Fantastic experience: If you’re looking to lose weight seriously and sensibly this is the place to go. They cover everything. I’ve been coming here 1 year. Lost 35lbs and it could be more but I’m human and sometimes fall off the path they set for me. I’m very happy with my results and will continue with this program for the long term. It’s not about how fast but doing it in a healthy way and that’s what these guys are all about.

Negative experience: Edited to Add: After speaking with Dr. Lamond directly I stand by my 1 star review and suggest you use extreme caution if you are looking for nutritional guidance. There is 1 registered dietician across 5 locations and 0 board certified nutrition specialists (other than Dr. Lamond himself). The health coaches have zero oversight it seems and though he assured me they’re highly trained it’s obvious from past reviews that I’m not the first person with this experience. It’s clear this company is only interested in lining their pockets and using the cheapest possible staff to do it. They appear to be using every loop hole in the book to pass off their “nutrition program” off as “medical weight management” and “health care”. The labs I had done here provided helpful information And the thyroid medication prescribed to me has made me feel a lot better. So I appreciate that, but I have to give a 1 star review for the atrocious experience I had with the “health coach”. This woman, who is not a dietician Or nutritionist spent all of 15 minutes with me in which she did not ask about what I normally eat, my likes, dislikes, nothing. Then she recommended I eat 1000-1200 calories a day while doing HIIT classes 3-4x a week. If I wanted a crash diet I would have gone to Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop website. Couldn’t provide evidence based reasoning for what she was “prescribing” or how it would be sustainable. Didn’t look at me once during the appointment and was typing the whole time she spoke to me. Knew absolutely NOTHING about my history despite me throughly completing the intake forms and came prepared with the homework they gave me but oh she never asked or looked at it. I would avoid at all costs unless you want to be prescribed disordered eating and get outdated information from the 90s.

Fantastic experience: I have been very pleased with Blue Sky. They are very thorough and knowledgeable in helping me with balancing my hormones, helping me focus on better nutrition and weight loss. I feel better in one month than I have in a long time.

Positive experience: This practice has been a good fit for me. I’m 65 and too old for hormones. I’m doing their weight loss program. I get a B12 combo shot weekly and I have changed my eating habits. I have lost almost 15 lbs since the first of May. I have coaching appointments every other week or so. Lots of good info, which I know, but need reminding of.

Negative experience: I recently visited BlueSky MD and wanted to share my experience along with some recommendations. If you're considering hormone replacement therapy, it's crucial to come prepared with your own research and some background knowledge. The office follows a standardized course of treatment rather than an individualized approach. They primarily recommend hormone pellets (which are not covered by insurance) and vitamin B-12 shots. If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) plan, opt for the uninsured rate. I found out too late that the office couldn't help me with the insurance negotiated costs of visits. Over a span of six weeks, between hormone replacement and consultations with a nutritionist, I spent around $1,000. Had I gone with the uninsured rate, it would have been half that amount. For those planning to see a nutritionist, be aware that they will schedule you with whoever is available, which means you may not see the same person consistently. This can be counterproductive when you're trying to lose weight. I recommend finding a nutritionist you like and requesting to see them specifically for continuity. If you're interested in getting on a GLP-1 medication, BlueSky MD can facilitate that, and their pricing is reasonable. However, if you prefer a more individualized approach to nutrition and weight loss, you might want to consider someone other than BlueSky MD. In summary, do your own research, and be aware that their treatment plans are standardized, not tailored to individual needs.

Positive experience: Doctors and staff do not respond back in their portal when you send them a message. Even when you call them you never can get a clear answer. I’m not sure what they do with when they do their prior authorization but they don’t use all the information you provide , I would say because it get them money for you to use their shots instead. It took over two weeks for my prior authorization to be sent in and it was denied , and they refused to resend it with an appeal. I left and went to a different company who sent it in immediately and it was approved within 48 not for just one med but two. Not to mention the company send me messages and notification every time they do something like a prior authorization letting me know it is done. Blue sky wants to to see them every week for 13 weeks which is an apt charge and medication charge . The other company I went to I see once every 3 months . But not even considering how they do things they are just not very friendly and are very hard to get into touch with when you need to speak to them about something .

Negative experience: Don't anyone ever go to this place. Whatever they gave my husband caused him to become sick and had to take him to the er. What they are selling people is very toxic and dangerous. These doctors aren't even real doctors and selling synthetic drugs that can kill you. Again don't anyone go to this place. LaMond or who ever you are you do push these harmful and dangerous chemicals for humans to put into their body. No he will not contact you and we don't need your help. Again I hope that people will catch on real quick as what type of business you all are running.

Many tips, techniques, and information are shared to equip you with your lifelong health journey. I feel the best I have felt in several years and attribute that to weekly B-12 shots and using this information to live a health-happy life!

