Fantastic experience: Watchung is truly an amazing practice, in every way. It feels like a well-oiled machine. The nurses/docs are super fast to respond on the portal for questions or same-day appointment requests. You never sit in a waiting room. The walk-in hours are fantastic to get something checked before school. The drive-thru flu clinic couldn’t be easier. All of that efficiency does not take away from the amount of time and care each provider spends with you. I think my 3 kids have seen every provider there, and we’ve been happy with all! Dr. Eng is a gem of a human and amazing physician. He truly cares about his patients in every way. He’s seen us through some tough times, and we know he’s there to discuss any and all concerns. Dr. Alias had the most thorough well visit with my daughter, focusing on all aspects of health and development. She loved her! They don’t need any more 5 star reviews, but they certainly deserve it!
Positive experience: Overall really happy with my experience the staff was super helpful and patient with my 6 year old who was not happy about getting her flu shot! They took the time to engage her which I really appreciated!

Fantastic experience: I managed to screw up the timing of my kids’ annual visits such that they wouldn’t have their school forms in time. The office very kindly moved things around at the last minute to squeeze us in with our preferred provider, Jessica Haines. (She’s amazing!) She did the school forms right there, so we had them for school the next day. So helpful!

Fantastic experience: I never have any issues when scheduling or coming into the office whether it be a scheduled visit or a sick visit all the nurses and doctors are great we have been patients for about 7yrs. Both my children attend with no issues.
Fantastic experience: Our family has gone to the Watchung Pediatrics (Millburn office) for over 5 years, since the birth of our first child. We have since had two other children and brought them here as well. Dr. Alias was usually our primary doctor, and I would try to schedule all of my children's well visits with her. She is friendly, thorough, knowledgable, and realistic when it would come to our kids' illnesses, needs, growth, and development. She would call or message as a follow up if something particularly concerning happened with one of our kids, and was helpful in providing specialist recommendations when needed. We recently moved out of town and traveling to their offices is not as convenient. I will genuinely miss having Dr. Alias as my kids' primary doctor and the helpfulness of the staff at that office. We also saw Dr. Eng on occasion, who I also thought was professional, thorough, and easy to get along with. I would recommend this pediatric practice highly to anyone in need of a new doctor for their children.

Fantastic experience: We love Watchung pediatrics and have been with them since my 3yr old son was born. They are very easy to contact in the patient portal for questions and we can always get a same day sick appointment or go to their walk in clinic.
Fantastic experience: I absolutely love it here! I have never once waited in the waiting room for my appt & never even had to wait for a nurse or doctor more than 5-10 minutes. We switched from an office that would have us wait an hour in the waiting for & another 30-45 mins in the room for the doctor so I am in HEAVEN! The APN Chelsea is an Angel, she is truly the best! She listens, understands and HELPS! I would recommend Watching Pediatrics 10 times over

