Fantastic experience: We have brought my almost 5 month old here since he was about 6 weeks and it’s been absolutely amazing. He struggled with a clogged tear duct and after one visit, it had cleared. He has never had any stomach issues and I really think it’s because of the chiropractic benefits. We have gone 1-2 times a week since he was 6 weeks and are about to start the next phase of every other week because the benefits speak for themselves. I highly recommend Dr. Brian and his team!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve never been to a chiropractor like this. I’ve also never stayed with a chiropractor for more than a couple of months. I’ve been with Clairton Family Chiropractic for nearly a year. What sets them apart is the corrective component of their practice. I never used to feel good between adjustments, including when I was getting 2-3 per week. Now, because of the therapy prescribed with my treatment plan, I am able to “hold” the adjustments in between visits, and can even miss a visit without ending up in bed all day. I went from living with various ailments in some kind of discomfort every day to minimal discomfort on rare occasions. I will say, you have to be committed to doing your part in order to make progress, but that is the case with anything health-related. It’s worth the commitment. Can’t recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: I injured my hip several months ago, and it got progressively worse. The pain began to affect my neck/back as well as my elbow and knee. I went to see Dr. Lewis at Clairton Family Chiropractic, hoping for relief. They took X-rays and determined that my spine curvature was off, and my hips were out of alignment. I began a regimen of adjustments that not only began to correct my hips, but my neck and back. The pain in my elbow and knees is gone, as is the pain in my hip and neck. The front desk ladies are fabulous, they are kind and courteous, always smiling and helpful. Everyone is so professional and helpful. They also offer free seminars on diet, toxins, and other aspects of good health that are often ignored. I can highly recommend Clairton and its amazing staff.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Clairton Family Practice for 3 years now. When I started, I could barely walk. I looked like I was 90 needing a cane, hunched over and couldn't stand upright with out pain and a struggle. Now, I am able to walk with ease most days. I do have a number of orthopedic issue with my hips that will never go away, but Dr. Bryan and Dr. Lewis have given me my quality of life back! They have a Softwave machine that has been a game changer for my hip. Dr. Vivian is incredible and very informative. The office staff have always treated me like family, from the very first day! These folks know what they are doing and know how to treat you very well! I honestly can't thank them enough for what they have done for me and my family! I am forever grateful for them, and will continue my maintenance with them until the end of time. If you are thinking about getting a chiropractor, this is the one!

Negative experience: I don't understand why I need to visit the clinic 3 times to get my x-rays taken, first adjustment done. Everything could be done in one visit. Why do I have to sit through a 90-120 minute session listening to how the treatment changes lives etc. I'm already in the clinic for chiropractic adjustments, Why do you have to waste my time making me watch some videos and pictures. They dont go over the treatment plan unless you attend this session. I believe they show these videos, talk about previous patients only to convince patients to sign up for their long term plan where you visit clinic once or twice a week and pay around $3000 (cash) over 6 months. Payment with insurance is more compared to payments with cash.

Fantastic experience: Clairton Family Chiroprator is more than just a chiropractor facility. They treat you with up most respect and honestly like family. I have had some recent issues that had effected some digestive issues from start to finish if you get the hint there but they are literally fixing me. It has been a long road prior to them fixing me but with adjustments from Dr Lewis and Dr Bryan coupled with their in house nutritionist Cayla and Dr Bryan’s wife they are literally helping me inside and out. They believe that it’s not just adjustments is a source of healing the body but how we nourish the body and what we are taking in in ingredients to learn what our body needs and what our bodies react to that causes havoc in our body. In the process I have lost 15 pounds that at the age of 62 never thought that was going to happen. But once you learn from them on how the body is suppose to work naturally then everything changes in the body and your body heals itself. Going to them is the best decision I have ever made for myself. Go to see them they will get your health back on track!

