Matthew, I want to address the issues you've raised directly and transparently.   As you are aware, it is not true that our staff are paid unfairly.  We strictly adhere to ethical employment practices and all employees are compensated fairly according to their roles and experience. Our licensed practitioners operate as independent contractors who are compensated in accordance with their contractual agreements.   Our nonprofit, AcuMantras, was established during the pandemic as a response to the hardships faced by many of our patients who lost their jobs and health insurance. Our mission has always been to ensure the continuity of care regardless of financial or socioeconomic circumstances. Everyone involved with AcuMantras has either been compensated or has generously donated their time to support this cause. Your imputation of “highly unethical” activities in this regard is a lie and vigorously rejected.   You have misconstrued the purpose and meaning of our privacy practices.  There are no audio recordings made by management anywhere, at any time, in therapy rooms. Our expectation of privacy clause simply informs staff and patients that others might overhear private conversations in treatment or common areas. This is in no way intended to imply surveillance or recording of activities within these private areas, which we firmly stand against. Our practice is fully compliant with HIPAA regulations, upholding the highest standards of privacy and confidentiality for all our patients.   Your dispute with management is acknowledged.
