As a hairstylist my shoulders and neck are all messed up and he is thorough with the explanation process and continues to be fun and sweet and one of the best I have had for how tall and big I am, makes me feel very comfortable. Such a cool guy, would highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Been going for about 4 months now. Ask for Dr. Justin Thompson. I could not reach down, couldn't stand, couldn't lay down without pain for 4 months before going to Dr. Thompson. As soon as I got there, had an initial examination and after assessment he planned out a recovery regimen. Now I am able to reach down and stand without lower back pain. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been a regular at West End Chiropractic for nearly six years. I walked into West End Chiro in 2018 with what I soon learned was upper cross syndrome - the poor posture, pain, and problems that come from years spent hunched over a keyboard. Dr Dana wanted me to start with x-rays, which I was hesitant to do after 30 years of intermittent chiropractic care and no long term results, but she convinced me to give it one more try. She told me that if I followed the treatment plan she outlined, I would see results in three months. She was right. Long term results come from a combination of physical therapy, stretching, strengthening, adjustments, and other treatments. One of the unique aspects of West End is how well they integrate all these elements. There seems to be just as many PTs on staff as chiros, and they all work very well as a team. The last few years I've worked with Dr Andy and he helps me hit the reset button after a work trip, gym session, hauling around a toddler, or whatever else puts strain on the body. My posture has continued to improve - to the point that none of the blazers I purchased in 2019 fit right anymore. Fantastic experience: I’ve seen chiropractors off and on for 20years. Most of my experiences with other Doctors has been a quick snap crackle pop providing limited short term relief. The results from working with Dr. Justin are night and day. He started with an assessment to establish a baseline (which I was admittedly annoyed by because I was anticipating this to be like all my previous experiences) and really know the status of my spine. I’m grateful for the processes that Dr. Justin and this office follow regarding care. I’m in my 30s and have more flexibility and mobility than in my teens and 20s. If you’re looking for long term sustainable pain relief you cannot go wrong here. Pro tip: If you’re like me and you want to go when there are less people the best day for appointments is Thursday afternoons with Dr. Justin.

He takes the time to really listen to what’s going on with you, uses a holistic approach to treatment plans, and went above and beyond to make sure that my insurance would cover as much as possible. When he was not available and knew I needed to be seen, he was quick to refer another capable team member. I always felt well cared for and welcomed. I highly recommend West End Chiropractic and especially Dr. Erik.

Fantastic experience: I came to west end chiropractic with lower back pain due to overuse in baseball. Dr.John was very understanding of what I needed and how I was feeling. Every week he helped me through my pain and made my back feel better over the weeks. Dr.John wasn’t just there to make my back feel better he was there to talk to me about life and give good advice before I moved on to college. Dj also helped me a ton with recovery after adjustments. He helped me understand my movements better and how the body works. Dj often gave me helpful tips and good stretches to do. He talked to me about life and gave great advice to me. Fantastic experience: In Mid-February 2023 I had been experiencing major pain and discomfort in my mid-back/shoulder, and the manager at my gym referred me to Dr. Erik Waldeland. I workout 6 days+ a week and am extremely active as a result, so this pain really impacted my routine a lot. Around 2008, I had lower back pain issues, and only utilized physical therapy for that, and so was hesitant to try a chiropractor this time, but went for it. Over the course of course of 2x/week visits with Dr. Erik and the PT staff at West End Chiropractic, for several weeks, leading up to now where I go around every 2.5 weeks or so, I progressively got more and more pain-free to now where I experience zero pain and feel great. From my initial visit, I felt like it was taken very seriously and honestly on if Chiropractic Care was a solution for my problem or not. Not only has this process given me a reminder to possibly take 'rest days' from workouts a bit more seriously, but it also has given me more 'top of mind' awareness on general mobility, stretching and similar to keep incorporated in my training routine. Dr. Erik is a very friendly and conversational professional who is great at his chosen area of expertise. I consider my maintenance visits to be part of routine and will continue to go to West End Chiropractic. Thanks Dr. Erik and team!

He was thorough and efficient and had me out in 45 minutes which included an exam, assessment, X-ray, and stretching. Fantastic experience: Dr. Erik has basically relieved me from severe pain twice. Once when my neck locked up and I was in severe pain and once when my back seized. I was afraid I couldn't move and forced myself through the pain to get to the appointment. He was able to relieve that pain almost instantly and I could move... I cried when I got home from relief. These people work legit miracles.

