Sports Academy

Negative experience: I have been a client at sports Academy for over 8 years and I have referred TONS of people here. The customer service’s from the recovery suite and management has gone down hill. I am also a local business owner and my goal is to make my clients feel valued- I do not feel this establishment cares. I have spent a lot of time here getting to know a lot of the staff, most of which are great. The girl from recovery who will go un named was extremely rude on the phone and management wasn’t much better. I have spent thousands of dollars here and will not go back.

Negative experience: I don't understand why they feel like they can charge you to park to watch middle school basketball? Greedy scum.

Fantastic experience: The Coaches are next level! We live 35 mins away but make the drive out there because my husband is a coach and only wants the best of the best for our daughter. Every coach brings a great energy, we love them all especially Daniel!

Positive experience: Great facility and great coaches! So stoked to have this experience. I’ll be back

Negative experience: I was charged $15 for parking. Never again.

Negative experience: First they said ignore the signs u can ice bath naked, then they get my banned from my BJJ upstairs class. Then kept telling me I'm dismissed after already being in reverse, me asking can you make it safe so I can back out. He says you're dismissed 4 more times, me having to say I'll back out slowly but like could you please move and God bless you. That place is of thuggish and no accountable employees. Whenever asking about the pubs in the ice room and why do I need to know type questions make me think the Bryant won't like it very much.no sir you're dismissed lol

Fantastic experience: Dr Robertson is the best. I hadn't seen him in ten years, and he remembered me- and gave me the same great care o experienced ten years ago. He's patient, kind and knowledgeable. He spent time explaining my condition to me and husband, who flew out from Colorado to see him. Five stars for sure. :)

Negative experience: Avoid their basketball tourneys if your team has integrity. . They don’t validate age and teams flagrantly cheat to win. Harms the mindset of your players.

From the physical therapists to the trainers to the rest of the staff, they take care of me and my entire family and keep us healthy and strong. There is no other fitness and health center that I could recommend, for athletes or everyday individuals alike. I wish I could make this a six-star review!

Fantastic experience: The best! Everyone is wonderful and I am so happy I found such a wonderful training facility.

Negative experience: Do not play in the basketball tournaments at this place. After you pay the $350 team fees the organizers don't enforce the age requirement rules at all. We saw a coach grab a clearly older kid from his older team and give him a jersey to play on his younger team. The cheating was brought to the attention of the employees and they did nothing about it. All they said was "that's something we are working on". However it's been happening here at the place repeatedly over the years and it will never change. The organizers don't care much about the violations because they already have collected all the money from teams anyways. Definitely will not be bringing my money to this place anymore. One more thing, there seems to regularly be fights between parents or coaches there also. By the time the sheriff’s department arrives the conflict/incident is over. Every tournament on the weekends should have 1-2 security guards from Saturday morning through Sunday evening for the entire weekend event to keep the place safer. Makes total sense.

Fantastic experience: Sports Academy from front to back is top notch! Been working out here for years at Body Dynamix with Eddie, who has helped me recover with multiple injuries. The front desk is great, always nice, great communication, easy to work with. Also, the recovery suite at Sports Acadamy is also excellent, great staff and service! Go check it out.

Positive experience: When does the merchandise usually come in after you order? Its been a few weeks and I can't seem to get ahold of anyone. Has anyone bought stuff from here before?

Negative experience: They rebranded and removed Kobe Bryant's nickname after he tragically passed away. They claim to have done so in order to "honor" him and that reasoning doesn't make any sense. After receiving much criticism on their instagram announcement, they turned off the comment section. Overall, it is their personal decision yet a huge insult that is very hurtful. If they truly wanted to continue the Mamba Mentality legacy then this decision wouldn't have been made. Very sad indeed.

Negative experience: Why in the world would you change the name of the gym??? The only reason why it’s popularly grew was because of Kobe and the “mamba” name!!!!

Vanessa and you seemed so lovable and the girls so beautiful watching them grow. I feel so sad for BB and Capri, I hope they grow up to see how amazing you were.
