Fantastic experience: Great gym
Negative experience: Sauna is down frequently, which is not a big problem but the app is never updated with that info. They should post updates on app when major things like sauna or showers are down. When I gave that feedback to Jordan (front desk employee) - her attitude was 'not my problem I just work here! Tell ur guys to stop pouring water on the equipment!' I will give her the benefit of doubt and hope it wasn't meant to be racist.

Negative experience: So, I was looking for a gym to come in with my boys and no one said anything about a commitment for a year or so that is linked to your card, when I came to the comments I saw a lot of people talking about this issue and I was like ok I need to make a decision if I really like this gym to commit for 1 year and I realize I did not want to, feeling good since I knew about this contract I went ahead and cancel, comes up they charge me anyways.. I call got refunded apparently it was an honest mistake, well the next month they charge me again, and here I’m trying to get my refund, is just bad, be sure you want to come to the gym for one year, the gym is ok few thing can be improved but not that bad, payment and commitment to one year sucks

Negative experience: Black mold in the hot tub needs to be remediated before health issues start. Here is video of a 42 day progression of the growth of the black mold in the hot tub area. 11/24/2024 @Onelife fitness is getting better. They have almost cleaned all of the mold. Come on one life you’re almost there.
Negative experience: I wish I could not even give one star. They have 12 month contract and somehow they dont't even mention explicitly anywhere? They should at least make the terms and condition more explicit so the person is aware of what they are getting into. I wish I had read reviews from others before signing up. Such a bad experience.
Hello Anu, We are very sorry for any confusion regarding our membership agreement. It looks like you signed up online in August. We do require acknowledgement of the 12-month contract before an individual is able to complete the sign up for the membership. Our Member Services department has sent you the required steps to cancel due to relocation. Once we receive the documentation we can proceed with your cancellation request.
Negative experience: At first it started out well, I paid for the annual, then when I switched to monthly I asked one of account managers if I can cancel at anytime. She said yes. Turns out the monthly is a 12 month contract where you can’t cancel without a fee. When I try to cancel my membership they don’t tell you clearly the next steps, they vaguely tell you in lawyer language to look at the contract that you signed. Bruh, just tell me straight the steps to cancelling without beating around the bush. The other negative reviews are true, they are not open and honest about the money. Very shady behavior. Just know what you’re getting into. Other than that the gym is okay. I like the Dawsonville location a lot more. They have a clean facility and equipment is up to date.
Negative experience: DON’T SIGN UP if you wish to not get scammed. They don’t mention anything about a 12 MONTH contract until you wanna cancel. The people act like they can’t do anything about it either. Customer support sucks too. Also gotta mention that you will be charged $20 extra if your payment doesn’t go through. Then you gotta pay a $59 buy out fee to cancel alongside your monthly. DON’T SIGN UP NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!
Positive experience: Main complaint is the locker facilities. Several of the Showers are constantly inoperable. The single handles just spin because the splines are stripped out. The maintenance people just tighten it down so it last about a day. JUST REPLACE THE STEM AND THAT WILL FIX IT!!!!! It’s a large place but typically very busy so it’s often difficult to use the specific equipment that you want. Not enough benches No complaints with the staff who are friendly. Not a bad place, but FIX THE SHOWERS!!

Negative experience: Very nice people . lots of equipment but so crowded every time I come, I can’t get in a full workout. Sauna is too small for a gym this size. Broken lockers and broken showers. I regret joining here now. While I really appreciate your response, I’ve come twice more and nothings changed. I can’t get in a workout because of still broken equipment and the shower area is still the same. 8/24/24…Went to the front desk today to enquire when the shower area was going to be repaired as only 3 of 7 showers were working that day and the front desk said they knew nothing about the shower problems. Other peoples reviews ( including my own) made me question his answer. When I questioned him further I felt like I was getting the runaround. Never know if I can count on getting a shower after a workout or not and other members said this had been going on for months. When I told the manager I was going to record the problem in reviews if he couldn’t tell me when the repairs would be made,, he told me to go ahead.. Not happy with the attitude or the facility at this time. 9/14/24.. been nearly 2 months since I joined and not a single repair has been made . there are lots of top lockers that don’t have bottoms in them and what that means is that if you put your things in the bottom locker, all someone has to do is open the top door and they can reach down and get your wallet or keys or anything else 9/28/24. I’ve given up. The locker room has broken doors and literally doors torn off and barely half the lockers are even useable.. Cockroach running across the sauna floor last week…

Negative experience: Nice facility at first glance, once you start using the equipment you’ll quickly realize how poorly maintained and blown out most of the equipment is.

