Fantastic experience: Dr Janssen was wonderful as was the entire team. I really appreciate all the sincere care and time they took to answer all my questions and my specific needs, especially with my piriformis syndrome that affected my entire left side! I was traveling and needed to be seen right away, Dr Janssen gave me such expert help and relief. I'm already feeling much better.

Negative experience: In October 2022 I bought an offer to see the chiropractor. They let me by myself in a machine that pulls your neck on my first therapy. I had to press the emergency bottom because I was feeling extremely uncomfortable and was pulling my neck too much and causing discomfort and pain. I had a headache for two days. Continue having pain to this day. Never redeemed the rest of my offer for this reason.

Immediately they figured out that he had something unusual going on and requested an MRI and did an ultrasound. They found he had an infection in the bone and had he not been treated he could have had serious consequences. Thank you to these professionals for their knowledge and skills!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lorenz has superpowers! Kidding aside, Dr. Lorenz is a good listener, compassionate, and has high integrity. He is an effective Naprapath. I was having some pain, impingement, and limited range of motion in my right shoulder. With his “magic hands” he improved the issue significantly and I was able to resume my weight lifting. I now go to him at least a couple of time a month for regular “tune-ups”. Initially I went to him for about 5-6 visit to get the issue under control. My brother is now also seeing him and loves how he feels. I highly recommend Dr. Lorenz. What are you still doing reading, call and make an appointment now?!

Fantastic experience: First time getting acupuncture. Dr Brewer was great. Went over why I'm not able to sleep through the night, explained process of acupuncture. He's easy to talk to. Made recommendations for me. I'll have 3 sessions of acupuncture, hoping it works! Didn't realize how many different services they offer at this office.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at the facility is warm and welcoming. I always feel like it is a time to visit with a friend or cousin I have not seen and play catch up while getting adjusted. Dr. Bruer, Roy and Michelle are awesome.

Fantastic experience: I began training for the Chicago marathon, and started experiencing leg (IT band) pain to the point where I didn't know if I was going to even make it to the starting line. Roy and Dr. Brewer were especially helpful in diagnosing and treating this problem (and the other specific leg/knee/foot pain!) that came up throughout training. This helped me stay on top of my training runs and recover from tougher workouts. Not only was I able to get to the starting line, but also to the finish line in a much better than expected time! Appointments were easy to schedule each week and the whole office/front desk team were extremely nice. Highly recommend Health First for your PT/Chiropractic needs.

Negative experience: I was treated here for over a year, & not long ago I would've said this place was great, but sadly the owner of this practice has severely dropped the ball...They do not follow up with patients, or inform them of test status/results (5 days after receiving information it was still not relayed) and copy other doctors notes in place of actually taking the time to do their own evaluation or paperwork...then blames paperwork issues on the other doctor(s) instead of owning up to his fault(s). I would recommend to find an alternate place to receive treatment if you would like to get actual reaults.

Fantastic experience: Physical therapist, Dr. Lisa, has been beyond wonderful helping me with my pain and teaching me personalized proper technique for strength. Naprapath, Dr. Lorenz, is a hidden gem that I don’t want to share! He gets booked up quick because he gets you out of pain quick. He understands, listens, cares and handles issues very well.

Fantastic experience: This place is healing my soul and my body. After countless different therapies to help heal my neck and shoulder pain Dr. Brosio and Dr. Lorenz have given me hope in my healing and I feel so grateful to have found them. I feel like I’m finally getting my body to an aligned place and I don’t have to live with the pain anymore.

Negative experience: I went here to get help but instead one of there staff members Lisa called me gross when she heard my bones crack. It’s a chiropractor office and I was mortified and embarrassed. I decided I can’t go here anymore and I informed them what happened. They decided to charge me a cancel fee and had Lisa call me and leave a half apology voicemail (still have voicemail) saying she didn’t mean it like that but how is else it meant when you say it was gross more than once? Another patient that heard that comment and saw I was embarrassed questioned her and said wait don’t you hear cracks all the time. Lisa said to the other patient in front of me yes but that was loud it was gross. Later she said to me she is trying to get back in my good graces after that. Not a very professional place and for a place that hears bones crack all the time I’m not sure why she would say in front of other people that it was gross. Then when I said oh my boyfriend thinks it’s cute to play it off she said my man is weird. I know she was having relationships problems and crying at work about wanting to have a baby but that’s not reason to take it out on me. I’m disgusted how the facility handled it when more than one person heard it. Why would a professional say gross to a patient trying to get help.

