Fantastic experience: So a few months ago, I underwent body sculpting at Sonobello in Columbus, Ohio and I was super pleased it was such a smooth process and I had great results & a smooth recovery. They really paid attention to my medical details, which made me feel more at ease in my choice. Part of the package was for me to get a Venus Legacy treatment to help heal, and to enhance what I’d already had done. Even with this procedure, though it is non-invasive the technician really paid attention to my medical information. We discussed what was good for me & what was not good for me and we proceeded with the Venus Legacy with my full understanding of what to expect, and I felt like I was in very capable hands. Fast forward to today and I’m looking in the mirror and my results are wonderful. I am very pleased not just with the outcome that I wanted, but also with the professionalism, the knowledge, the care, the bedside manner of the entire team as Sonobello Columbus, Ohio. From the reception desk to the procedure room, the doctors, the nurses and all of the staff were wonderful. This review is so glowing that I feel like I need to let you know no one paid me to leave this review. They have no clue that I’m posting this review about them. I hope This reaches someone who may be wondering whether or not to move forward in this direction. This was my experience and it was +100% positive. Most importantly, I felt comfortable putting my health in their hands for the body sculpting and the Venus Legacy. Again, this is not a paid review. I just wanted to share something positive that may or may not help someone else make a very personal decision.

Negative experience: I also posted more details on Birdeye. They charged me $13,786 & DIDN'T tighten abd. muscles; didn't even tell me it was an option in consult or pre-op appt. I feel SCAMMED by Sono Bello. On 6/7/22 I rec'd a form letter signed by my surgeon, Dr. BROWNSTEIN, stating in part, "Our dedication only begins with your procedure, as we are here every step of the way and will gladly answer all questions and address any concerns at any time. Together we will achieve the best possible result for you!" They have NOT: 1.) fixed the deformed abd. scar [ASHLEY, R.N., MAGGIE, R.N., & TERA, L.P.N. did not remove the tape off of my incisions @ 2 different PO appts. which led to skin loss and infection that needed oral & topical antibiotics, 2.) provided the full 30 min. skin tightening treatment that I prepaid for, OR 3.) fixed my asymmetrical waist. During my 7/26 appt., the R.N. stepped out of the room to get something. I asked Dr. B if he could remind her to not put tape on 3 sides of the 4X4 [she had done it twice & it's painful to remove; he had instructed us to use it sparingly on 7/13 - the damage took almost 4 months to heal & the tape would eventually irritate the top layer of skin]. He didn't answer, he just glared @ me. In 10/13 appt., MAGGIE asked him if it was OK for me to start running again. Instead of explaining why it may not be a good idea yet, he throws his head back [looks like whiplash in A/A] & says, "They always ask about running!" She didn't tell him it was her idea to ask. Since DONNA had IGNORED my request to have 4 questions answered BEFORE a Nov. pre-op appt, the letter I sent was brought in @ the end of the Nov. 29th pre-op appt. [There is another staff member in the room I have never seen before & she is not introduced with her name/role.] When Dr. B read the question asking why didn't TERA (Clinical Nurse Manager) take off the tape on 7/7, he responded, "Why are you asking these questions? It seems like you're crying over spilled milk; you need to let it go". MAGGIE, R.N. then proceeds to YELL at me that if I was "the patient of another surgeon who works here you would have been on your own [in dealing with an open wound]. I know that for a fact!!" Again, my questions are NOT answered. At my 3/8/23 PO appt. when I ask Dr. B about something sticking out from my L waist when I point to it with my L index finger, he YELLS, "You're making it do that!" I was hoping to ask him about scar revision today, but since he YELLED at me AGAIN today I thought it best not to bring it up. I mailed him a letter asking him to do it which the office would have received by the 1st week in May 2023. My request was IGNORED for over a month. During my next appt. 6/7/23 while talking about it he says he is "parting ways with the company in a couple of months" & "If it opens up you'll be dealing with all that crap again!" I had received a paper stating we can switch doctors. After I found out Dr. B was leaving the co., I asked to have an appt. with Dr. Rak for a scar revision. I was REFUSED an appt. MORGAN (Area Director of Operations & Sales) emailed me on 10/4/23 stating I could email my questions to her; she would get them forwarded to Dr. Rak. After about 1 wk I called to see if he answered them. MORGAN raised her voice and said, "Dr. Rak is NOT going to answer your questions, he is not your doctor!" My case was escalated to STEPHANIE B., (Director of Patient Experience). She called me after I mailed my detailed patient experience to MORGAN and she sent it to STEPHANIE B. [I typed it because MORGAN would interrupt me after asking me questions & not let me finish.] During 1 of our phone calls, she mentioned she hasn't read it & neither has MORGAN. During our 2/26/24 phone call where I'm still trying to schedule a Dr. Rak appt. to fix the issues, STEPHANIE B. tells me she is going to hang up on me. I beg her not to hang up [because I'm trying to get these asymmetries fixed & not be disfigured. Trying to look better & feel better so my sleep is not disturbed anymore.] F.Y.I.: She HANGS UP ON ME anyway.