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been a patient of Watchung since she was a baby. Ive never had any issues with them. They are so caring, so respectful, so empathetic; from the doctors, to the nurse practitioners to the nurses, the medical assistants, the front desk staff, simply everyone!! We recently saw Chelsie APN; as my daughter is now a bit older and “chooses” who she wants to see. Chelsie is so professional, so caring, builds great rapport with her patients and cares so much to address all parents and childs’ concerns! We are very comfortable with seeing all the providers in this practice. As a mother; health care provider myself… I trust them all with my greatest treasure. Thank you.
Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Watchung Pediatrics. Dr. Alias has taken care of both of my two kids for over 3 years now. She always goes above and beyond. I never have to worry about whether she has my kids best interest when coming to an appointment because she shows it each and every time she cares for them. Negative experience: Completely disappointed in Dr Alias and the practice today. Have been taking my babies to her for about 3 years. We have never been late or missed an appointment. Today for the first time in 3 years, I was 10 minutes late. Dr Alias denied to see my baby. Dr Alias and the manager of the practice knew that I was traveling and wouldn’t be able to reschedule until I got back in 2 months. I even missed work to take my baby today before our trip. They called me while I was literally parking my car at the office and knew I was about to go to the office for the appointment. I made it to the office since I was already there and still Dr Alias did not want to see my baby. It is saddening to see there is no compassion and no empathy. As a physician myself, this honestly pains me to see that doctors/colleagues can be so apathetic. If you have a trusting relationship with a patient for about 3 years and for the first time they are late and you know they will be out of town and unable to see you for the next few months, you should be able to do your best and try to accommodate them. I even asked the office manager there if my baby could at least be seen my another provider and they said no. I truly hope Dr Alias and the practice change their ways and try to be more compassionate and empathetic in the future with their patients. In this world, we need more kindness, compassion, empathy especially towards our little ones…
Migdalia, I am sorry that you were not able to be seen. Being a patient of ours for 3 years, I'm sure you know that we value the time we spend with you at your well visits. We pride ourselves on spending the time to educate, answer questions and concerns, and not have you feel rushed. So, missing an appointment, especially when you've taken a day off is definitely frustrating. However, as a physician, you are aware that we are always trying to accommodate patients as best we can, but at the same time, it can have drastic impacts on our schedule and the quality of care we provide to not only your child, but following patients as well. Therefore, we always try to best work with you, but unfortunately can't always see you if you are 20 minutes late as our visits are 30 minutes and our next patients are usually here 10-15min early already getting checked in. We can try to schedule you where it's possible (another office or another provider), but that's not always possible as we are also busy with sick visits on top of well visits. We offered the immunizations your child was due for to at least help a little before your travel, but we just couldn't accommodate a full appointment. As you know we have portal messages that you can message questions in the meantime and we will always try our best to reschedule you for a time that works for you. Sorry again, as I know how frustrating certain situations can be, but I can assure you that Dr. Alias and our practice always try our best to accommodate patients when we can and go out of our way to be compassionate and empathetic as we have children of our own. Fantastic experience: November 13 marked my 3rd visit, seeing Dr. Mark Camiello. My experience so far has always been positive. He’s very attentive and listens to my concerns without condescension or discounting validity. That’s important to me as a first time mom because I’m overly sensitive in my decision- making for the baby. The office has a light feel and all the staff so far have been friendly and agreeable. They are very responsive to calls; I’ve never called the line and not had someone answer. The nurse’s line, if not immediately available, always returns my call within a reasonable amount of time. They seemingly have a stellar reputation for service, hopefully this remains consistent.
Negative experience: I’ve been using this practice for my 3 children for 3+ years. On my last 3 visits I’ve waited over an hour to see a dr for a schedule appointment. I never fussed had an attitude NOTHING. Recently because of an emergency I had to cancel my appointment in which I did 2 hours in advanced. Suddenly I received a message in the portal saying I’m being charged $75 fee. Let’s be clear this is the FIRST time…. Life happens and unexpected things come up not always can you call 24-48 hours prior. While speaking the front desk and she said we it’s your first time you shouldn’t be charged the $25 fee. So where did the extra $50 come in why a co pay for a visit that wasn’t even seen. I guess it’s who’s who that depends on what policy is enforced. Because I’ve witness times where parents were late and not turned away or even a being told “we usually only charge no shows after a continuous habit of no shows”. Sad to say but I won’t be returning and I really love Dr. Thompson but the manger here sucks….sorry not sorry
I'm sorry for your experience and for your wait during your appointments to see a provider. I appreciate your patience during those visits as we generally do not have long wait times and pride ourselves on that. Unfortunately with the increased volume of sick visits, waits aren't always unavoidable, but we will try our best as we know how tough it is to wait with an infant. As for the appointment cancellation, we tried to reach out and are always willing to speak to you more about it. We don't charge when it's a first missed appointment, but unfortunately with multiple missed visits we need to because these are slots we can use for other patients that want to be seen earlier. Finally, we understand life happens and that's why we do try to see families even when they are late but it depends on if the provider is available to do so. We pride ourselves on the time we spend with our patients so rushing through an appointment is not what we do. Also, we need to be fair for appointments afterwards so that they aren't waiting long. That is why it doesn't seem consistent. We are always trying to accommodate, it's just not possible all of the time. So I'm sorry again that you feel you didn't have a good experience and that you weren't able to stay with us. Fantastic experience: The doctors and NP treat us like family and make us feel so cared for. I had a nightmare experience with another local ped, and Watchung has been out saving grace for routine appointments and sick appointments.
Positive experience: I have been coming to Watchung since my daughter was born. Until Thursday, it has been almost nothing short of great. I feel like it would have continued this way until this past Thursday at my daughters last appointment. They have a strict vaccine policy at Watchung (which I completely understood once I decided to sign up to go here). I don't believe that it means you should bully parents into getting vaccines in the moment if they feel that they want to research a little more or take time to think about what they want to do for THEIR child. They are a bit pushy with the vaccines, and I understand that it is their policy, but if you decide to do what YOU feel like best for YOUR child in the end, it should be fine. You should be bullied or made uncomfortable by your decisions regarding YOUR child. Therefore, if you are willing to do exactly what the doctor is telling you and when without hesitation, this is the place for you. Once you decide to think for yourself and stand your ground, just expect some push back. Overall, it was a good experience. When it came to me wanting to wait for get my child a specific vaccine, I felt bullied, unheard, and unwanted any longer in the office. Pretty disappointed as I pointed this place in the direction of a lot of people.
Negative experience: I arrived at the building at 11:45am for an 11:30am appointment for my 4-month old, with my other two children, due to car issues. However, I didn't make it to the right front desk until noon because I spent about 15 minutes at another entry to the Watchung practice waiting for someone to open the door only to find out that no one works that entry on the floor. This was my first appointment ever with the practice, something they would have known had they bothered to listen to my explanation instead of dismissing me mid sentence. Terrible customer service. First, I would like to apologize you didn't feel like you were heard. It can definitely be stressful coming to an office for the first time after having car trouble. However, although we do try our best to always help accommodate our families, there is only so much we can do with our schedule. We always ask when confirming appointments that all patients try to arrive 15 min early to their appointment, especially new patients due to the paperwork and finding the office. We also pride ourselves on the time we spend with our patients and families during our visits so we can listen to their concerns and spend time addressing them. Therefore, while we try our best, we cannot always accommodate a patient if they are late because it takes away from the quality of their visit as well the as the visit after it. We just don't want to rush a visit, especially for a new patient we need to get to know for the first time. Our staff did our best and was able to reschedule you for next week, but if you have any further concerns you would like to express, please feel free to call the office and I'll be happy to speak to you more on how we can try to make your experience better. We have chosen to have a phlebotomist in our office as a convenience to our patients and the majority of the time, our patients have found this service to be helpful. Fantastic experience: LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEE THIS OFFICE...So professional, thorough exams, and clean...All providers that have seen my children have been so nice and caring. I have never felt rushed and especially love how they have two different areas for patients to be seen and checked in, one for sick visits and one for healthy wellness visits. And I love that bloodwork is done on site. Whenever I have called in or left a note on the patient portal a representative contacts me very quickly. The service is very quick. Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this practice. They also have a nutritionist who is so sweet and patient.