Negative experience: The lady who used to work there was very rude and misbehaved. She treated me with a nasty attitude to take a picture of my face. She looked very scary and untrustworthy. I wish I know her name , Even the other people who work in front desk do not have a nice attitude at all

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for about a year now and it's one of the best decisions I ever made. Friendly staff and a wide range of equipment. More popular things like the bench press can get backed up during peak times, but that's gonna be the case anywhere. The $40 a month membership gets you a body composition analysis once a month. Adam went through mine with me and made sure that I understood all of the results I was reading. Super friendly and informative guy. Most employees there are. No plans to cancel anytime soon.

Negative experience: Has a lot of potential but the disarray of the free weight section is horrible. Machines are so close you can’t even grab weights off the weight holder. Weights are scattered around everywhere with no order! Could be a great gym if management takes pride of their equipment. Recently joined but won’t renew membership.
Negative experience: Club was great when I started. Slowly started degrading and it’s complete trash now. Pls save your money and go to a better place that helps enhance your health and not just steal money. They do advertise a cheaper monthly fee compared to other gyms which is attractive in the area, but they also do charge a club enhancement fee for each person on the contract, while there is really no enhancement done to the facility. Very disappointed.
Fantastic experience: Lots of equipment, friendly staff, all age groups (I'm a senior), facilities are kept clean, large parking lot. Been going since mid-2107 (except for the Covid months/years). For me, a typical photo on treadmill after 30-minutes cardio with 5-minute cool down. 5-days a week, each day about 2-miles on the treadmill.
Positive experience: Amazing gym with incredible amenities. Ended up leaving because it was just way too busy even at 530am.

Negative experience: Just had one of the women who work there completely ignore me. I asked for a towel after standing in line for a few minutes. She said “those are maintenance towels” with disgust in her voice, and then just walked to the back out of sight. I thought she was going to go get a towel but she just never came back lol. The guy at the counter then hands me a towel from under the counter when he’s done with a customer. Wild behavior.

Fantastic experience: One Life Fitness is such a fun, friendly place to work out. From Zumba and a plethora of workout classes to a multitude of weight lifting and cardio machines (even a theater with movies to watch as you exercise) to friendly staff, fitness trainers and a jacuzzi to unwind in... we actually enjoy working out!

Negative experience: worst ever, I simply asked for cancellation of my PT payments last year. I started getting charged again since last month. Now they say you freezed your account not cancelled it. lesson learnt is never sign anything with gym chains like these. They play with words in agreements and you will not even know , when you start getting charged again TOP OF IT ALL WHEN I CALLED TODAY NOW THEY SAY THEY HAVE CANCELLED IT ALREADY FOR FUTURE MONTHS, GOD KNOW WHAT KIND OF CANCELLATION THEY DID THIS TIME, MIGHT CHARGE ME AGAIN NEXT YEAR

Positive experience: Please clean the lockers, jacuzzi area. Jacuzzi is absolutely disgusting and obviously hasn’t been cleaned in years. Gym equipment is fine but takes years to fix things the staff is friendly

Negative experience: Called the number of the gym to pay a bill I received. Turns out it is a call center trying to get you to sign up for one of those ridiculous programs that is only $1.95 but will auto renew unless you cancel within 15 days. They wouldn't even route me to a customer service person so I could pay my bill!! What a scam

Fantastic experience: * Update * I encountered difficulties while trying to cancel my membership, but the General Manager, Jessica, efficiently resolved my problem and handled my case professionally. The only reason I had to cancel my membership is that I found a gym closer to my job. Thank you for your help and assistance.

Negative experience: The location is convenient especially if you are on the West side of Forsyth County. That being said, the gym has a few years on the physical plant / equipment and issues aren't addressed in a timely manner. A number of pieces of equipment have been down for a couple months, the sauna is down so far going on 2 weeks, showers are breaking down or only have hot water and lockers are broken. Men's locker is often nasty and in need of cleaning. Going to venture farther to go someplace where it is more enjoyable to workout and members appreciated.

