Fantastic experience: I found Acuworx through a google search when I was looking for acupuncture places in Jersey City. I was in need of a closer location after still going into the city for acupuncture, which made consistency a challenge. I didn't know what to really expect, but it seemed like it would be a good spot to try. Turns out it's way way better than good. It's been an amazing experience from the space to the to even the ease of the scheduling process (including reschedules and wait list notifications/updates). I've been working with Dr. Matt, and he's been super flexible and understanding with my treatment as I am not coming in with just one or two things to treat. I really appreciated his thoroughness in the beginning to really understand the full picture of the state of my health and his continued understanding with the ups and downs I experience as someone managing chronic pain along the way. Additionally, I've appreciated the accommodations made since my first few sessions as someone who is sensitive to light and scents. It has really made me feel like my experience is truly personalized, and I highly recommend Acuworx to anyone looking for a place to build their acupuncture treatment in Jersey City.

Fantastic experience: Acuworx and Dr. (Victoria) Han are the absolute BEST. I was dealing with a major cyst issue that has been extremely painful. I’ve seen multiple OBGYN’s and they have been extremely unhelpful. Like most women’s health issues, there is so much that they still don’t know and just provide zero help or relief with. Dr. Han has been the opposite - she created a treatment plan for me and has been so consistent, kind, supportive all the way through. Fantastic experience: I’m about 30 sessions in since Feb 2024 and I don’t think I’ll ever NOT do acupuncture. Acuworx has played such a pivotal role in my healing journey. I have seen 3 of the skilled doctors here, but my regular appointments are always with Dr. Matt. He has a truly special ability to zero in on what the body needs and I have seen really exceptional results. He is very skilled when it comes to herbal treatments and loves a good problem to solve ( which I had many). Acupuncture is a journey and nothing is overnight, however this studio immediately makes you feel at ease and has been an incredible addition to my functional healthcare. Fantastic experience: I absolutely love coming to Acuworx Acupuncture Studio. From the moment you walk into the center, you feel instantly at ease. A sense of deep relaxation will wash over you. I book acupuncture sessions for everything. I would like to highlight one session in particular: I was recovering from my second major spinal fusion surgery in October 2023, and I was having intense and debilitating muscle spasm pain in my paraspinal muscles. The pain was so bad that I could barely step in and out of my tub shower without my upper back muscles seizing up. My surgeon told me to take a muscle relaxant and specifically told me NOT to do any acupuncture. I decided to listen to my intuition and booked an acupuncture treatment anyway. I worked with Genie that day, and my muscle spasms were completely relieved and never came back! I could have cried with happiness. I’m so Happy that I listened to my intuition and decided to utilize acupuncture. I have personally worked with Matt, Genie, Victoria, and Giselle. They are each a pleasure to work with and all have their unique knowledge about the body. I use acupuncture when I have a cold, fatigue, GI problems, headache, back pain, nerve pain, stress, etc. I have had amazing sessions 100% of the time. 10/10 recommend. I love them!!!

Fantastic experience: RUN, don’t walk to Acuworx. It’s the best acupuncture clinic I’ve ever seen. While I’ve done acupuncture here and there through the years and I’ve been lucky to find stellar practitioners, but here is why Acuworx stands out amongst the best: 1. Doctors - I see Dr. Han, but Dr. Matt, Giselle and others are stellar as well. 2. Healing vs. treatment - Dr. Han starts every treatment focused on healing, a light head massage, essential oil or breathing exercises may kick off our session. Post treatment she may even customize with moxa herb treatment that is game changing. Dr. Matt recommended herbal supplements and books (I ask a lot of questions) that are affordable and informative. It’s never about sticking the needles in and done. They are pros on holistic healing. 3. Vibe - the office is clean, peaceful and has an unmatched aesthetic. 4. Accept insurance - while this is subject to your specific benefits, etc. finding a place that doesn’t make you figure out insurance paperwork and reimbursement, by yourself is VERY helpful and saves time & $$! This place is game changing!

Fantastic experience: Let me preface by saying I've only been engrossed in the world of Chinese medicine for a little over two years, and Dr. Matthew Fellner was one of the first to introduce acupuncture and the complexities of channel connections within the body to me. I've met several practitioners and instructors along my acupuncture journey, and Dr. Fellner's ability to recognize patterns and pathomechanisms is unparalleled. He has a strategic, analytical mind that seeks the root of my individual concerns with every treatment. I'm guessing his nearly two decades of Qigong is why I feel the sensation of qi when he selects acupuncture points. I've only been his patient since March 2023, but my body and mind feel more in sync than ever before. He's also a licensed herbalist, and after 2-3 weeks of the herbs he prescribed, I haven't suffered from acute cramps related to my menstrual cycle since. I'll add that Acuworx has been my favorite clinic experience to date. Color schemes have a profound effect on how I feel, and their environment feels warm and zenspired while still being pristine and organized. The staff always give me a reason to smile, too; the front desk is kind and welcoming, and the office staff are transparent and knowledgeable with any and all inquiries. Even if I walk in with a grimace from the stress of the day, I'm smiling by the time I leave. Very grateful to and for Acuworx and Dr. Fellner. My experience has been nothing short of wonderful. She is so pleasant and knowledgeable; she really listens to her patients. Do this for yourself.

