Negative experience: At CCC in Mineral Wells, I feel disappointed that primary doctor didn't express; question findings. I feel like she missed a part of my medical history, that she may have made the difference with should she been talking to me instead of me talking to her. I forgot some things to show and bring up. The staff of nurses are right on top of things; reading chart,etc. Currently finding and figuring things out with weight loss, ( which i brought up a few times to Miss B) waiting on results for WHY Anxiety higher elevated BP, and constant weight gain, and chronic pain in back and front of chest. I was told to get counciling. Miss B had said she would schedule an advisor, or something to do with a start to illeviate the pain I experience. Which I agreed would help. However I won't have no transportation soon, etc cuz not having money. At ER I didn't understand what would happen to me after I left. I was informed to make an appointment with PCP. , and take the muscle relaxer as needed . After the 23rd in Er; I gave an update on pending pain and symptoms and what I was doing when happened as directed by ER , and nurse staff at CCC. Honesty I need to loose about 40 lbs, to help assist with back problems,lungs, Blood pressure and Anxiety. Please help and send me a copy of this here survey;12/31/2024 at 11:32 a.m. for my medical records please. Heart Aneurysm, Anxiety/ Depression/lungs. Copd, Asthma. I don't need my medical records of my condition medically speaking . Just this to go to my records. Thank you for your concern.

Fantastic experience: My therapist was great. She knew and understood my unseen condition and not only provided exercises to help (at the rehab center and at home) but was a great person to talk with to help with the mental and emotional aspects.

Negative experience: Absolutely would not recommend!! My boyfriend got his ankle slammed in a door and we took him to get it looked at, the first nurse we dealt with was very nice! The doctor and the other nurses on the other hand were absolutely awful, there for three and half hours and doc looked at it for 30 seconds and left got the X-ray done and then no one else came in to check on him or give pain medication or nothing! This is not the first time he has been treated this way by the staff at that hospital and when you try to talk to anyone different they never show up or they say oh well they are not available right now! Do not go to this hospital if you can help it

Fantastic experience: I had a very nice and beneficial physical therapy session with Brandon (sorry I don't know his last name). He went over and beyond my expectations concerning my arm and hand. I feel he really cares about his patient's well+,being and improvement. Than you so much for caring for me. He is an outstanding physical therapist.

Fantastic experience: I loved my rehab at Palo Pinto General Hospital rehab after my surgery. The staff are very good. I have made a good recovery and am functional again after this rehab. Brandon Hons and those that work with him are all very good. I rate this rehab facility 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: I had a c section at this hospital on 11/15/2023, and I honestly cannot remember the names of any of the nurses or doctors that attended me and my baby, but I still think of all of them to this day. They truly care for you while you’re there. The nurses were the sweetest and helped me out so much.

Negative experience: Horrible hospital, avoid at all cost!! Bad staff

Fantastic experience: If you are in need of physical therapy, the Palo Pinto Rehabilitation and Fitness Center is the place to go. No traveling to Weatherford, Ft. Worth, etc. for physical therapy. Brandon Hons leads the team of professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and friendly physical therapists (PT) and physical therapy assistants (PTA). You receive one-on-one instruction from either a PT or PTA who guides you through a physical therapy program designed specifically for your unique need(s). Physical therapy challenges you but aides in your recovery. No, it isn't easy but, compete against yourself to get better and get your life back. Buffy was very patient with me when I'd grump and gripe about something she asked me to do (because I thought it was too hard), but I had to try to see if I could do what she asked. I did ... more often than not. And then, the satisfaction I felt was great!!! Upon completion of your physical therapy program at the Rehab center, you can receive a tailored home health exercise program to continue your recovery at home. Determine to do your home exercise program to maximize your recovery. Many thanks to Brandon, Buffy, Alyssa, Chad, Charlotte, Jennifer, Cindy, Valerie, and Randa for your dedication to your patients and profession!!! Y'all are the best!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a EGD done today with Dr. Boya. From the admission office to the recovery room, everyone was so so very nice, respectful and explained everything where I could understand. Made the whole procedure very calming. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I needed a Cardiologist to help me find my new normal after I had a fluke heart attack brought on by a hard cough...they found I had a hole in my heart. The Doctor that found the issue was fine, unfortunately he didn't do any follow-up, I was left to the PA that was Not fine. I took a chance on Dr. Puppala and I am so glad I did! He is thorough, takes time explain everything, and has a great bedside manner. He truly cares about his patients, and so does his staff; they are all so happy, kind and helpful every step of the way.