Negative experience: So I’ll probably never leave this gym for starters, they are very fairly priced, & the staff here is typically phenomenal. I have built many relationships with the trainers & many members. However, recently they’ve had a female cleaning the male locker rooms during business hours which I find ridiculous. I don’t find it appropriate that a woman be cleaning where men are getting naked & showering. Address that please.
Negative experience: The gym itself is fine, but they obviously don’t enforce any sort of dress code here. There’s a guy who walks around with shorts so short his junk is pretty much hanging out. Nobody wants to see that. Not to mention the massive amounts of teenagers that hog equipment and then don’t put away their weights when they’re done. Staff never leaves the front desk so they’re oblivious to these issues

Negative experience: Just joined after relocating from CO. First impressions; 1) equipment is old, most appear to be at the end of their useful life cycle. I’ll be frustrated if I continue to get charged enhancement fees and nothing changes. 2) Cleanliness needs to be improved, gym is pretty grimy in a lot of areas. Lockers are gross. 3) The plates are ancient and rubber is falling off most of them - have to be replaced. 4) it’s ALWAYS crowded. Hordes of high school kids hover around machines for an hour at a time - little consideration or gym etiquette. I want everyone to be able to work out, but a lot of them don’t understand how a gym works. 5) Barbells are always out of place, which is mostly on the customers. People need to put things away. That’s the bad. The gym has a decent footprint and there aren’t really any machines they don’t have. It has a good layout and the staff has been great. For the amount of money they’re bringing in (based on the crowds) they should make this a much nicer gym. Kinda feels like an Anytime Fitness rather than a high-end gym like (some) LA Fitness’ I’ve belonged to. EDIT: I’m writing this from inside the gym. 2/6 cable machines have been broken for 3+ weeks with no attempt at repair. Now instead of 10 people waiting for each cable, there are 20. Unreal. If there were another large gym nearby this place would lose 1/2 its business overnight.

Negative experience: I have been a Onelife member for over 4 years now. This was instantly my favorite gym I have ever step foot in. Over the years, the Vickery location has tanked in quality. From cleanliness, to upholding the rules/regulations/policies set forth, and maintenance of equipment. Just one prime example of what I’m talking about.. there was a REGULAR in there today stretching and doing his workout completely barefoot, and not just for a short period of time, he was barefoot for atleast an hour and moving about like it was his damn home or something. Not one damn employee said a word to him, and I purposefully didn’t say anything just to see if the staff would intervene and tell this individual that’s against the rules for more reasons than just one. Well, that never happened. It’s also amusing how many of the Vickery regulars I have seen starting to migrate to the Dawsonville location, and there is a definitive reason for that.

Negative experience: Used to be the best gym I had ever belonged to. As an everyday gym user it's very sad to see it's decline. Present owners seem to have no interest in anything but bleeding it dry. I don't think they have even visited it recently. Much of the equipment worn out. Rubber mats in freeweight area have come apart. Sound system is so bad it would be better turned off. Lockers all broken up. Machines are scattered around in random fashion, some too close to walk between and others have huge spaces in between, which would accomodate additional equipment, but I won't hold my breath. Teenagers have over-run it and many are disrespectful to other users and abusive to equipment. But the staff never leave the front so are completely unaware or just uninterested. Sigh...
Negative experience: This used to be a nice gym, but has gone way downhill. It is just filthy almost everywhere. It’s honestly scary to fill up my water bottle because the fountains are so disgusting. But there are also serious HVAC and system issues. The AC in the spin studio has been out for over a week without any clear timeline on when it’s going to be fixed. And the stereo system/mic for the instructor is ALWAYS messed up. And the bikes themselves need maintenance too. Many have missing pedal straps/cages or don’t work in other ways. It’s been like this for months. Even though the place is almost always busy, it’s not clear what the management is doing with all the monthly fees and the yearly “enhancement” fee for maintenance. There is NOTHING enhanced about this place right now.