Fantastic experience: Watchung Pediatrics is by far the best pediatrician out there!! Dr Alias has been the doctor to all three of my kids since birth and she truly is the best! All three of my kids actually love going to the doctor so much to the point that my oldest will make something up just to go to the doctor. They truly are amazing!

Positive experience: I don’t do many of review’s however the day we took my daughter to see the MD due to her fever, the CMA forgot to test for flu even though both Covid and flu were ordered. We understand the office is busy and many sick are coming in sick. Can You imagine having to have your nose poke and all due to negligence. As a mother and a nurse, it’s very important to check what you need to complete your task.

Fantastic experience: We are freshly new parents to a baby girl of 7 days. After the hospital, Watchung Pediatrics made sure that we had an appointment as soon as possible for our daughter's first check-up. Upon arrival, we were quickly taken care of. The staff were nice, welcoming and pleasant. The nurses were amazing and listened. The Dr. was attentive, listened to our concerns and questions and responded to each. They even told us to write down any other questions or concerns we may have and they will address it on our next visit. Watchung Pediatrics make us feel comfortable and that our daughter is in great care.
Negative experience: I used to love this office but it seems over the years the service has decline. The millburn office doesn't have any afternoon sick visit making it extremely inconvenient to have to drive all the way to Warren. Also, as the practice increased in size getting a appointment in a timely manner is nearly impossible. The consistency of the providers just doesn't exist. I have been taking my children to this practice for nearly 10 years, but I think it's time to find a new pediatrician who can actually care for my kids when I need them instead of always sending me to pm pediatrics.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to watchung Pediatrics millburn location for almost two years. For one year it was for my older kid and now I have new born experience as well with them. Love everything about them. I have had two other practice before this and I would clearly rank them on top over others overall. Less wait time, quick response system by member portal, easy to schedule appointments and most importantly I love doctor Bahadur. She is very patient and detailed with her explanations to all my concerns.