Negative experience: Not very compassionate towards patients especially in excruciating pain.. The doctor and nurse are more about getting you in and out instead of ensuring the patient comes out in better condition than the same amount of pain they came in with. Refused to give fluids when I clearly am dehydrated and have a torn arch - torn ligament. If you are able to go to Weatherford or Fort Worth I highly suggest it! Do not waste your time or money at this hospital.

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment with the Heart Center today. Staff was extremely attentive, very welcoming, and very knowledgeable in the heart issues I have! Dr. Puppala is very personable and knowledgeable!! We were very impressed with their professionalism and will be telling others of our experience!

Fantastic experience: I recently had lumbar surgery. I was told by doctors it would keep me walking but the pain would never go away. Chad was my PT. He has a kind spirit and worked with me. Everytime I went a would be a little sore but by the time I left my pain would be 0. I had a toe that didn’t bend for 10yrs from being broke and doing all my exercises 2x week plus at home guess what? My toe bends! My posture is better than ever. I’m excited to continue my PT at home and build my body up, since I graduated up there today. He was very knowledgable and encouraging. Thank you Chad and all PPGH physical therapy department.

Fantastic experience: I have been in physical therapy in other places. This was the ONLY place that accurately diagnosed me and designed exercises specifically for me; rather than generalized exercises. Chad knows some unique techniques that have helped a great deal. I have noticed other therapists adopting some of those techniques into their repertoire which means they are constantly learning from each other. For a relatively small hospital, the quality of outpatient therapy could hold up against a comparison to many other much larger hospital rehabilitation centers.

Fantastic experience: I had foot surgery at PPGH on 10/22/24 and received excellent care overall from Pre-op, in the OR and in Recovery! Shawna, Pat, Toni, Crystal (and a couple of names that escape me) did everything possible to ensure my comfort and pain relief during the entire procedure. I would recommend PPGH Day Surgery to anyone that may require a surgical procedure!

Fantastic experience: Everyone was really great. Very kind. Very professional. Communication from the beginning of this process to after surgery has been really good. Everything has felt like smooth sailing. Thank you Dr. Browne, Pat in Pre-op, the techs Carie, Alisa, and J.B., the nurses Shawna RN, Candace RN, Melannie RN, Katherine RN, and Kristin with Anesthesiology. You were all wonderful, with friendly faces and supportive attitudes. If I forgot anyone who was involved with my care today, I'm so sorry, but everyone I encountered were Healthcare Rockstars!

Fantastic experience: Very attentive and friendly staff, they make you feel like a person, not just another chore to check off. Brandon, Alyssa, Valerie, Cindy, and Randa, were all very polite and welcoming. Brandon and Alyssa both took the time to explain every exercise I was doing, why I was doing it, and how it would benefit me in the road to recovery. They would correct me when I wasn’t doing an exercise properly, which I appreciated. I will be back when I have my other knee replaced. Thank you for all you do!

Fantastic experience: Came from lumbar fusion to rehab. Was unprepared for the great people I met in every part of the hospital. In the rehab section I met Kody and Cookie, 2 rehab specialists that cover every base whether there’s an intended outcome or an unintended outcome of the different tests and exercises. I can think of no one that approaches their jobs with more care and more study. If you have to be in a hospital….this is the place to be! Coach Lauer

Negative experience: The first nurse who attended to my son was amazing. However, the doctor seemed more interested in getting directions to the local lake than treating my son. No one attempted to clean his wound, and I don't believe he received adequate care. Despite being given an EKG, the second nurse who handled our discharge just left the lead pads on. The antibiotics given to him turned out to be incorrect for his condition, which led to me taking him to his primary care physician just a few days later for proper treatment. He was then given the correct medicine and received the care he needed. I cannot recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: I was prescribed 2 sessions of Physical Therapy. Chad and Buffy worked with me. Their encouragement and skill helped me to make incredible progress. I now know what I have to do to keep myself active and able to be independent and participate in the things that mean so much to me.

Numerous times, I've needed to reach out to them for help with a blood work technician or with paperwork or with updated prescriptions and the staff, especially Lisa have always been instantly available, helpful, kind, and courteous.

Fantastic experience: Having a baby here was like a 10/10 resort. Palo pinto hospital made having my baby smooth and easy and not stressful The food selection was good, nurses were very quick and attentive, and kept me hydrated and stocked on all the supplies I needed after baby. Any questions I had, they helped me and cared for baby. So happy with my delivery and how quickly they were able to do my epidural when I caved last minute and asked for it.