Negative experience: I have never complained about not being able to leave a 0 star review before now. I went in with pain in my right foot from overcompensation of an old injury to the left side of my body. I nearly died in the accident leading to that injury and have had extensive and ongoing care. My current chiropractor does not have imaging equipment, so I visited Clairton Chiropractic with the intent to have it imaged and get a second opinion on current treatment. To be clear: my injuries were left hip and entire left leg and secondary strain on the right foot. This chiropractor focused almost entirely on the spine to the point that the medical records I requested to send to my attorney (we're still in litigation) don't even MENTION the actual complaint I went in with. It also states that I did things in the office and conversations were had about additional exercises at home that I never did and we never had. These records are absolutely useless for my injury case! There is no amount of care on my SPINE that is going to correct grade 2 tears on my FOOT, ANKLE, and LEG. This chiropractor will attempt to convince you that relieving pressure on the nerves in the spine will speed healing to the rest of the body. My dudes, this is quackery. Chiropractors like this give real chiropractors a bad name. In addition to this malpractice, this chiropractor leans heavy on "God" BS, will attempt to get you to agree with him by asking rhetorical questions that you are expected to answer or asking for your uninformed opinion of a medical fact or opinion of his. The overall approach including multiple start-up visits is designed to indoctrinate new patients into not only coming to the clinic multiple times a week, but also to buy into their other services including supplements, 'fitness' classes, and more. If you're a Christian, go hard for Jezuz, and believe in faith over science, this is the place for you. If not, go somewhere else. Honestly, anywhere else, even Dr. James, who has a top-down approach (similar not addressing the actual problem, but not trying to start a cult either).

Positive experience: Updated: I still would say majority of what I originally wrote, however, after seeing a different chiropractor for a year I have a different perspective. I still view this office as a good place for people to be adjusted. But my personal preference is to always find a chiropractor who takes the time at every appointment to see and hear what is happening to my body instead of taking a max of 5 minutes to get me in and out. This intentional time at our current chiropractor has made a huge difference for the impact adjustments have made for myself and two children. Because of this *personal preference* to have a chiropractor who talks with me every appointment and doesn’t rush through it, I lowered my rating from a 5 star to a 4 star. After coming for six months I would recommend this practice for others also. MaxLiving feels set apart from other chiropractors because of the whole body approach. There is prework, postwork, and homework to the actual adjustment which is beneficial for your body to hold the adjustment better. The practice is definitely family friendly as they have a small play area. The staff was also helpful in watching my baby while I got my x-rays which is a great help when you don’t want to get a babysitter for a quick appointment. The only two minor aspects I would change would be (1) the regular asking to come to classes they offer and (2) the lack of hands on analysis before adjustments. (1) I thoroughly enjoyed the educational classes they offered that I was able to attend. They host most for free and the information is helpful to living a healthy lifestyle. On the occasions I had something on my schedule, where I couldn’t attend, it got bothersome being asked if I was going at every appointment. Max Living does a great job at using x-rays to have objective measurements to show what progress is being made. This takes away from any skepticism of the person weary of the effectiveness of a chiropractor, alongside actual symptom changes. However, my personal opinion is there should still be the foundational skill to feel a persons body and know how it needs to be adjusted. I mostly say this critique because at the end of my six month program my hips had been over-adjusted the opposite way I started. Though this is an easy adjustment to fix, financially I was at a place that I couldn’t keep coming so it left me in a pickle. I feel this could have been prevented if the adjustment was not so time efficient that they would have stopped to actually feel how my body was adjusting. The efficiency of appointments is great for those who need a quick adjustment but takes away from the practice of knowing the body enough to shift techniques based off the body’s current status. All that that to say, I would absolutely come here consistently. My spine improved throughout my time here, as did my husbands. The staff is personal and friendly, and they offer more than just an adjustment. My standard for a chiropractor have been set to what they offer here.

Fantastic experience: Monday 1/3/2023 I had my 1st follow up appointment after X-rays and health report on 12/29/22. I have NO pain NOW. Dr. Bryan knew exactly what to do. I had a cervical laminectomy, C3-4-5, 24yrs. ago and no stabilization so this will take a little time. He listened to what I explained and my past problems with my neck and when I went back for the follow up he obviously studied the X-ray and written information I provided. No asking questions by staff as they take notes and 20 minutes later the Dr/surgeon comes in with a diagnosis. No no THIS is a real Dr that cares about your health and knows what to do with all your information. His staff is great also. I’ll be 74 in another month or so. I’m glad I came Clairton Family Chriopractic If you have pain-anywhere believe me it mostly is from a compromise nerve system. Talk to Dr. Bryan @ Clairton family chiropractic. He treats the problem not the symptoms.

