10 for this provider. I've never had a provider that I felt so comfortable with on the first visit. From that moment, I wanted her to be my primary going forward. She is SO personable, genuine, and compassionate. This provider will definitely end up being booked out for months at some point, I just know it. Huge shout out to Dr. Kern as well(although she's at a different location). She has been INCREDIBLE. I had a first time in my life procedure and she made it a breeze every step of the way. I will be seeing her again as well. Thank you all! The last year or so has been the best experiences I have ever had through Allina. Even when calling in, the staff is SO great. Extremely fast results when sending in a medical message as well.

Fantastic experience: It has always been a predictable positive experience from check-in through the basics of Height/weight before going into the exam room; then BP is taken by a nurse or staff person who may also ask what the subject of my appointment is from my standpoint. Shortly after that the doctor arrives in the room, and already knows (from the notes, I presume) what brought me in on that day. No time is wasted -EVER!!!! All staff and physicians are excellent and thorough in gathering new pertinent information. I am cared for by every person with whom I have had contact in very professional manner! Fantastic experience: My primary care physician is Dr. Stephanie Larson. She is awesome! She is very thorough, reviews all tests/results with me and is quick to provide an explanation on My Chart. She listens to my concerns, answers all my questions, and provides helpful feedback and referrals if warranted. (I ask a lot of questions, Lol) I am 61 years old and have been her patient for 5+ years. I never feel rushed, and she always has a pleasant disposition. She is absolutely the best and my favorite doctor ever!!!

Positive experience: I love my doctor and the staff---however when I tried to get my test results from your stupid Allina health account, you didn't like my password or user name-- which I then changed , doing what you asked. You didn't like that either. So screw this. I'm going to guess that I'm probably ok. You may think you're being protective, but actually just annoying!!

Negative experience: Unethical billing practices such as the ones this office takes part in are why people hate going to the doctor for the giant surprise you get after. If you choose to go, keep your mouth shut because they’re just listening to see how many codes they can tack on. They billed nearly $1,000 for an annual physical due to a brief conversation about a sore foot. They may call it split billing but realistically it’s double billing if you’re charging the full price of 2 office visits for a brief conversation about anything they deem outside the scope of a physical. You’ll continue to lose long term patients by surprise billing.

Negative experience: They did unnecessary blood work. I just had it done at another office. I signed a form to have those results sent to them. But they did the blood work anyway. I did have to have one thing checked, which was fine. But they did a lot more that that. We'll see it's it shows up on my bill. I'm not paying for it. I'm seeing another Dr in regards to HRT. This Dr I'm seeing at Allina had no interest in asking any questions even though she is supposed to be my Primary Physician. I'm thinking I need to go somewhere else. Somewhere where they want to know everything I'm dealing with. She also had me change into my gown while she was in the room. She asked if it was ok. What am I going to say, No? I mean really what difference does it make she's going to see me anyway but it just seems a bit odd. It did save us time so it kind of makes sense. Just not sure if that's the new thing since I was there a year ago.

I am very used to doctors who don’t listen or who are just rude or brush me off, but Dr. Rhode listened and treated my concerns with kindness and professionalism. Fantastic experience: Have had good experiences here so far (I used to go to the Hopkins clinic before it sadly closed). The parking lot can be a little hectic coming in/out but there is enough space. It’s kind of nice there’s an adjoining urgent care but you’d never know that from the primary clinic, it’s a much calmer vibe in there. Staff/professionals here are great and I so appreciate all they do. I especially can’t say enough great things about Dr. Cozad. I have never once felt rushed by her and she takes the time to listen, explain things, and answer my questions so that I feel like I am (in a small way) helping weigh in on decisions. But, she absolutely knows her stuff and her expert judgment is very reassuring! She and her team deserve all the appreciation and kudos. Allina admins—please give ‘em a raise for a job well done.

Negative experience: My partner is a queer person of color- she was seen by Dr. Daniel Smith today and he talked OVER her and did not listen to what she had to say. He ordered tests that had already been done on our previous visit. He made my partner uncomfortable and we left without any care. Not to mention the staff was eating and laughing and being unprofessional. We really just want to be taken seriously, and to get medical CARE.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this clinic for many many years. I have always been very happy and satisfied with the service I get. The staff has always been really nice and helpful. I started going to this Clinic because I worked close to it and now many many years later I do not work close anymore but I still go to the clinic because I am so happy with my doctor. She remembers things from my past visits, she listens to , she explains things to me in a way that I understand. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I chose this clinic to start new patient care for my 80 year old mother based on proximity to her home, ease in scheduling and ratings found on website. The staff were efficient and friendly and her doctor really took the time to hear my mother's concerns and mine as well, and then told us, based on my mother's medical history her own concerns. She made a plan for some extra support in needed areas and we were so pleased with the whole experience.

Negative experience: I went to this clinic the second week of November 2023. My youngest daughter 2 years old had cold symptoms but, after that she had an unusual rash. I thought it was chicken pox. Talking with my cousin a nurse student symptoms and the rash starts spreading to mouth, legs. She told me it is the hand, mouth and foot deseas and it is contagious. Long story short my second kid wake up next day with the same thing plus fiber and some cough. I was with some symptoms too. When arrive at the clinic at 12:00am the waiting time they told me was until 2:00 pm with just 4 patients in-front of me. I wasn’t seen until 3:45 to wait at the room around 40 more minutes. They just acted through the assumption that we all have COVID and prescribed a COVID test and that was it. Didn’t even tell me what can be the cause of the rash and what l should do. While taking COVID test the nurse yielded to my 8 years old because he tried to comfort his sister but because he was scared during his own the nurse took the attribution to yield at him and quiet him. I was sending home with no answers either solution at all when l ask for for doctor to come to give me some advise the nurse was rude and she gave a bad attitude. 3 consultation were charged for less than 10 minutes with the doctor. I ask from the begging for a note for my son to present this to the school. By the end l have to beg for it and they wrote 2 lines just with the day we were there and excusing my son until certain day but giving no reason at all. Lazy shameful peace of paper toilet. Do better people you just care about money and you can be sending people to die with no regret.

Fantastic experience: Allina Health is one of the best hospitals, health cares in my opinion!!!

Negative experience: Very frustrating that there is a paywall for literally every communication with provider. Messaging system is entirely useless - every question and update for the doctor gets a reply to make another appointment. Makes managing chronic conditions impossible and erases any doubt Allina cares for profits far more than patients.