Fantastic experience: Awesome Outpatient physical therapy. 15 weeks of twice weekly sessions, began ridged minimal movement to moving. Walked 750ft nonstop with my walker. Upright Walker 10in pneumatic tires walked 980ft through parking lot, out onto grass meadow, down and up water drainage, around boulders in the gravel yuca garden. Gained mobility and Gained New Positive Outlook. An attitude that will carry me further in my progress of rehabilitating my spine, legs, and nerves to walk freely on my own two legs!!! Body and Mind Enrichment.☆☆☆☆☆ .

Fantastic experience: Had a colonoscopy on Friday 7/26/24 and Dr. Boya and all the nurses were extremely caring and professional! Crystal, Candance, Alissa, Elysha thank you for taking such good care of me. Nurses are hardworking and deserve our gratitude! Jeff, thanks for my good nap!! Negative experience: While being treated at Palo Pinto General Hospital fentanyl came up in my urine! I DID NOT put this drug into my body! I don't know much about this drug but I do know that it's killing people! The doctor and hospital professionals deny putting this into my IV! These Hospital professionals put my life at risk and no one wants to fess up to it! How scary to go into a hospital to seek help and they put a deadly drug into my body! Very very scary

Fantastic experience: I got kidney stones away from home and ended up here twice. The staff were so caring and took very good care of me. I did have a really long wait the second time I went but that was due to tragic circumstances beyond anyone’s control. The staff here truly care.

Fantastic experience: I had a procedure in the day surgery department at Palo Pinto General this week. Everyone from the checkin to dismissal were so kind and actually seemed like they love their jobs. Other places they bark orders at you and seem annoyed. This hospital was nothing like that. It really felt like my comfort and health was their top priority.

Negative experience: About 2 weeks ago I took my 6 year old in because he was having fever diarrhea and some blood in his stool, took him the first day doctor said I'm not worried about blood in his stool since his not having stomach pain he told he had strep throat. Sunday morning I took him back a second time that doctor didn't even show his face until the blood work was done I told him he has blood in his stool he didn't do nothing either, he said his blood work says his fine. I'm beyond mad now. Monday morning I took him to his doctor his doctor had me take him a stool sample, turns out my child had Salmonella. Two doctors and neither cared to listen they both blew me off about his symptoms. Don't trust them always a 3rd opinion.

Fantastic experience: I met all my goals. I could barely walk when I started. Everyone one was helpful and determined as I was to meet my goals. I would use them again. Very professional, goal oriented and friendly.

Fantastic experience: The Physical Therapy Dept at Palo Pinto Hospital is truly the BEST! Over a 6 week period, I worked with Dr Chad, Alyssa, and Buffy. The staff was always kind, encouraging & professional, and helped me toward my goal of strengthening my back and knees. Fantastic experience: I used the Physical Therapy rehab facility at PPGH after my knee replacement. After an evaluation and goal setting with a PT each visit I worked with the same PTA with specific exercises to accomplish my goals. I was counseled before selecting PPGH to ensure I went to a place with individual attention. PPGH is an excellent facility for that and the staff are very talented and caring. I highly recommend them. .

Fantastic experience: Had 2 MRI's done 5/20/2024 @8am. Tech was very friendly, knowledgeable and made sure I was comfortable. He provided my choice of music through headphones and had a visual screen set up to watch nature scenes. Very nice experience. Ten stars!

Fantastic experience: I had a Pulmonary Function test ordered for disability When I arrived I was dizzy and a RN whose name I forgot helped me right away She and another co worker got me a wheelchair and took me to admitting.Kim did my test and I would give her 100 stars The test was hard for me and she treated me with such kindness it brought me to tears She is my employee of the month I have never been to this hospital before and the kindness everyone showed was just heartwarming They are the best

Fantastic experience: I had 2 surgeries in the past 3 months with Dr. Walsh. I received 5 star care from everyone in Day Surgery pre-op and recovery. Forgive me for not remembering all the names! For the first surgery back in February, I passed out getting my IV placed, and the nurses and techs were so attentive and reassuring. My second surgery was inpatient, and all the nurses and staff in Women's Services were wonderful as well. Vanessa, Prisca, Cierra, and Carole were the sweetest. Their years of experience were evident, as well as the empathy that showed in their bedside manner. I am so grateful for the care I received at PPGH.