Negative experience: Equipment is in bad shape. The treadmills are liabilities with old worn out belts, some are new some are old. No clue what management does with the extra fee they charge us all yearly for supposedly new equipment. It's simple to fix. Go use each equipe.nt and you will see the flame in it. Mgt step up. Negative experience: I go to this gym every day, but what I don't like is that it's quite inconvenient that they close area four. It's an exercise spot located on the ground floor in the right corner where one wants to do their routine exercises, and it's always closed at five in the afternoon because they hold groups where at most six or seven people participate. That's quite uncomfortable for the rest of the visitors. Please, I suggest that they eliminate those area closures.

Negative experience: What a disappointment! I have been a member since 2010, first at Vickery then Windemere. I have loved using the facility and never had a reason to complain before this. What a shock! I had not been in for months until today and found that the facility is not being maintained or cleaned properly. It starts with the front glass doors covered with fingerprints, some of the equipment not in very good condition, and the locker room needs attention. All of that could be fixed, however I will not go back because of the condition of the pool and hot tub. The hot tub was green, smelly and dead skin and sludge lining the top edge. The pool had dirty tile at the waterline as well. I saw the pool maintenance man and mentioned it to him and he did not seem to care at all. It was absolutely disgusting.wish I had my phone with me to take photos.

Positive experience: Very clean gym overall with a solid aesthetic appeal. Unfortunately the barbells are extremely old. The knurling on all of them aren't sufficient for deadlifts and the lack of chalk can make even light pulls difficult. If you're a casual gym goer, this commercial gym will fit your needs. If you're interested in powerlifting or strongman, take your business elsewhere.
Negative experience: Extremely shady business practices. Be aware that you sign a contract agreeing to a 30 day notice before canceling a membership. In order to cancel your membership you need to give a 30 day notice or they will call you for a cancellation fee every couple days for the rest of your life. Also you have to email some company asking them to cancel your membership, they aren’t able to do it in store. Don’t go here.

Positive experience: Update: I'm updating my review to 4 stars because the gym is a lot cleaner than before. Keep up the good work! Last year's review: What is going on with this Vickery gym? It's filthy, smells awful. Equipment is sticky. Had to use a paper towel to lift the bar. They need a serious crew during the day and overnight to clean everything!
Negative experience: I hate to leave a bad review but this place is lacking the basics. Every surface is dirty, sticky and the gym stinks! The place is overcrowded and it has become a middleschooler/high-schooler playground. Kids travel in group of 4-5 from equipment to equipment and it is almost impossible to grab a rack or bench. I signed up again mainly for the PT but definitely this place it is not what it used to be or what I had in mind. I hope they listen to customers bcs I can see there are many complaints. One last thing...Please!!! please!!!! get rid of the movie room (it is a waste of space... always empty) just dedicate the area for personal training (racks, benches..etc).
Negative experience: This use to be an awesome gym. However, you can tell a majority of the equipment is near its useful life and needs to be swapped out. Simple things you would expect from a top of the line gym like the front doors opening smoothly and the showers working with cold water are not a reality.

Negative experience: They rope you in with a beautiful facility and friendly staff, which it really is. They have a beautiful pool and hot tub, small sauna, nice big locker room, a whole upstairs loftish area with more workout equipment, a dark movie workout room for shy people, free classes, I could go on and on.... but boy do they have an absolutely hellish cancelation process. They charged me nearly 100 bucks after confirming multiple times my membership was canceled (it wasnt) and despite attempts to contact them nothing was ever reimbursed or done about it. I actually requested my bank to cancel that card and send me a new one to stop the charges, so who knows how much longer it would have gone on. And reading the reviews I'm sad to say I'm not the only one who saw a bunch of prolonged charges. Awful! I'm hoping the more people who complain about it, the more they realize this isn't okay and they need to work on their processes. I see why georgia is trying to pass a law to make it easier to cancel gym memberships now- never again. I'll buy equipment for my house.

Negative experience: *UPDATE** I visited one life and it has gotten so much worse. My dad got me a pass to get in and we had a cycling class planned. You’re telling me you now have to RESERVE a bike? This is not only ridiculous but discourages new comers from coming to classes!!! What the HECK one life?! This has been my favorite gym for the past three years. I unfortunately have seen this establishment go downhill. I had to move recently and canceled my membership with the email provided by the staff, the charges nor the membership was stopped even after I confirmed it. I got charged for two months I was not even there. It was not refunded even when requested, I have the confirmation that my account was canceled and they would not give me a refund. I used to go to the gym everyday greeted by sweet staff. The services have gone utterly downhill, the establishment is still clean that’s all the positives I have to say. I hope you guys get it back together Onelife.