Fantastic experience: I took my mom here because she was suffering from digestive issues, hemorrhoids, lack of energy, and overall had body aches that started to affect her everyday. After about 6 sessions, Genie Zhu managed to give my mom her energy back, got rid of the hemorrhoids, and reduced about 90% of the pills my mom was taking daily - it was surprising to see how much my mom’s health improved without depending on them the way she used to. Genie is very patient, caring, and knowledgeable, she has the qualities that every ill patient needs from a doctor - she listens, asks questions, and will make you feel comfortable to open up about health issues. This place is about an hour away from my home but it’s so worth it, I’ll always be grateful for everything Genie has done for my mom.

Fantastic experience: I find acupuncture to be profoundly relaxing and stimulating. Acuworx offers the best studio, staff and experiences I could ask for. Their treatment rooms are cozy. The 3 acupuncturists I've seen have all been attentive, thorough and professional. I've never waited more than a minute or two before my sessions and I've always felt better after I've left. If it's possible for you, go with their package deals; they are a great way to get extended treatment and they'll save you some money in the long run. They even work with some insurance and HSAs, so make sure you ask about it. I'll keep coming back as long as I'm in Jersey City.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Genie for a few weeks to help with women’s things and TMJ. She takes time to fully explain acupuncture, her process, and other practices including breathing exercises and foot baths to help you in your healing journey. I highly recommend Genie and Acuworx. I’ve also attended an event at Acuworx that incorporated qigong, sound bath, and acupuncture and enjoyed that experience.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Acuworx for a little over a year and have had such a positive experience. More recently, I have been seeing Genie. She’s incredibly thorough, kind, and inquisitive as she wants to makes sure treatment the treatment is truly personalized and aids in whatever it is I have going on - stress, lack of sleep, specific areas of pain, tinnitus, etc. Her use of cupping is also one that has been extremely helpful. The studio itself is inviting and relaxing, especially ending each session with a warm tea. The staff is personable and caring. I really cannot say enough good things.

Fantastic experience: I have been here many times before and always enjoyed my experience but today the staff went above and beyond to help me. I came in with a terrible back spasm and Dr. Tomiko spent an extra 30 minutes to help me through the pain. When I got up from the table I felt dizzy, lightheaded, and as if I was about to pass out. The staff came to my rescue and gave me water and something to eat. They even provided a gluten free option when I requested it. Fantastic experience: I'm currently performing in a Shakespeare play in which I do a lot of swordplay. I've been coming to Acuworx for a variety of reasons, and this most recent visit was the usual level of exceptional! Dr. Tamiko did such a great job working with the issue I came in with, was incredibly receptive and so excited that I was an actor, haha! I cannot recommend AAS enough. The entire staff are always so welcoming and friendly, and they very much know what they're doing. I try to work them in at least once a month, and am very much looking forward to my next appointment!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Dr. Tamiko Kato at Acuworx for 4 months now. This was the second time in my life I was trying acupuncture and I wasn’t too sure if it was the right therapy for me. But I can say confidently, it has just been the right solution for me. Fantastic experience: As soon as I found out my mom had an aggressive form of cancer, I decided to get acupuncture to deal with the shock of the diagnosis. I am so grateful that I got Emily as an acupuncturist, and have been coming every week since my first visit. Fantastic experience: I was reading reviews on this place, and thought how could this be real? 5 out of 5? Well, let me tell you! They are really 5 out of 5. Beautiful and clean studio. Amazing team. The online scheduling is easy to use. They text you a reminder for your appointments. Panos is the best accupunturist I ever been treated with. The excruciating pain on my neck and shoulder area are now gone. I still go in for weekly treatment for my mental well being. My daugher comes with me for treating bad circulation on her legs. She is so happy with how she feels now.

Fantastic experience: My first ever acupuncture experience was with Acuworx, and nearly a year later, I'm still at it. Emily (and previously Alex) have played a huge part in keeping my neck and back pain under control. The setting at Acuworx is friendly and calming, making it easy to relax during each treatment. The support staff is excellent, and whether it comes to scheduling or billing/insurance, they go out of their way to make everything as seamless as possible.

Fantastic experience: I came to Acuworx, as this studio was recommended by my fertility doctor. The studio has a very calming presence. It was my first time going through Acupuncture treatment and I have become a fan. I have been seeing Dr. Tamiko for few weeks now and I already sense a change in my energy. She does a thorough examination, and asks you questions at every appointment, and thereafter focuses the treatment on the areas of concern. Fantastic experience: Awhile back I hurt my shoulder from overuse. After doing some physical therapy which had been helping, my doctor recommended acupuncture as well and pointed me to Acuworx. I didn’t really know what to expect since I’ve never done this before. I have to say, slowly but surely I can still feel my shoulder improving thanks to this!