Negative experience: I'm here for a few days then going back to Dallas and called to have just 1 adjustment. Tell me why I have to pay $39 for some local charity along with my adjustment fee which might not even happen and need an xray which could happen. When I already have an xray from 2 months ago. Literally if your a legit, non-scamming Chiropractor this would not happen. Almost laughable and pathetic. Time is $$$. Don't waste my time.

Fantastic experience: I love this clinic!! I’d give 200 stars if I could! I’ve been seeing Dr. Andy at WestEnd for over 4 years now for adjustments and decompression therapy. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, and it always feels like you’re with a group of friends when you go into the office. Dr. Andy is extremely professional, and has really helped with all of my aches and pains from past injuries, adjusting me through/after my pregnancy, and he’s even adjusted my daughter. Thank you so much for the care that you give! I always feel better after leaving!

Negative experience: I have been going to chiropractors for a long time due to neck and shoulder pain. I called the office in February to find out how much they cost for a standard adjustment. They said $30. I went into the office for my first appointment in March and was happy with the competency of the doctor and staff. They did a movement exam without telling me it would cost extra, even though I confirmed the $30 at the appointment and asked if there were any other fees I should be aware of. She suggested I do almost $3,000's worth of adjustments and physical therapy to right the issues I was having, and the appointments would be multiple times a week (how in the world do you do that when you work full-time!?). However after I completed all those appointments, I was told that I would STILL need to come in monthly for adjustments... Which makes absolutely no sense. If I'm going to keep having to come in monthly, why pay $3,000? Seemed very scammy. I was then told by the front desk that the appointments would be completely covered by insurance, and I wouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket. Lies. I got a medical bill from my insurance shortly after that said I owed $124. I called the front desk and they said that it just hadn't been processed and I needed to wait. Fast forward 3 months later and I get a bill from the chiropractor for $124. I called back explaining a lot of what I have stated above, and they said that 1) insurance covered nothing, 2) the appointments were $60 not $30, and 3) the second appointment was more expensive than normal because it had the movement exam. (Just to clarify, that appointment with the exam was $191 before their write-off. The second appointment was $60 before before write-off). Needless to say I am EXTREMELY irritated and disappointed in this practice. They seem to hide way too much information and push to price gouge their customers. I have never had an experience this bad with a chiropractor before. I've already told everybody I know about my experience here, and I'm sharing it on Google reviews so that you might not go through the same issues I had. :)

Fantastic experience: From the desk staff to the personal training to the chiropractic care, the whole team at West End chiropractic is a real pleasure. They're a lot of fun, friendly and really care about their patients. I started working with Dr John 6 weeks ago. I play a lot of golf and I didn't realize that I wasn't turning my back when I was swinging at a golf ball. My back had really become stiff from a series of injuries that had when I was younger. Because of the adjustments and the physical therapy I am now turning my back when I swing and added power and accuracy to my golf game. Kory H.

Fantastic experience: I’ve never had chiropractic care before and I’ve had nothing but good experiences here. From chiro, to PT, to muscle stimulation, to stretching, to stimulated acupuncture. After getting bone spurs in my knees causing complete dysfunction, I tried stimulated acupuncture with Dr. Andy and by the third round, I was virtually pain free. Negative experience: I'm very sorry to say, I did not like this place at all when it comes to Chiropractic care. They definitely wanted to help me, and they fully believed in what they were doing, but it came off way too salesy in my opinion. They wanted to put me on a plan to come in every week. 1. Who has time for that? 2. Who has the $$ for that? They said my insurance was going to cover up to the 20th visit or something, then I'd have to pay out of pocket. It started off well enough, they actually took x-rays of my back and I felt like they wanted to take care of me. So, I took their advice and went two more times, but when the adjustment sessions thereafter were literally two pops and I was out of the office in 7 minutes (literally), I really felt I was being duped. 7 minute appointments for my $25 copay and insurance. Not worth it. I'm not trying to bash the business, because everyone there was very nice, but I don't feel these Google reviews were honest enough regarding the care. Google guided me to this place, so I wanted to provide honest feedback about what the care is like. I'd recommend Lynlake Chiro instead.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr John for a couple of years - since I started running. . .and getting running injuries! My friend recommended West End to me after he had the same Achilles injury. They use a variety of methods of treatment including adjustments, acupuncture, and graston. They focus on changing my mechanics and working on getting me better, so I’m not always injured and aggravating my legs and back. Paige and DJ are always showing me stretches for PT that I show yo my running group! I have recommended them to all of my runner friends! The whole teams is really fun and caring. It is nice seeing them and connecting weather it’s been a few days or a few months.