Negative experience: Pros: -Women's locker room is fairly clean -Equipment variety (if it works) is decent -Cleaning wipes available (if they're stocked) -Nice size gym Cons: -Equipment is often broken -Showers lack hot water -Mens locker area is not clean We've been going here for years and it's gone downhill fast. A LOT of cardio equipment have signs on them that they're broken. There is a sign when you walk in that new equipment is on the way but this has been like this for awhile. If I was a new prospect signing up and saw this I would not sign up. If the movie room cardio equipment works, then swap out the bad equipment on the main floor. The women's showers have cold water frequently but are at least fairly clean. I've heard from my husband the men's locker area is not clean and he goes every day. I used to see people going around cleaning but now that covid standard protocols are over I rarely see anyone clean anymore they're usually chatting up front at the desk. Does the front desk really need 5 people at all times? I filled out the survey each time so none of this is new feedback, you usually get the same canned response back. We liked this gym because its location but if they don't have equipment to even use then I'll have to look for another gym soon.
Fantastic experience: Been a member for 4 years and love the services! Especially the hydro massage! Recently training with Derrick my personal trainer and he is Fabulous! Focuses on your goals,gives you a workout that is best suited for your body and patiently helps you! It’s been 2 weeks and I already feel the difference in my body! Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I've been using a trainer this time around at the gym. I was paired with Derrick Morrow. He’s been great. I told him what my goals were and he’s been tailoring my workouts accordingly. He’s a great motivator! He’s got me doing exercises that I never would have thought of doing.

Negative experience: Routine maintenance is severely lacking... Plumbing sinks, showers, frequently broken and not fixed diligently. Showers always smell like dirty, unchanged mop-water, even after they just finished cleaning stalls. THEY USE OLD DIRTY WATER! Can't be healthy. Towels are frequently unavailable,, not washed!
Negative experience: Big thumbs down to trainer Julian. Probably should understand emotional intelligence if you're trying to sell your training services. Trying to body shame women is not a very good way of gaining new clients.
Negative experience: Gym is ok, however thier policy to suspend monthly fee is awful. If you are going out of town during subscription period for 2-3 months and you want freeze the monthly payment, there is no way, still you will get charged for freeze. Everyone should know about these cancellation policies. My bad, I didn't other reviews here beforing signing up.. pls think thrice before taking decision.. Another important thing, read agreement carefully, if you are signing for agreement for an year, you are locked. You cannot cancel your membership, you need to pay $59 to cancel the membership in between the year or pay the monthly fees till end of the membership year.

Fantastic experience: Big upscale gym with a laid back vibe. This is where I go when I come into town. The people at the front desk are always super friendly. The locker rooms are always clean. The place has an awesome variety of equipment and suits my needs. I’m a competitive bodybuilder so I’m picky. Look forward to coming back when I visit for Thanksgiving.

Negative experience: They never offer evening yoga classes, but they only open the yoga studio up if an instructor is there. Weird...they dont do it with the spin cycle room nor the group fitness, which sgain classes are only offered in the mornings. Their child care hpurs are inconvenient. The tanning beds are disgusting. They are only cleaned by members. The change over in staff including management is crazy. The theater room is always full of supplies, or dirty old water bottles that sit for weeks. It's being ran by teens and it shows.