Fantastic experience: 1st half of procedure back in June was rough. The ABEX on August 1 went much better. Dr and nurse were very kind and explained everything.

Positive experience: I'm sure they do a good job , but I'm not going to use them if I ever save up the money . I had 1 visit the consultation (suppose to be free) she asked if I wanted to put money down to reserve a day . I put 500$ which I am pretty sure she informed me i would get it back if I canceled in time . I canceled next day than called the next day n guess what no refund on the money . So after just 2 days of making the appointment I lost my money. Kind of bull , but live and learn and Dont trust ppl n your money

Fantastic experience: The decision to come to Sonobello is one of the best I’ve ever made. From the initial consultation through the post-procedure appointments, Dr. Rak, the nurses, and the staff showed great care, kindness, respect, and true concern for me. I had the Ab/Ex procedure and the Tri-Sculpt procedure. Before going in I wrestled with the worry that I would be judged. I was so wrong! Not only was there no judgement, there was a sense of support and celebration for me that I was doing this for myself! The physical change is incredible, and I feel so much more confident in my skin!

Lauren, patient care coordinator, is absolutely phenomenal and such a gem. The nurses make you feel very comfortable while prepping you for surgery and during. I was 100% relaxed and pain free during my entire surgery. Dr Rak was my surgeon. His bedside manner is just as impressive as his surgical technique! This surgery has been life changing! I can’t even believe it’s me when I see my new body! Dr Rak’s talent is top tier and I highly recommend him! The customer service and support doesn’t stop after surgery; staff & Dr Rak checked on me during my recovery. I will forever be grateful for the Sono Bello team!

Fantastic experience: From start to finish, the Westerville team has been amazing! Admin / front office staff are welcoming and helpful; Lauren was my wonderful consultant and she really helped with answering my numerous questions from the start- and she was authentic and seemed to want me to be able to make an educated decision for myself and was not pushy whatsoever; Maggie (RN) was so incredibly knowledgeable, gave great advice, talked all the things over; Ashley (RN) was in my surgeries and she did a phenomenal job at prepping me and being there in the surgeries; there was another nurse that I didn’t interact with as much and can’t remember her name right now, but she was also great! Dr Miller is wonderful and I appreciate his attention to detail and care- I heard his incision work is wonderful as well (I haven’t seen mine yet) so I am excited about that! Overall, the team there is top notch and I am grateful for them all!

Negative experience: Horribly painful! The fact that there is no anesthesiologist is the only way you're saving a little bit of money. They pump you full of pills and you best not get any sleep the night before so that the pills will put you to sleep. When reading other reviews, I cannot believe people were actually awake and I made that very clear to them that I did not want to be awake.! it is absolutely money maker and a scam! Never received my Venus treatment because the staff at Columbus Ohio Sona was rude and became upset with me that I could not make an appointment! I explained to them that I lived an hour away, and there were other obstacles. They pretty much behaved in the sense that if I didn't come in when they wanted me to, they were dismissive and told me I would only get half of my Venus treatment !!! I spent $10,000 and they had the audacity to tell me that! the doctor was fantastic and the nurse in operating room was fantastic (you will never see the same nurse or doctor from your surgery afterwards)Although I I do feel that some areas were missed . Mary at the beaver creek location was my sales person. They are inconsistent with their pricing.. and very misleading based on their ads! When they say there is very little downtime, they are absolutely lying their asses off! Liposuction is one of the most painful surgeries you can have!!! Abex-! you will have a horrible scar! Sono Bello needs to step it up and speak with people in regards to their surgeries and what these people do for a living because if you have a physical job, there is no way you can go back to work after three or four days! As medical professionals, they should be more than willing to write people off of work.

Fantastic experience: The staff is always so friendly. I had a Venus treatment as well as a post op appointment today. I finished my Venus treatment about 30 minutes before my post op appointment. The ladies worked together and moved me from one room to another so I didn't have to change. Then Dr. Rak and another nurse (mine was busy with scheduled appointments) came in to see me before my actual appointment time. Negative experience: I made an appointment because i wanted my flabby arms fixed, after losing 100lbs. They made the appoinment KNOWING that Sono Bello does NOT work on the arms area, i didnt know that until i went to my appt where the nurse precedes to tell me ALL the other work that i NEED done, poking at my belly and legs! Confidence boost it was NOT. Thank you for tellin me about ALL my other flaws besides the one that i came for. I would not suggest to go to this business as ALL they care about is money.