Fantastic experience: The team at West End has been phenomenal! For most of my adult life I have had on-and-off bouts of chronic back pain, most of which has been triggered by trivial movement. West End came highly recommended, and the results thus far speak for themselves--my range of motion is better, my day-to-day posture has improved, and I have had reduced pain in problem areas (neck, shoulders, lower back). Upon my first visit, I went through a comprehensive spinal health assessment (with xrays) to provide the team with baseline information on day-to-day spinal health stresses, lifestyle-related spinal health stresses, and a spinal health and functional ability rating. Using this information the team put together a comprehensive care plan based on my own goals from treatment and my budget and does re-assessments to determine how my spinal health is progressing over time. Further, the team puts an emphasis on PT, which I appreciate because it puts tangible things for myself to work on to ensure long-term spinal health. I see Dr. John for my adjustments and have PT with DJ (the rest of the team as well as the interns also step in and help with form critiques, muscle releases, STIM, etc.)--Overall I highly recommend the team at West End.

Fantastic experience: West End Chiropractic and Wellness is one of the top clinics that I have recieved care from. I have suffered from low back pain for the past 10 years from a old sports related injury. Following my injury, I saw several providers across several states to figure out an effective treatment plan to fit my goals. The staff of chiropractors and rehab specialist developed a treatment plan that didn't just patch my pain, but got to the root of my problems. They used a plethora of treatment methods that I have never even heard of. They are truly one of the best!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to West End Chiro for over two years now, not because of any gimmicks, but because they've earned my trust. About 4 months before I started going to WEst End Chiro I injured my back during weight training and rock climbing to a point where when exasperated I couldn't stand. I started going to some other Chiros where all I would get was a quick adjustment and be sent on my way. Those other Chiros weren't working, and that's when I came to find West End. The biggest thing from Day 1 was that Dr. Andy didn't just try and relive the pain temporarily, but instead found the source of the problem. From there he put me on a regiment of simple stretches and movements to start reteaching the body to move correctly. (In addition to adjustments and various manual therapy). I also noticed that each day I came in the adjustment would be based on how my alignment was, rather than just checking off the bases and always adjusting the same things. After the first month I was feeling a little better, but would still routinely exasperate my back. After weeks of simple stretches and movements, the exercises began to get more strenuous and directed in their intension. And at the same time I slowly started noticing my back problems going from once a week, to once every other week, to a month, then once every few, and ultimately to today where I no longer have problems. Even in the early stages when I would exasperate things, the recover time was much quicker. The key really seems to be the physical therapy combined with the adjustments. There were times I thought I may never be able to exert myself physically the ways I once did. Because of Dr. Andy and his crew though, I am back at it. For that, I am thankful.

The team helped get me back running after pain and alignment issues post two babies with a comprehensive care plan and electroacupuncture (which is amazing!!). They also worked wonders for my infants gas/reflux issues! Fantastic experience: I was diagnosed with a bone disorder at the age of 8. I fractured my lower back then & last year (2019 summer) I had crushed a bone in my spine. I chose to see a Chiropractor because I was already dealing with more than a decade of lower back pain but brand new upper back pain. Fantastic experience: I came to West End Chiro simply to make sure I was "healthy". I love to workout and rely on exercise to keep me mentally and physically healthy. After meeting Dr. Andy, I quickly realized that my intermittent headaches and neck tension wasn't just stress. Their comprehensive assessment includes an xray where I learned that I have a very straight neck that needs attention sooner rather then later. I'm a nurse, and I think all nurses have heard horror stories of chiropractor sessions gone bad. So, adjustments definitely gave me alot of anxiety and apprehension. Fantastic experience: I have been around a lot of chiropractic clinics, this one is by far the best. Not only do they look at your spinal alignment and health, but they also account for lifestyle and occupational factors that a patient may have. They also provide a wide range of services like acupuncture, nutritional consultations, cupping, physiotherapy and more! All of the doctors are very friendly and very good at what they do!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to West End Chiropractic for almost a year now and have had amazing results! I usually see Dr. Andy but have seen the other doctors and they are all amazing! I suffer from TMJ and had bad jaw pain, muscle tension, headaches, etc. and was treating my symptoms daily. After seeing Dr. Andy, he addressed my neck and back which was contributing to my TMJ symptoms and I no longer have to treat my symptoms on a daily basis. My jaw, neck, and back feel great and if you’re someone struggling with TMJ, I highly recommend making an appointment!