Negative experience: Go somewhere else. I’ve never had colder showers IN MY LIFE, but the worst are the people talking on their cell phones either without headphones or listening to music with no headphones so you hear EVERYTHING!!! Ruins workouts, makes me want to cancel but the last time I tried to, they made my life hell. PUT UP SIGNS THAT SAY NO MUSIC WITHOUT HEADPHONES AND TAKE YOUR PHONE CALLS OUTSIDE LIKE PEOPLE WITH COMMON DECENCY WOULD!!!!! STOP BEING SCARED OF THE MEMBERS DISRESPECTING OTHER MEMBERS!!!
Negative experience: Well I would have given this gym a 5 star as the facility is very nice… however, if you ever go to cancel your Membership your in for some possible headaches. So me and my fiancé signed up together at the same time. From my understanding we each had separate account numbers. We are relocating to Florida, we both submitted our cancellation request in writing to the email that was provided. They canceled my fiancé‘s no problem then asked if they would like to cancel me as I’m an associate member under his account. We replied back yes please cancel both of us. They processed his cancellation without a problem but then came back and said I need to show proof of relocation which includes a very standardize checklist such as lease utility bill military orders a letterhead from a new employer pay stubs etc. when I asked why I need to show proof of relocation and Brandon does not I was not given any answer they skipped right over that . normally this would not be a problem, however our relocation is not “typical”. We are relocating to Florida this week and living in our RV at a monthly campground. I sent them our RV reservations explain the situation that we will not have a lease as we are living in the RV that we own I also provided them documentation of notice to our current landlord canceling our current Georgia lease as well as announcements that we have moved the business that we personally own. Since that criteria did not fit their standardized checklist they will not cancel my membership. The only way to cancel this is through a pricey buy out. As you can imagine with moving the last thing I wanna deal with is going back-and-forth on a gym membership as I have boxes to pack. I bit the bullet so to speak, paid the cancellation buyout fee which I feel is wrong and poor business practices as we are truly relocating. Hence what’s urged me to write this review.Unfortunately for one life, due to this Cancelation process, I will not be a future customer ever again. It’s very short sighted - Capturing my 90+ buy out but loosing me as a forever customer. Just sad b/c I really enjoyed this gym.
Negative experience: First let me start by saying the gym itself is great, however if you ever try to cancel your membership you will be hit with all sorts of fees through some second hand processing company that has atrocious customer service. We moved out of state and simply tried to cancel our membership only to have these guys nail us to the wall with fees etc. If there is a Onelife fitness in Florida, I would never join again simply on the poor business practice we experienced here in Georgia. I hope this review will help others before making a decision.
Negative experience: I have had a heck of a time trying to cancel a membership they allowed my 16 year old daughter entered into. I tried to cancel this membership and they are requiring documents like a rental agreement, tuition receipt, military deployment, a place of employment on company letter head, etc. My daughter is a high school student and the staff allowed my kid to enter into a some kind of contract. My daughter has moved to NC, so I went to the gym and asked to cancel and pay the last payment. I was told by the staff that I just had to email ABC Fitness to ask for cancelation. Not only will they not do it, they are also now charging my card monthly without permission. ABC Fitness tried to call and speak to the manager and they said no manager on duty. I am know trying to buy out this membership. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these scammers who prey on your children to increase memberships. Shameful business practice. I am also currently looking into it with my attorney to see if a minor can enter into an agreement like this. Regardless they have zero integrity. One Life and Anytime has had the ability to do the right thing but they choose to make $59 a month instead.

Negative experience: Do not start a contract with this gym! They make the cancelling process hell. I was charged $90 to buyout my membership. Two times the workers at the Vickery told me it would be $50. They are wrong it’s a $60 buyout then they charge you for the month as well. Don’t forget about the $40 one time fee they charged me June 18th. I’m paying $90 on top of the $40 to cancel a membership to a gym I no longer want to go to. Their customer service is very unhelpful and short as well.