Negative experience: My first visit was great but the second, follow up was not. Took advantage of the $48 special to get x-rays and treatment started. Follow up, was told I had a lot of issues (but of course they can fix it!) and would not let me see the x-rays until I agreed to bring my husband along for a "timeshare" like seminar to discuss treatment options and cost. I'll be going elsewhere for treatment as this didn't feel right to me.

Fantastic experience: I went for the first time and super friendly staff and the place very clean and organized The Rx lady she was so gentle and nice with me. Never had the experience going to a Quiropractic and they do Rx or anything like this. The doctor explained every little detailed about what they do with each individual person He was so specific and give me some hope for my case. I have a great feeling I will get so much better with this Quiropractic group.

Fantastic experience: I had my first ever adjustment today. Dr. Eric was FANTASTIC! He told and showed me everything he was going to do before he did it. My back hasn’t felt this good in years… if ever. I’ve had numbness in my leg for the last couple years and I regained some feeling in that leg before I ever left the office. Fantastic experience: I had pain come on slowly during a prior weekend at the very middle of my back around the T7 to T9. I had to go on a work trip with the pain at about a 5 and by the time I had come home that Wednesday night it was at a 6. I google map searched many different places and after seeing the other reviews here I called on Wednesday afternoon while away on my trip. I could hardly understand the receptionist because of loud airport background noise and she spoke so softly and with an accent and I could not get an appointment for Thursday so I asked her if they had any openings come up to call me and I would come in at a moments notice. She said yes and kept my number. I called back again on Thursday and my background circumstances noise issues allowed the other receptionist and I to hear each other much better. She squeezed me in on Friday with Dr Eric. By this time the pain had gone down to a 2-3. Dr Eric was methodical and professional in explaining how they wanted to go about helping me. That day I received X-rays by the Bi lingual receptionist/assistant and found her extremely pleasant, gentle and professional. They brought me in Monday and Dr. Eric explained to me what was going on with my back and how he was going to perform only certain adjustments to fix that area. Dr. Eric adjusted my back with 4 major manipulations in order to most effectively get my back to normal. Then they took X-rays. He explained that they would like to go over all of these steps in detail at our next appointment and explain future plans for return adjustments to keep me pain free. A day later I went back in to lift weights because I’m pain free. Dr. Eric and Dr. Bryan have an extremely well yet fun light run office. If I had to advise anyone, skeptical or not with Chiropractic adjustments, to go get an adjustment for a real general pain or specific issue with their back I would highly recommend Clairton professionals. Thanks guys.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had significant injuries from sports and a car accident. When I responded to an ad purely out of desperation for help, I was contacted by Dr Eric directly that same day. I was able to get an appointment for the next afternoon where I received a comprehensive detailed exam, X-ray, and next appointment very quickly. Dr Eric was insistent on seeing me again immediately because he knows he can help, truly help. The plan for correction will come after an adjustment and second set of xray. Given my current issues and the fact that no other Dr had been able to tell me WHY my back hurt like this I was skeptical. Dr Eric was able to explain spine and nerve health as well as why my particular issues are this severe and how they relate to overall health. In simple terms x causes y and we can fix it. I’ve always been athletic, now I’m essentially bed bound and still relatively young. I went in skeptical expecting a lot of holistic living which hasn’t helped me (neither has traditional medicine) and left feeling full of hope because of how this practice approaches illness and wellness and how to correct issues. This approach is corrective. Well living without being all medicine or all holistic. The staff here is down to earth, friendly, and helpful. Their main concern truly does seem to be correction of injury or illness and finding a healthier way to live and be. For the first time in 14 months, I have hope.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience. I was given X-rays and a consultation about what was really going on not just a pop here and there my alignment was very precise and then more X-rays I can’t wait til my next alignment thank you so much.