Fantastic experience: I've never gone to a chiropractor before and don't have pain, but after trying with an assessment I realized how much it could help me and how stiff my upper back was. The fact that there is physical therapy and strength training after getting adjusted helps so much. I was a little concerned that I would be scared into coming back forever, but they provide short term plans to help improve mobility and increase strength. I have already seen improvement after a couple weeks!

The service and program Dr. Andy and his team have provided thus far have been incredible. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Robert Hansen for the last two months for an elbow injury I sustained this summer. I thought I was dealing with some tendinitis, but it was actually a dislocated radial head and tear in the ligament. Dr Robert treated the elbow with Grastons Technique and he’s adjusted my cervical and thoracic spine along with special care to my shoulder, elbow and hand. He has taught me the importance of both stretching and resting the elbow joint. My pain level went from severe to barely there. I cannot thank Dr Robert enough !!! Fantastic experience: Dr. Andy is a master manipulator -- of the spine. Several months ago, chronic knee pain started messing with my back. I didn't know if chiropractic could help with my knee but I was certain it would keep my back moving properly. I met with Dr. Andy for the first time and described my symptoms. After confirming from x-rays that my knee issue was simple inflammation we began a course of treatment to get everything working together again. Over the course of a few months we got flexibility back in my knee and kept my spine in alignment. On my most recent visit, I told him my body feels better than it has in a year. I'm back to my happy, active self. In addition to Dr. Andy, a shoutout to Paige and Eric for their attention to my chiropractic care. Highly recommend!

The treatment plan that included chiropractic adjustments as well as physical therapy got me out of pain in no time! This is not a "one size fits all" clinic. I have been seeing Dr. John for over a year, I originally visited for almost daily headaches and since receiving treatment I haven’t had a single one. Fantastic experience: Welcoming staff from the minute you arrive. Friendly professional and quick on anything you need. I waited to submit this review until I finished my treatment package. I must say I thought I was taken for a ride, as I had signed up for quite a few number of sessions and some decent money. I couldn't have been more wrong, every single thing was absolutely worth that and more. Dr. Andy and Dr. John are experts, friendly and professional as is the whole team. Just superb. They listen to you and even though you might think or know what you want, they listen and solve problems with vast experience. I have not had my back pain upon waking up since 1 month after I started. My initial exam showed my cervicals going totally in the wrong direction. With exercises in office and homework for gym or home plus the weekly's adjustments, not only does my x ray show improvement; I am walking testament to that improvement. The natural curvature of my cervical line is coming back. And along that my hips, spine, shoulders and thighs got a whole lot of improvement. The team has many ways to treat you beside the adjustment. There is an elbow treatment for knots and pain that feels amazing and solves the situation. I cannot say enough good things about West End Chiropractic. It will sound unbelievable but in the past 4 months I have not had the back pain I had been having for the past 8 years. And while this is not completely resolved, each one of us knows their own body. And if you can feel improvement or rather no longer feel the pinching pain; then you know something is going perfectly right. Plus the usual, easy parking, nice plaza, great common area and right off highway 100 at the west end shoppes.

Fantastic experience: I'm a runner, and was referred to West End Chiro by a friend after experiencing extreme pain in my achilles tendon. Being an avid runner made this extra difficult as I wasn't able to keep doing what I love for exercise. Dr. John and his team worked with me to get me back running, and though the path to recovery was a humbling experience, I could not be happier being back on the trails in such a short amount of time. I was nervous I'd done irreversible damage to my form/stride and the tendons themselves, but with consistent check-ins at West End, I was able to participate in and complete the two big races I'd planned on at the end of the Summer season (Ragnar Great River and Chicago Marathon.)