If they violate my privacy like that as a nonmember, I can't imagine ever actually giving them my financial information for billing and how that might be abused or sold. Positive experience: I really like this gym; the staff, the members, and the facility were really good. They are not perfect, but they seemed to care enough to keep the place running fairly smooth. The equipment as well is pretty good, until it breaks. On average it would take roughly 2 weeks to fix. So you would have to find a work around for your workout. Luckily, they have a good variety of equipment so it was never a deal breaker. The also had a good tendency to open earlier than their schedule mentioned, so as someone that attended early in the morning, that was always a welcomed trend. Where they lost me was on the cancellation policy. All the things we made sure were not apart of the of our "contract" at the beginning with the staff member, suddenly emerged when we went to cancel due to a surgery and an out of state move. It has become an acceptable trend for gyms to have a lucrative cancellation process and policy with hidden fees, and this gym is no different. At least for us, they required a 30 day notice to cancel (which we had been informed of), along with a 60$ cancellation fee per contract, which was news to us. If you are cancelling due to a move, than they require a billing statement as proof of that move. So for my wife and my self, we went from no cancellation fees, to 120$ to cancel our member ships. This is not about the money, but about principle. I was trusting the staff upon signing the contract, which in retrospect, was the wrong choice. Next time I will ask for written proof of the cancellation policy. To spite this, the gym is by far one of the best in the area, hands down. The crowd was fairly serious, committed, and diverse in age and ability, so I got comfortable very quickly, as well familiar with seeing the same faces every week, which was motivating. I will seriously miss this gym and those that attended there.
Negative experience: Don't sign up unless you're sure you NEVER want to cancel. We've called, emailed, and attempted SO many times to cancel. They are ruthless. They give you a phone number, that gives you another phone number, that leads to a website, that directs you to a phone number that directs you to an email address that they neglect to answer for a few months, then you find yourself submitting fraud claims to your bank and trying to change your account info in order to get them to stop charging you. utterly disgusting way of trying to pick your pocket for a few extra months. It's a shame, I probably would have re-joined this gym if they hadn't been so sketch.

Negative experience: Not bad if you like cold showers. Hot water sporadic or not at all for last two months. MULTIPLE people have addressed this with management with no results. Our membership fees are paid a month in advance, so we aren't getting what we are paying for. I wonder if the owner would go two months at home with no hot water?

Fantastic experience: I love the fitness center. My only suggestion is to encourage time limitation for all equipment excuding treadmills and pedal equipment. The after-school teen 'hulks' like to hang in groups an hog equipment. Many times I have noticed people sit on equipment and either text or speak on phones. This seems unfair and should be noted as a courtesy suggestion to all.

Negative experience: My wife and I have been members of this gym for last 3 years. Supported the business throughout the pandemic by not canceling or pausing our membership even without visiting for a single day in last 2 years. Went there for the first time today with my son and his friend. Had a really rude staff (Katie) at the reception asking for an ID from my son’s friend and $10 just for him to check out the gym amenities (not even use any). She had the worst attitude for someone to be in a customer facing role. Even my son told me that he felt insulted in the way she talked to us. She was extremely prompt to hand over the application form for canceling my membership without even asking for a reason to cancel. Wish they had retained the courteous staff who always greeted members with smiles when I was regularly visiting before the pandemic.

Negative experience: Great gym BUT for the love of creatine tell the Zone4 instructors the music is WAY too loud. Onelife needs to consider closing that training zone in or setting a limit to the loudness of the zone4 music. Between that and the regular house music mixing together it’s insanely loud clear across the whole gym - even with headphones and super distracting.

Today i was invited to your gym by a member of your gym and my friend said come to my gym today I pay $20 per month and maybe i can help get you the same price. Once i arrive we begin asking the front desk girl who is running the show and we start inquiring about the $20 membership which i clearly can see through her rude facial expression that the $20 membership doesnt exist and itd an old. Grandfathered price but she is not even listening to us or looking at us eye to eye she is simply shaking her face no no no and staring at the ceiling as if we were bothering for even attempting to ask her for that pricing. So within one minute of that interaction I simply said forget it , I will go to the dawsonville bew location and get their new promotional price of $24.99 no problem at all. I then asked her can you help me open up an account with that special pricing and she said yeah but we will be on the phone all day long attempting to make that happen , I will give you the number and you can just call yourself….. really? Like who even says i dint think thats a great idea because I have to call it in for you and we will be in the phone all day long??? Thats just horrendous. I am a VP of client account sales and customer service is literally my life and bread and butter and I am passionate about good service and this was one of the worst experiences ever especially being a new resident of the state of Georgia , it left such a bad taste in my mouth. You work there, do your job nicely and to the best of your ability, you dont even have to help me with the specisl pricing because theirs rules and protocols and I understand that fully but treat me with respect and help me find a solution and if you hate your job that much that you cant be great at what you do then find another job. Negative experience: The Vickery location is partaking in the illegal action of price gauging. If you wish to sign up for One life do so at other locations. The membership is universal. The attached pictures so that the Vickery location is charging their clients more than other locations.