Fantastic experience: I mainly take my children to the Millburn office cause it’s closer to home, but I’ve taken them to the Warren office quite a few times. Staff are very friendly, always try their best to schedule for the closest availability. Not too long ago, I was able to get my daughter a same day appointment when she found a lump in her breast. It turned out to be nothing. To me, that shows they care. The pediatricians are amazing. They’re very knowledgeable and they don’t over prescribe. At this point, I think I’ve met of all them and it’s always a pleasure. They are indeed the best.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional pediatrician!!! I have been taking my children to Watchung Pediatric before my youngest of three children was born and she is 7 going on 8 years old!! Fantastic experience: My kids had their Well visit recently with Dr Eng. We were running late & he still made room to see the kids. We live an hour away and have tried so many offices near our home. No luck. Dr. Eng truly cares about his patients so to us the distance doesn't matter. Thank you Dr. Eng for all that you do! You want the best pediatrician for your kids, go see Dr Eng!

Fantastic experience: FTM took my newborn for initial appointment and 2 week follow up. Everyone is very friendly, welcoming and approachable. Doctor took her time to answer our questions and provided insight for us as new parents. Had an excellent experience.

Fantastic experience: As a first time mom, the girls working at the front desk, the nurses and the doctors really do such an amazing job with accommodating and making a stressful experience that much easier. Dr. Bahadur was my daughters doctor at St.Barnabas after giving birth and she was nothing but thorough and professional and she is so great at explaining things and giving advice. This office is great. Professional yet welcoming environment!!

Fantastic experience: I love this place, it's all clean and lovely. The pediatricians are very caring. I have been bringing my daughter here for almost 3 years, and now that I have had my second daughter, I will bring her here too.

Negative experience: Great experience when we go for routine but not otherwise. My daughter was vomiting, even at the middle of night, and the doctor was of absolutely no help despite in person visit and followup call. I was sleeping besides her to ensure she doesn’t choke on her vomit and can’t believe there was nothing doctor could do/ recommend. Finally went for an over the counter medication that relieved her system. Utterly disappointed in Watchung and changing to a new dr soon for both my kids.
Hi Imran, I am sorry that you felt you didn't received the care you were looking for while your daughter was sick. I know how difficult a situation it can be to have a sick child and not be able to get something to help them. As pediatricians, it is also really difficult for us to not be able to provide a quick fix for our patients who are sick. Unfortunately, for viruses, most times there are not any medications that can help in even the most distressing times for parents. Despite that, we pride ourselves on spending the time to explain the situation and what to expect during the course of an illness, and anything that may possibly help. We also make sure that we are available for our patients to follow-up if symptoms do not improve by providing different ways to communicate (via portal messages, phone calls, or walk-in hours). I apologize that you feel like we didn't provide this, however, I would like to talk to you further to listen to your concerns and questions if you are able to. Fantastic experience: Dr. Eng is the best he been my son doctor since he was 5 he like family now. My son is 16 and he always super friendly and makes my son comfortable. The staffs at the Millburn office are super nice and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter in for cough and runny nose on a Friday . They immediately diagnosed her with the common cold but for piece of mind offered me a COVID rapid test. She was ready to go to back to school that very Monday. I had the doctor’s note and rapid test results all ready in the patient portal. Dr. Jessica is friendly, professional and detailed oriented. I am extremely happy with this medical office.

Fantastic experience: Loved this place all doctor are awesome and Dr. Alias Vineetha is great to my kids and my other family members, there's never long long wait like other doctors office , so far my experience has been amazing, love the care and concern they put on my kids and how we all keep track of vaccines, grow etc thru patient portal. Quick response thru patient portal about anything results, school notes, update vaccines. Etc. Love it Thank you for making life in this constant running a bit easier with my kids appts.
