Fantastic experience: Swendsen Chiropractic has been amazing for me and my family for years now. I'm in my 50s and do weights and cardio every single day, 7 days a week. Dr. J and Dr. T have done wonders for me - not only by keeping me aligned, but also with acute injuries from "overdoing it" - including shoulders, forearms, hips, and knees. The doctors are friendly and listen attentively to what I need. I appreciate that they don't waste my time and merely go through the motions, but really hone in on the specific parts of my body that are out of alignment or require some additional pre-adjustment care before they try to align me. They'll also try different techniques to align me if their standard techniques are not working at that moment. I honestly can say I've recommended them to others and have zero hesitation recommending them to anyone -- 10 out of 10. Thank you Docs!! You've helped me so much!!

Fantastic experience: I had a back injury that left me with pain and physical therapy couldn’t help me anymore and steroids shots were my only chance for being pain free for s short time. I had to give up my passion, which it is my vegetable garden. I came to the clinic as my last hope and it changed my life for the better. I came once a week and then once a month and now I come back for adjustments if I overdo. I am 100% back to my activities, I can walk for miles, work on my garden and enjoying my life to the fullest! Fantastic experience: I moved to the Puyallup area 2.5 years ago. I had a great chiropractor before I moved and was hoping to find one here. My back can be a bit tricky to adjust. I tried four different, well-reviewed doctors and none of them were able to reliably get my low back stabilized. So I gave up for about 2 years. But I was finally in so much pain, I decided to try again, and I'm so glad I did! I found Dr. J at Swendsen Chiro. The very first adjustment freed things up so much I felt a wash of cool tingles all the way down my leg (release of pressure on the nerve) and a total absence of the chronic pain I'd had since I moved here. Not surprisingly given my issues, it's taken about 2 months to start to feel stable again, but each adjustment gives me relief, and helps me go a little longer between visits. For the past week my back has been better than I can remember for a long time. I hear Dr. Todd, his brother, is very good, too, but I haven't seen him yet. The atmosphere is upbeat and friendly. I'm a cash-pay client and the cost is very reasonable. The staff are wonderful and caring. I even got a massage from Lindsey which was really great. Take it from me, save yourself some trial and error, and just start with these guys. You will be so glad you did.

Fantastic experience: Swendsen has been nothing short of amazing! The practice is family owned and their staff is incredibly friendly and kind. They offer chiropractic treatment as well as massage, which is nice to have both options in the same office. Plus, their office is always so clean and tidy. They are a well oiled machine of getting patients in, out, and on their way. I’ve never had long wait times to see the doctors, unlike other medical offices. My husband and I both started visiting Swendsen and within the first visit we both felt immediate relief in the pain and severity of our symptoms. Within a matter of weeks I am no longer suffering from sciatic pain and my neck and shoulders feel better than they have in ages. If you are looking for a chiropractic clinic, call Swendsen. I've seldom worked with a nicer doctor's office staff. They are efficient, friendly and flexible to work with, especially given our erratic transportation resources.

Fantastic experience: I have suffered from chronic migraines for 25 years with every trigger in the book. Going to a chiropractor was one of the only things I refused to try because I was terrified - even as a collegiate rugby player. Scared of being hurt by a neck adjustment and scared of someone trying to instantly cure me and setting off a 10 day long migraine (as acupuncture did, unfortunately). At age 37, I woke up with blinding pain in my shoulder and couldn’t pick up my baby. I came in, same day, to Swendsen. Dr J and Dr Todd are incredibly patient, they listen, they never force you or your body into an uncomfortable situation. They have made my life significantly better. I wish I’d met them years ago. I’d recommend Swendsen (and have) to anybody I know who suffers from chronic pain or injury. These men are pros who truly care about their clients.

Fantastic experience: So far so good! Honestly came in because my hip and shoulder were hurting from a fall and sleep long situation. After a month of DR J's plan I feel amazing! I have been sleeping better, enjoying a lot more activities outside and it's been a lot easier carrying my toddler around!

The brothers here have been so empathetic, validating, and willing to help me in every way they can. Fantastic experience: Great place. Been going here for a couples years. When in because I under went a surgery and being bed ridden for almost 2 weeks. I was needing some help. I kept waking up in pain, I couldn't walk every well and everyday things were so difficult and exhausting. After a couple of visits, I started being able to sleep without any pain. Everyday things started getting easier and easier. I returned to work without any problems. I still go in about every 2 weeks. They are the best, flexible scheduling and great staff! I was able to get in and be seen on their recommended schedule and went 2 years without needing to return. Fantastic experience: 44 years old and never been to a chiropractor. Tweaked my neck/back/ shoulder playing basketball with my nephew (who is 15! Lol). Pinched nerve, had numbness all the way down my left arm to my fingertips! I was pretty freaked out. Swendsen was highly recommended by one of my coworkers so I went in. It took about two months of treatment, but slowly the guys got me back to normal. I was very happy with the whole staff, and especially the professionalism. They will definitely continue to be my only option for a chiropractor as I continue to stay athletic at my age lol

Fantastic experience: A few months ago I had a fall after mopping which caused my low back to give out completely. I called the office and was advised to get in for treatment. I was met with an employee with a wheelchair as I could not walk, then after 2 weeks of treatment I felt 100% better!!!! These doctors and really amazing and take time to really help each patient and their specific needs!!! The staff always goes above and beyond and I would recommend this clinic to anyone I know I need of spine care!

Fantastic experience: Having already reviewed the chiropractic aspect of this practice—which is excellent—I wanted to add one for their massage. I recently began seeing Maria for significant pain in my low back and pelvis. Of the massage therapists I’ve seen elsewhere, she is by far the most anatomically knowledgeable, and can explain to you where inflammation and tension are held (specifically), and why. She balances structural and corrective insight, however, with a rare receptivity and motherly energy. If you choose to see Maria, you will walk away feeling relaxed and reassured that she has your best interests in mind.

Fantastic experience: I was in an auto accident back in 1975 before Chiropractic care was even thought of or accepted as a treatment for the injuries I have had to deal with. But I was introduced to Chiropractic care in the 80's by a co-worker knowing the pain I was constantly in. I then moved away from the Chiropractor I was receiving care from and started being seen at Swendsen Chiropractic since mid 1990's. I lead a active life and they have been instrumental in keeping me moving with far less pain. Thank you!
