Positive experience: Nurse Sarah, introduced me to this program the other day, I was so pleased and happy, most of the times it’s so hard for me to go to the doctors, they will ether gas light me or shake their heads at me, I don’t feel like I’m being heard nor help, I really don’t think they want me there, but I thank nurse Sarah for taking the time to talk to me, my first appointment will be soon over the phone, no more having to go in and be looked at crazy, that took a little bit of my anxiety away and I thank her for that. I had a good day yesterday. Looking forward to phone visit , she’s really kind and easy to talk with I didn’t feel nervous at all, Thank you nurse Sarah❤️
Fantastic experience: Dr Abbido was very great, my 2 year old was never scared or intimidated by any part of the doctor visit. He spoke very well and conversational and never felt like he was talking at us like some doctors do. Very well with adults and children!

Negative experience: It was really bad i was told I was getting meds for kid and they didn't give me nothing.. what was the reson to go to the doctor just for the doctor to get payed ... I didn't get any medication for my son . Thank you for getting the doctor payed

Fantastic experience: I've had some excellent wellness calls from Mattie, my consulting nurse. This follow-up was not expected, but I am very appreciative to know that I'm not just another number on a list of patients who receive care from her. I am pleased with this and other features of Valley Family Medicine/Farm Workers Clinic..
Negative experience: Overall, I like the attention of this clinic, but this time when I took my daughter, the doctor and his assistant were very rude. The doctor practically didn't ask me anything about what was wrong with my baby. I won't mention his name out of respect, even though he was not respectful at all; he came in and out without saying a word.

The other day I finally told him yes and Ali came in and she says I’m just here for you to talk to to vent and when you come in to see him I’ll just come down and see you for 1520 minutes each time And so it was nothing like I thought I thought it was a psychiatrist and you know would say that you’re crazy you know different things like that she was very kind and I’m glad I did it

Negative experience: I had an appointment and the doctor Anderson left me in the waiting room over an hour and half, he lied to me several times, he made me feel like i wasnt as important patient. He wanted to drug test me several times when i passed a drug test a week prior to appointment. I think he did that to me because I’m Native American and I Guess We’re All Drug Addicts. I highly do not recommend him as any Native American doctor with Chronic Pain. He’s not qualified to say I’m not in pain when he’s not a Chronic Pain doctor, so he doesnt know what hes talking about.

Positive experience: Dr. Clara Monheit is very professional. She reviewed my past results and made recommendations. I felt heard and she attended my concerns. She done a complete evaluation. She was willing to order labs for symptoms I had concerns with. I strongly recommend her to care for your health.

Negative experience: Went to get my prescription at Safeway today and it was not sent out yesterday. My wife had to call u guys, then yvfwc pharmacist siad they will make it there. Then they said they sent to safeway. Leaving town and really needed it. Happens to often.

Aaron Moore, is there a way he can get a different Doctor that could deal with him. I thought she was kind of afraid of him. He has autism, he does have meltdowns.He will get mad and scream yell.Sometimes bump somebody but she seemed afraid of him and I didn't think that was right

Fantastic experience: Excellent attention from all the staff.
Negative experience: The physician assistant Diego Upegui is not a good doctor! He prescribed the incorrect medication for a problem that was happening. It was obvious that I needed something stronger yet gave me a medication that was not strong enough to fight off the infection. Which then caused my infection to worsen since it got empowered by the incorrect medication. Go with any other doctor available please!

Fantastic experience: I have been with Dr Aaron Anderson for quite a few years now. Hands down the best Dr I’ve ever had!! He listens to my concerns and I don’t ever walk away feeling judged like I would feel from past Dr’s.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Houser Duncan Listened to my teenage son’s concerns, addressed each and every one. Reassured there was a medical plan in placed to make sure he was getting the medical care needed. Fun personality that makes our son comfortable communicating with him.
Positive experience: Thank you YVFHC for offering this much needed class locally. The cooking class given by Roberto, Registered Dietician, was informative, practical, motivating and hands-on. Prep lessons used a variety of recipes. It has helped participants know how to make better food choices and adjustments to recipes.

Negative experience: The wait time here sucks! My child had an appointment with Emma Jarrett we waited 40 minutes in the medical room. She then comes in and no apology for the wait! She is also not that knowledgeable, we ask here questions and always says "um." Kind lady but if you're having complex issues with your child I would not recommend this pediatrician. She can also be dismissive when it comes to issues your child may be having. Go with any other pediatrician available!

Negative experience: This clinic used to be a really good clinic. Plenty of doctors that would address your concerns in a timely manner. Now however, each time I go to an appointment doctors constantly rush the visit. As there is a 15 minute time limit for each office visit. You can only say one concern during the visit and if you have another concern they blow you off and say to schedule another appointment for the 2nd concern. Even when you haven't gone over your 15 minute time limit. There have been even times where a doctor just walks in without a computer and stands there and then immediately leaves. This clinic is just way too rushed when it comes to office visits. There are also many doctors that don't even know much, so there is a lack of knowledge at this clinic as well. Also did I mention the wait time is horrible here. You can sometimes even wait up to 40 minutes in the room. While they rush your visit! Would NOT recommend to go to this clinic, and to take your business elsewhere!