Fantastic experience: Sono Bello is a wonderful place to change your life for the better. The staff was wonderful from my first visit to my procedure and to my one week follow up appointment. They make you feel welcome and they don’t pressure you in to doing anything if you choose not to. This has been life changing for me. Every day I see my results and it has only been two weeks! I just needed help to get started to a healthy life.

Negative experience: I would not recommend Sono Bello to anyone. A close family member had a fat removal procedure done here. The "amazing, instant results" that were promised never occurred and the doctor informed him after the procedure that actually the procedure could not have made much of a difference. The procedure was also quite painful and no anesthetic was provided, along with no post-wound care instructions for the following hours or days when he returned home. This procedure only "works" for those who make the appropriate dietary and lifestyle/exercise changes to actually lose weight. Do not be tricked by Sono Bello's promising ads and reviews.

Fantastic experience: As with any procedure I was nervous about the process; however Ashley, Stephanie, Maggie and Donna walked me through with patience. Let us not forget about Dr. Rak, he is something of a magician. I am 1 month post-op, I had the AbEx and liposuction on my waist. I went back to work after 4 days. I couldn’t be more happy with my results so far. I would highly recommend Sonobello to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Was in today 5/17/2023 for my post op and we met the RN Maggie and she was amazing!! Very thorough, answered all of our questions and then some. I know it’s not the standard but she allowed my partner to go back w me. And I can’t thank her enough for that and appreciate her. He is my rock and I lean on him a lot so it meant a lot to me( us) and Stephanie and Angela are just awesome( from the very first visit) always willing to help and answer questions and if they don’t know the answers they will find the answer by the time we leave!! We love walking in and seeing their smiling faces every single time!! All 3 of these young ladies are just awesome and can’t say enough good things about them!!

Fantastic experience: I have had 3 procedures completed at the Westerville location and I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER with the Results!!!! From Jamie getting my procedures planned, to Dr. Rak who performed my surgeries, to ALL THE NURSES and Staff at this location, ALL OF THEM WERE BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS!!! My results are amazing and I've never felt So good about myself! I am down 40 lbs total so far, went from am XL to a M and sometimes small, and went from a size 14/16 pant to a 6/8. Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic nurse named Krissy today at Sono Bello for the cellulite treatment. She explained everything in detail and was a great conversationalists. She has a very positive attitude and good vibes. I couldn't have asked for a better nurse. What a sweet lady she was. She is an awesome person. You are so lucky to have her working for you.

Fantastic experience: Jaime is very knowledgeable and has had it done herself which made me feel good about my decision to get this done. Maggie is the best aftercare nurse! She has been very helpful in my healing process! Dr. Rack did an amazing, amazing job! I love my new figure, and at my age, it's just what I needed to feel good about myself!

Negative experience: I’m 2yrs out and simply posting for others interested in this procedure. My personal results are disappointing. Yes, my love handles are smaller however it came with a price. #1 Scars and blotches I have some nasty scares despite following the post op. directions and even going beyond. 2 years later I still have not so attractive red blotches and uneven skin. #2 lingering pain and parathesia I had nearly 2 years of low level discomfort (1-2 out of 10). Thankfully it has now resolved. #3 With any weight gain, even modest, the fat goes has to go somewhere. I really didn’t think about the consequences of this beforehand. Now that I’m a few pounds heavier (<10), I have noticeable upper arm fat and leg fat. It does makes sense now that I have fewer adipose cells in my mid section those extra fat and lipids have to go somewhere. I just didn’t think that I’d be trading love handles and a belly pooch for chubby upper arms and legs. When I met with the treatment coordinator I let her know that I had recently lost a significant amount of weight (~15lbs). In hindsight I believe this should have been a red flag for my particular case. Why? Well because my body weight wasn’t stable. I’ve been 180 lbs for most of my adult life and that’s what my body preferred. Perhaps my weight should have been stable for at least 6 months prior to surgery? I hadn’t proved that my body would stay at that weight. This has proved to be an issue. I‘m an average guy and eats well and exercises 3 times a week. I don’t believe my lifestyle negatively effected my results. Sonobello says it will do revisions up to a year after surgery. In my opinion this isn’t enough time. I can’t say that I feel that I was fully healed until 24 months later. Now to be fair, I can’t say that the office or staff was anything less than professional. I just personally didn’t get the desired results. I have to own that. This procedure may be great for you just know nothing is without risk. I hope this helps someone make a hopefully more informed decision before considering treatment. I posted some photos.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Sono Bello in Westerville, Ohio, has been nothing short of exceptional. My husband and I met with Lauren, the patient consultant, for my consultation on December 21, 2022. She was welcoming, friendly, and put me immediately at ease. She told us about the procedures offered, showed us before and after photos, and listened to the goals for what I was hoping to achieve. Based on what I told her, she provided me with feedback and direction to maximize my results and ensure my overall satisfaction. She went over pricing and answered all of our questions. Never once did I feel pressured to make a decision. For my pre-op appointment, we met with Connie and Dr. Femovich. They were awesome. Together, they answered our remaining questions and told us what to expect. It was decided that most likely my procedure would have to be done in 2 sessions to protect my safety and to ensure maximum results. The day of my surgery, Connie got me situated and prepped for the procedure. She was again very friendly and helped calm my nerves. I met with Dr. Femovich again, and he confirmed the plan for my surgery. I think he knew I was nervous, but he got me laughing. The procedure went really well, and it was very comfortable. Jamie was the nurse with Dr. Femovich and I really enjoyed her company. We swapped stories about our sons before the procedure got underway. At my post-op appointment, I met with Maggie, the RN. She was also wonderful and shared in my excitement when looking at the before and after photos. She made sure my compression garment fit perfectly and prepared me for the 2nd of my procedure, which is next week. From the moment I walked into Sono Bello, everyone has worked together to make this an amazing experience. It is easy to see the staff here really enjoy what they do and the positive impact they make on people's lives. I would 10/10 recommend this location.

