Positive experience: I have mixed feelings. While I have had great experiences with the doctors and staff at the front desk, the pharmacy needs some work. Unless you are sitting right there for 15 plus minutes, don't expect your prescriptions to be filled in less than 5 days.

Negative experience: Horrible doctors and prescriptions take forever to get filled and sent to pharmacies I would never come here and the fact you know the prescription needed is urgent and still haven't filled it is a big ol problem I wouldn't trust this doctor with a healthy middle aged man let alone any other person God damn

Fantastic experience: I am very grateful for this health option. I have been seeing Dr. Clarissa Carson at the Medford office for sometime now. She is amazing so down to earth and so easy to talk to! She listens to everything and will find a solution. I am so thankful for her, I only wish that she would do podcasts because she would be so beneficial to so many people. She is amazing you Have any mental health questions or problems? She is willing to help and is the very best that I have been to and I’ve been to a lot. Kudos to her give her a try you won’t be sorry!!
Negative experience: Tried calling today to reschedule an appointment. I got an immediate "your call can not be completed as the party you are calling is not accepting calls from you". Never have I ran into this issue so it's a bit strange it doesn't allow me to leave a voicemail??

Negative experience: The staff is wonderful but it takes weeks to get an appointment unless you call every morning and compete with other patients for a same day appointment. Kinda like the HungerGames of health care. Very demeaning.

Negative experience: My toddler has been a patient at Rogue Community Health for a year and a half and, yet again, she is having an acute issue that requires medical care and I have not been able to get in contact with her pediatrician, anyone in her office, or anyone in the appointments call center. Every single time I have scheduled an appointment for her through the call center, someone called me 2-3 days before the appointment to reschedule because whoever I had spoken with before (a different employee in every instance) had scheduled the wrong type of appointment (after I had made arrangements with my job to be able to take her). My daughter's well child checks from 4 months until now (she is currently 21 months old) have been pushed out by over a month because the office either ran out of the vaccines she needed, or because they were incapable of scheduling the correct type of appointment several times in a row. I have had MAs miss when giving her an immunization and give me incorrect information about immunizations. Whenever I have had a question or needed to take my daughter in, I have had to send MyChart messages and leave voicemails with the call center and Dr. Balestreri's office (we previously saw Dr. Pippin, who left abruptly without informing patients) on a daily basis for about a week before receiving any kind of response. It is rare that someone answers the phone at all. I have taken my daughter to urgent care on several occasions so that she could receive the care she needs in a timely manner, but for certain issues she needs to be seen by a pediatrician. If you are considering establishing care with Rogue Community Health, I would absolutely advise against it because if you need an appointment, medical advice, or help of any kind, you're on your own and it is incredibly difficult to get anyone's attention, let alone to set up the right kind of appointment and receive care. The way this organization is run is completely ineffective and honestly negligent.

Negative experience: Have been waiting 3 weeks to get them to send the correct diagnosis code for a referral to a cardiologist. This is also preventing an elderly man from getting his hip replacement surgery. They sent the wrong code and then had a clueless nurse calling me to argue and talk over me. She rambles on and on and won’t shut her mouth for 2 seconds and listen. She told me I was wrong about them needing the correct diagnosis code and that they did not send the paperwork at all and then resent the paperwork with the wrong code. Told them I don’t want to deal with her again and then she called me back today to ramble on and on some more and make excuses for why this isn’t getting done and literally would not acknowledge that I already called Rogue and left them with the phone number to the person at Asante who claims the code is wrong. Zero accountability, it was all someone else’s fault of course. Then instead of acknowledging that they received this message from me she said she got the number from someone at rogue?? Total narcissistic person who doesn’t listen or even an acknowledge what you say. Talks to you as if you should have medical training and know the names of the tests and the depts at hospitals.
Negative experience: This is the most incompetent Doctor's office I've ever been to. 3 times they messed up on writing a script and i went days without meds. The office manager does not follow threw with fixing the problem. They have told me i filled out paperwork wrong when really they didnt put it in the computer right. I dont think i have even had one appointment where the things they said they where going to order actually got done.... if you have an actual medical issue this is not the office got you

Fantastic experience: I couldn't be happier with choosing Rouge Community Health for my medical home. They listen, they care and I get good results. I access medical, dental, labs, counceling, nutrition advice, and pharmacy all in one medical clinic complex. Their wait list is shorter than many other places in the area. I have been seen in Medford, Ashland, and White City by wonderful staff and providers in each location. I am especially grateful for the same day virtual visit i had yesterday for Covid complications. The provider was spot on, I feel so much better already. Thank you.

