Positive experience: I had a wonderful experience with Mara. She was incredibly patient, made me feel comfortable and at ease, attentive and did her best to address my concerns, even though TMJ isn't her specialty. She took her time to answer all my questions and helped loosen my jaw, which provided some relief. Mara referred me to Kristin, who specializes in TMJ. While Kristin did a great job relieving the tension in my neck and back, I didn’t feel the same focus on my jaw as I had with Mara, and I still have tightness and tension in my jaw. Kristin mentioned looking into intraoral massage, and I plan to research it further. Overall, I appreciated the care, but I felt a bit rushed with my questions during my session with Kristin.

Negative experience: Very useless place.First time experience and is horrible I booked an appointment and the first one was by 4:30pm and second one by 5:30 pm.The second one got cancelled for reason I didn’t know and then they give me information on how to get to the place and all then tell me why I came for the appointment and didn’t see anyone and no one could call or reschedule to say we close by 3pm on Saturday or something like that.I called and no one was picking eventually one of the employees messaged me that she just left the place by 3pm.So why should my card be charged for a service that didn’t take place .You know you guys close by 3pm on Saturday and still left the booked appointment by 4:30pm hell no useless place worst experience to ever have trash!!!!.Their policy is 24 hour cancellation tell me why they cancel the second appointment and they said the person to do it was sick I didn’t have problem with that but why wasn’t I called earlier or messaged to tell me they are not sure the appointment will hold and got charged it wasn’t like I call to tell me am not coming or anything I came and no one was there and you guys know you are not going to be around .Dont come to this useless place unless you will regret.stupid place

Fantastic experience: Fantastic massage! I have worked with several massage therapists over there years and Mara M. is at the top of the list. I prefer deep tissue massages and it's hard to find therapists who apply enough pressure. Mara not only applies enough pressure but does a great job diagnosing issues going on and focusing the massage on helping to address those issues. Very happy!

Fantastic experience: If you want deep massage and I mean a true deep massage Dre is definitely your person. My back has been in pain for a month and a half and I tried everything so I looked up thiis place booked it and it was the best decision I made. I won't deny I am sore, not necessarily a bad thing. I don't feel that pain anymore couldn't believe how much knots I had and even spots on my back I never knew about!! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and definitely a clean relaxing place. Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a massage therapist that you will want to keep coming back to, that would be mine, Jake Fritzel. I’ve been seeing Jake every three weeks or so for about 6 months, and with every visit, Jake consistently gives a fantastic massage. He communicates well and asks the right questions each time to ensure you get the most out of your treatment . Also, which I think is so refreshing, Jake asks what music you prefer and then accommodates. He is the BEST!

Fantastic experience: I have had the opportunity to work with both Tyler and Mara at Body Specific and I have been more than pleased. They both zoned in to my "problem" areas and really helped to relieve some terrible pain that I had been experiencing. They have definitely been life-changing, as I have experienced chronic back pain for years. I would absolutely recommend anyone with sciatic pain or or issues in the psoas muscle area to give Body Specific a try!!

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a new aesthetician for waxing services and gave them a try. The atmosphere was nice enough, not amazing or anything but the lady at the desk was super friendly. My aesthetician, Alexus, was beyond amazing! I've never had a better Brazilian! She was friendly and professional. She was very skilled and provided the most painless wax I've had but even more than that truly the best job I've had. She took her time and made sure it was done well and thoroughly.

Fantastic experience: I've gotten a 15 minute off site with Lisa and a 30 minute with Dre on site and I must say this is one of the most knowledgeable and personable massage therapists I've ever worked with. Dre in particular was intentional about assessing my needs and developing goals to have in mind. I'm excited to envelope their practice into my wellness routine and would highly recommend others do too!

Fantastic experience: Tyler is 10/10 awesome! He's a genuinely nice guy and upstanding professional who always does an excellent job. He is always mindful of my needs/preferences and is interested and open to my feedback. Tyler uses his expertise with various techniques to apply just the right amount of pressure to work out the knots and tension in my upper back. I can't recommend him highly enough! Also, there is always someone friendly at the front desk to greet you when you arrive.

Negative experience: Service was great the first time I went in. Second time was my error not showing up, but I didn't appreciate that I couldn't come in for the second half of my 90 minute appointment, but that they would still bill me the entire amount. Or that I couldn't reschedule the appointment, or give some type of credit.

Fantastic experience: Jake is an awesome masseuse! It was seriously one of the best massages I've ever had. My neck and shoulders were so knotted up and he patiently worked them all out with a firm yet relaxing touch. No one had ever worked out that many knots in a single session before. He found them all! I felt like a new person walking out of there!! He was also so helpful in giving me tips to alleviate/prevent my stress knots in the future.

The massage table was warm, comfortable and clean! Julie did an amazing job and focused on areas that were bothering me without neglecting any other area. Afterwards, they provided a nice comfy robe and went straight to my next treatment. I had an wonderful facial with Alexus who did a deep cleansing with derma-planning. Fantastic experience: My husband Del, and I look forward to our massages with Julie Scruggs every other week. She is wonderful and understands the process of working with older clients such as us. Del has many medical issues and cannot turn over so she works with him to make sure he has a complete work over without turning over. His appreciation is always present when the hour is over. I have back issues and Julie has worked with those to relieve pain and stiffness which is wonderful as far as I'm concerned. The relaxation she provides for me is very appreciated as well, as my life is currently involved with being a full time caretaker and there is little time for me. She provides that relief as well as the physical relief on my back and leg. I recommend all the services found at Body Specific and would encourage anyone to come and reserve time to enter a world of comfort like you've never felt before.