Fantastic experience: My entire experience from the front desk experience with Stephanie and Angela, consultation with Jaime to my post op care with Maggie, Connie and Kelly and of course the man of the hour, Dr. Femovich everything was top notch!! I would recommend Sono Bello to anyone and everyone I know!!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place. Everyone that I have come in contact with has been very helpful and extremely nice throughout my visits. Maggie was my post op nurse, she made me feel so good about myself. During my visits and a few phone calls, I had some questions and concerns that I was unsure about, the staff answered my questions with great care. They genuinely care about their patients and their needs. I have recommended several people to Sono Bello. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my new figure. I just wish I would’ve done this years ago. Next on my list, is my legs. Can’t wait

Fantastic experience: The SonoBello Columbus location is amazing! From the moment I came in for consultation with Jamie I felt a warm welcome. My nurses, Tasha and Ashley, answered every question I had pre- and post- op. They made themselves available throughout! I was a little scared at first but I would do it all over again. Connie also made me feel Comfortable at each visit! Dr. Brownstein is a great physician! Very personable and worked for the look I wanted; contoured me just right!

Fantastic experience: Ashley was amazing! She was so accommodating and understanding. I had to opt for a virtual appointment due to schedule changes. She asked about everything, my incision and how I was feeling. I felt this has been such a wonderful meeting since my time with sono bello. Ashley is personable and attentive. I appreciated her enthusiasm and praise regarding my recovery. Scheduling my next appointment she was very sweet and considers my drive time. Please give Ashley a huge high five from me! I’d love to have her for all of my appointments!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Sonobello of Columbus. Dr Brownstein was very thorough and even called personally the day after surgery to check in. All the staff were very polite and helpful. I had heard terrible things about the Cincinnati office so was a bit nervous about going through Sonobello at all, but their Columbus office is amazing! Would definitely recommend!!

Fantastic experience: My doctor, Dr. Rex, he has called me twice to check on me. Due to the unexpected pain my appointment has been moved up. The receptionist really assisted me in getting this appointment. The team is remarkable and IF I decide, in the future, to have more work done I pray Dr. Rex is available.

Fantastic experience: I came into sonobello for a surgical consult. After my pre-op discussion with the surgeon, was nervous and apprehensive about having surgery done to remove fat around my abdomen hips and lower abdomen.. there was a lot of information to go over and I needed lots of clarification and repeated communication to fully understand. Thanks to Jamie Bryon Patient Care Consultantfor helping me understand procedures and pricing, She was patient was kind and thorough. She spent extra time to explain things to me and we worked on the best surgical/procedural and financial plan for me to be on my way to look and feel better about myself.

Fantastic experience: I had my surgery at the Columbus facility. I’m almost three weeks post op… still sore and healing but I’m very pleased with my results so far. RN Ashley has been a god sent with my post op care. My Dr. had great bedside manner and was very good at answering my questions and making me feel comfortable. The other women at this facility are very kind and do a great job. For the price I can say it’s definitely worth it. It’s a life changer for me. Thank you.