Negative experience: Previously favorable comments submitted by staff. I have gone to this clinic for over twelve years-they are hiring women from other areas - and they are challenged by standard business practices-never at any time as this clinic functioned in a professional manner, I beg senators Whyden and Merkley to replace this facility with one that actually works-these girls don’t want to work in an office-they want to run a pod cast.
Negative experience: I have never been sent to the wrong building or had appt’s lost at any other medical facility as much as this place. As an example, today the call center directed me to a clinic pharmacy to get an vaccination for our child. They said “you can just do a walk in for anyone over 7.” When we got there the pharmacy staff said they could not bill for children. I went to the medical side to re-ask where I was supposed to get the shot and they said they could make appt for two weeks out…. What? for a two minute visit? Your supposed to get vaccinated before the end of October, but he had a cold. Now you want him to wait until December? That’s such horrible care. I think even Albertsons has a drop in service, but this organization can’t figure it out? Our guy has autism and it’s an event to get him out the door. He doesn’t do well when we tell him we’re going to do something then reverse it, so today he became upset and had a total meltdown when we just had to leave without seeing anyone. Oh… and they said the pharmacy was in the same building as his Dr, and it’s not, it’s over a mile away. This is about the 5th time this year that I was given incorrect information that resulted in showing up and being sent away with no treatment/help, and with kid in tow. They set him up for a dentist that didn’t take his dental plan (after asking which one he had). We waited like 3 months to get in and then had to start all over and wait months more. They sent me to the wrong address twice, they even sent me to an office that was closed once. They really need to get it together. They don’t give us a direct number to his pediatrician, but an 800 # that makes you navigate through a long phone tree then hold for an operator who has no connection to our provider or knowledge of pediatrics. When I leave messages for dental I can’t get a call back, I have to go in just to get simple things like a copy of records. I have private insurance and get SO MUCH better treatment than he does. It’s so sad. They treat him like he doesn’t matter because he’s just another poor kid, and our time doesn’t matter, and come off like we should be lucky to be herded through their inadequate system. If you can go somewhere else, do.

Negative experience: It seems that I have the same complaints as everyone else, the sad thing is that I could have gotten MORE medical professionalism out of the EMT students,I taught years ago! The best thing that could happen to this place is for it to be looked at real close by the State of Oregon medical board!
Negative experience: The worst. The let me go days without my insulin my doctor is never there and they never are able to help. Terrible facility
Negative experience: Waited 3 months! for an appointment they rescheduled because doc wasn't in that day, for another 3 months! then called again the day of the appointment and rescheduled for another 4 months for the same reason that's 10 months for an appointment ! and they will probably just reschedule again...
Negative experience: Sorry, you're actions caused me to quit your services, very unprofessional, employee turnover is an issue. And you canceled on me hours before my appointment before last. You charged me 28.00 for the first visit to remove 2 teeth, then 470.00 to remove the next 2, which was supposed to be 4, but someone changed their mind during procedure. Left the 2 that hurt, and took the two I used to eat with. Made living miserable.
Negative experience: Man. If you like waiting around, being forgotten, and being unable to fill your prescriptions, this is the place for you! I've been trying to get an inhaler for days, talked to doctors and care staff and mostly they seem annoyed. I have been a patient there for almost three years. Trust me, if I had the choice I wouldn't have asthma and wouldn't need an inhaler. That would be so easy. But since that's not realistic, maybe I could just have unlimited refills on a rescue inhaler. Save your money, go somewhere else.

Negative experience: I’m beyond sick of this place. You can’t get an appointment for over a month unless it’s a same day appointment, and when you call for a same day appointment there’s always an issue and they will “call you back”. The staff is rude and clueless, and they don’t seem like they care at all about what their job entails. Will be switching to providence since they can’t seem to get their stuff together, and I had to go to 2 different clinics to get what I needed done. They seemed to be able to handle it with no issues, so why can’t rogue community health?

Fantastic experience: I have always found the Staff, from the Front Desk to the Nursing and Medical Providers to be caring, compassionate and thoroughly professional people. I can't recommend them more highly!
Negative experience: Waited months for an appt so it would be an in person visit. They called an hour before my appt time to say they have to reschedule and then tried scheduling a virtual visit. And then when i asked for an explanation they gave me a run around of phone call transfers and sent me to voicemail. And never returned my call... Trash

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Rogue Community Health in Medford, White City and Ashland over the past 21 years. I have excellent insurance and could literally go anywhere I want for my medical care. A few years ago my favorite provider at RCHC went and joined Asante Family Medicine, first on Black Oak, then Murphy Rd and finally in Talent, but during COVID he left medicine altogether and I was left with the poorest care I have ever received. Now, I am back, I have always loved RCHC and I have a new provider who is personable and very thorough, Cecilea Hoering, FNP is awesome! Both my husband and I are seeing her and we look forward to see her for years to come.

Positive experience: i’ve been trying to get an appointment for the past four months. i’ve been rescheduled three times and i was just told my provider wouldn’t be in again. i called and talked about the fact that i was actively suicidal and they called the sheriff on me instead of trying to find me support. this is the fifth time im being asked to reschedule it’s very frustrating. update: a wonderful woman at the clinic reached out to me and heard my plea. i apologize for seeming rash but instability does that to people.

Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment with some urgency as I was going to be out of area for 6 months and had a filling causing issues. The first appointment they had was a month away, which I booked. THE DAY BEFORE my appointment they apparently tried to call and cancel but no voicemail was left. That was it, no email, nothing. I arrived at the desk a week before I have to fly out to find out my appointment had been canceled. Half hearted apologies were given with full hearted excuses, an incredible amount of attitude, and eventually half a resolution was offered. Unfortunately, I am now in a situation where everyone else is booked and I can’t get the care I need. Incredibly terrible reception, complete lack of empathy... perhaps it’s good I didn’t let such apathetic care come anywhere near my mouth.

Negative experience: Complete trash will never go here again was promised a price and received a bill for over triple the amount discussed. Had to play phone tag for a month to be hung up on multiple times on top of that I was told I was lying about what I had been told. Hope this place gets shut down.

Negative experience: I don’t see doctors very often. This is the first review online I’ve ever left besides maybe a couple yelp reviews with my wife after an enjoyable experience. I’m not a complainer. I try to build others up as much as I can. Do not schedule a visit with Dr. Stieglitz. He had zero interest in me. Talked down to me. Acted like I was an interruption to his day. I don’t like to speculate but I’m wondering if he’s close to retiring and just doesn’t care any more. Who knows? It was a bizarre experience. Hope the other doctors are nicer and show that they actually care.
Negative experience: I went in for congestion and ear pain. He made his diagnosis without listening to my chest and tried to prescribe a medication I told him I could not take. They give out my personal information to another person. Billed incorrectly and it took months for them to correct their mistake. The Doctor was so rude I will never go back.
Negative experience: Update October 2020 ZERO STARS. If the VA referred you to this terrible place then request a different community provider. I already walked out on one "Doctor" Stieglitz because he is anything but caring. Then I was moved over to "Doctor" Polidor who canceled two of my appointments within two weeks with less than 24 hours notice--literally the morning of. She won't meet with you and wants to get away with charging for virtual "visits" and won't do necessary blood work. Instead of checking on my high blood pressure, she tells me to go buy my own BP monitor. She should resign just like Stieglitz for not upholding their Hippocratic oath. AVOID this place if you actually want medical care and to be treated with respect. --------------------------------------------------------------- March 2020 Avoid Dr. Stieglitz. I'm a Veteran who was referred to Rogue Community Health by the VA. Stieglitz has no "bedside" manner, does not build rapport, does not even know why you are there to see him, and talks down to you the entire time. If you're looking for a doctor who at least pretends to care and treats you like a human being then avoid him. He seems like he's miserable where he's at. Google him and see the other poor reviews. I walked out in the middle of my second visit. The staff at the counter and the check-in nurses have been nice on both occasions though.

Positive experience: We were able to get in quickly. However there is such a high turn over. My girls have had three or four doctors. Hard to get to know your doctor when they are changing so often.

Negative experience: GREEDY, INCOMPETENT! $500+ for a doctor's visit, $400 extra for a blood test to test for diabetes. Didn't tell me to fast beforehand, so the whole test was worthless. I had to pay another doctor at a different hospital to do it right. I didn't pay the $400 right away since they messed the test up, and they immediately sent it to collections. They represent everything that is wrong with the greed-based American medical system. They're lucky I haven't sued them yet for medical malpractice. Though it's pretty tempting.

Fantastic experience: Stuff is amazing. They are always finding ways to save me money while being uninsured. Wait time is much less compared to other medical facilities.
Positive experience: Really overcrowded inside. Kids were screaming and running everywhere. Glad they got me in to see them but I rather not go back. The employees besides the front receptionist are really friendly and nice.

Fantastic experience: I can always expect to get good service and almost get seen the same day I call to see my PC. The doctors and nurses are very kind and helpful. The receptionists are very friendly. Having a pharmacy, it is so helpful for me not having to go across town for my medicine. Overall I really love going there.

Negative experience: If you need help DON'T GO HERE!!! In 4 visits my primary never even actually touch me (even with a stethoscope and I am a heart patient???) Went into pick up meds once and they told me that the physician refused refills until I got lab work. So I went to lab and they had no order for labs. Some of the meds cause very adverse conditions if stopped. Demanded to see physician. He had the day (friday) off as did everyone on his team apparently. I started getting louder and the "medical director" came out to see what the problem was. He said he would help. He disappeared and came back with the same story and he couldn't do anything and I would have to talk to physician on Monday. "medical director" refused to do anything putting my mental and physical well being in jeopardy. THEY THEN DISCHARGED MY WIFE AND I AS PATIENTS(???), FURTHER JEOPARDIZE MY HEALTH AND WELL BEING!!! THESE PEOPLE AND CLINIC SHOULD LOSE THEIR LICENSE TO PRACTISE!!

Negative experience: They almost killed me, they proscribed me a penicillin type drug which I am allergic to. So watch out for them, the doctors do not understand or care about their patients.