Fantastic experience: It is a pleasure to go for a review check-up to see that your medication is doing what it should. If you have questions they are answered and addressed to your satisfaction. And at the close of your visit they ask if there are any other questions even if it has no relation to your visit. Those also are answered and recommendations are presented. What a group. I recommend them to anyone male or female.

Negative experience: My bloodwork results were not available for me to see until I finally called them after my review and they posted them. I am still not able to print them out. Also, the post results review online was like FILL IN THE BLANK. Very generic and didn’t show most of what we discussed. I’m disappointed.

Positive experience: Everyone is very nice, my only issue is the appt. Availability. However, i like that they schedule 2 weeks out. I wish they were open on a saturday

Positive experience: Well, not sure exactly what to say but anything is better than nothing. I have always been hesitant on clinics or doctors offices but I enjoy BlueSky MD, at least the Winston location. The staff is friendly and non judgemental. Daniel, is intimidating at first but after talking to him he's not. So far I am a month in using the semaglutide and T shots along with nutritional coaching and I'm down 10 pounds. I am glad to have been referred here by a coworker.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place! After I quit smoking I gained a lot of weight. No matter what I just kept packing it on. I was up to 192 at my consultation appointment. Less than a week later when I went for my second appointment but what I considered the first official one I was at 194. (I was 135/40 when I quit smoking) This was in end of November first of December. In 13 weeks I've lost 30lbs. You do have to follow the program. Listen to what they say!! If your blood work comes back and they say ok you need to stay away from X & Y for 13 weeks then stay away from X&Y for 13 weeks! My results might not be the norm I'm not really sure. I followed the program, and counted my calories but I also go to the gym. We started out going every single day. Now I just go 5 times a week. I still have about 20-30lbs to lose. I'm still in a calorie deficit and assume I will be until I hit my goal weight. They do have app you use to track your calories, and protein (protein is important!) The app isn't my favorite bc it does glitch, delete entries, and occasionally take forever to load lol. I prefer the Fitness App but they need access to your tracker to help make sure you stay on track. So you do need to use their app. Although I think they might have a journal you can use if you don't do apps. I highly recommend Blue Sky! I've learned a lot since I started going. For 13 weeks I had to check in weekly with a coach which is very helpful and helps keep you on track. Now I'll check in every two weeks. I can't speak for the hormone therapy side but I do get the combo shot weekly. B12 + MIC. Does it help? I don't know lol. I take it weekly and at this rate it's just part of my process. I haven't tried skipping a week yet to see if there is a difference. I figure B12 is good anyway so it's not hurting. If you are having trouble with weight loss I'd at least go have a consultation and talk to them! They do accept insurance or self pay. My insurance didn't cover it but self pay is still affordable. Although personally speaking being healthy again is worth any price.

Positive experience: I've been going for a few months now and have generally been very pleased. However I was a bit disappointed today. The nurse that took me back for my weigh in and shots didn't have a laptop with her. She wrote down my weight but was unable to tell me any variance from my last visit and seemed irritated when I asked. My entire purpose of coming is for weight loss and this isn't cheap. Providing that information should be standard.

I have no more joint pain and the stiffness is gone, I'm sleeping alot better, the hot flakes are gone. One of the big factors, too, is the fact that they take insurance. I'm 76 years old and am having success without the use of drugs. It's not easy, but they are patient and encouraging.

Fantastic experience: I have been receiving treatment from Dan for about a year now. I was told by my doctor that I didn’t need Testosterone what I needed was to lose weight and take a bunch of meds who’s side affects where the precise thing I was complaining about. After just a few months I started to lose weight sleep much better and my energy and libido went through the roof. The best part is I’m the absolute healthiest I have been in my life. This place is a game changer.

Negative experience: Called here and you get a corporate answering service, they don't answer any general questions. So I scheduled and went in, it was so robotic like the kids in Pink Floyd the Wall. No care, no personality, no answers. You are left in the dark then charged a bunch. Just an overall cold environment. To make it worse the last time I come in for my appointment after trying to keep an open mind the female doctor comes in and says they should have scheduled me the male doctor. Then still charged me for my visit and I didn't schedule again. Ridiculous, then I keep getting a $50 bill in the mail and had to call multiple times to get it fixed. They said they corrected it but kept getting mailed since my account was active. Even if active why would I get an incorrect bill. DO NOT GO HERE. Go to Doctor Augoustides at Piedmont Integrative Medicine. Got so much more thorough answers and good treatment!

Fantastic experience: Blue Sky was recommended to me by my husband who heard of it from a friend. I’ve felt awful for a long time. Nothing has seemed to work to make me feel better. However, Blue Sky immediately discovered that I was well on my way to a Hashimoto’s diagnosis. They have a cool app for tracking your intake that the health behaviorist uses as part of the follow up. It’s like 24 x 7 support.