Dr. Eric is a wonderful chiropractor and helped me reach my goal of wellness with compassion and patience. Lisa was my physical therapist and I couldn't have had a better more knowledgeable person to help me through my exercises. I met Dr. Dustin before leaving who was also very patient, knowledgeable and kind-hearted. Other amazing people at Health First include Roy another excellent physical therapist, Cassandra the receptionist and Alyssa the nurse practitioner. Negative experience: Went in for a massage on Monday (3/22) I had no issues beforehand and just wanted a relaxing massage. Tuesday, Wednesday, and today I have had numbness and tingling down my right arm that isn’t going away. Nothing has changed in my daily routine. Each time I try and call the phone doesn’t even ring. I have had many massages and never experienced anything like this. I would not recommend this place for a massage.

Fantastic experience: I started out using this facility from a groupon, and have been getting PT/Chiro work for the past 3 months. Staff is super polite and helpful. They really care about fixing your aches and pains (for me my it was back/shoulders/forearms) fixed. Staff is willing to help outside of hours through emails and exercise routines. I would recommend to anyone looking to get their body stronger or suffers from aches/stiffness. Dr. Brosio and PT staff (Roy, Nicki, and others) have gone above and beyond the normal expectation to provide great care.

Fantastic experience: I have been struggling for years with neck, shoulder, and back pain that is really taking a toll on my ability to function (even though I had been going to a chiropractor every week). After meeting with Dr. Lorenz, I finally had relief. Walking in I could barely move my neck, but I left with the ability to move again. He was able to pin point each problem area and ease the pain. Fantastic experience: I had a clinical massage with Fred and have left the center walking on clouds. He really stretched my muscles and worked on losing the tensions around my lower back. He relieved my sciatica running down to my leg. He was really careful and used different techniques. Even next day I felt relived from pains and pulls in my lower back and did not need patches or pills.

I was treated for my back problem at the clinic and everyone was so helpful including Dr.Eric, Dr. Elahi and PT Staff( Roy, Nikki, Rama and Ricky). They have an excellent team at the clinic and I am so happy with their treatment. Dana Sivak is the best Nutritionist I have ever met, and She helped me with my Diets. Fantastic experience: I had chronic joint pain and couldn't figure out the source of it. I'm an active person and needed immediate relief for the pain. After two treatments I was able to resume most of my physical activities. I'm looking forward to competing again and am grateful Dr. Elahi could pin point the cause!

Coming to the Health First Center in December of 2019 has been one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life and that is an understatement! From helping me taper off prednisone to helping me fix my body, this place delivers MVP work! Dr. Brosio is an MVP and in going to other chiropractors in the past, Dr. Brosio is hands down the best at what he does. His knowledge, techniques and overall approach to his patients is a breath of fresh air. Every time I come in, I know I will be under the best supervision that is out there and for anyone looking for a chiropractor, look no further. From the time I first walked in needing help, to now, I know I'm in good hands. Again, I can't thank him enough for what he has done for me. Along with Dr. Brosio, Roy is an MVP as well. His positive attitude and desire to help his patients is what sets him apart from many. I always know I'm going to get great care when I work with him. He is a fantastic physical therapist and the Health First Wellness Center is very lucky to have him as are all his patients! Like Roy, Nicolleta is great as well. Lastly, there is nurse Alyssa. She is amazing as well! I have done PRF work and trigger points with her and her attention to detail is spot on. Anyone looking for a nurse who has their best interest at heart, she is your lady! Then there is Dr. Lorenz, who I've written a review for as well. Simply put, this guy is amazing. Everybody and anybody could benefit from his work. He has been a godsend! His knowledge and techniques are like no other....Feel free to read the review I gave for him. Lastly, I can't forget the front desk. They are very professional and they put their patients first which in this day in age, isn't a normal thing! I'm always greeted with a smile and I can expect that their attention to detail with appointments and care will always be top notch! Their payment plans are stress free and their patience with their patients is greatly appreciated. All in all, I know I wrote a lot here, but I can't thank this center enough for all the ammunition they've given me to rebuild my foundation. Without ALL of them, I wouldn't be where I am today and for that, I am very thankful. If you are looking for a mainstay in all things that go hand in hand with health, this is your place! Fantastic experience: I finally found my home for physical therapy treatment. Left their clinic feeling like a brand new human! Mr. Roy explained every step of his treatment in depth to give me a full understanding of my condition and what he was doing to carefully treat it. Also explained how I can relieve my upper back and neck stiffness at home, on my own. Have never found a staff who takes more pride in their work than the staff at Health First. They ACTUALLY care about the customer!

There’s this one physical therapist there, I believe his name is Roy and he is one of the best physical therapists I ever had. He was super helpful and respectful. I came multiple times for treatment and everytime all the employees demonstrated extensive knowledge in their field of practice. Dr. Elahi and Dr. Brosio have both effortlessless adjusted my back after treatments leaving me pain free. Will always continue to return to health first for all my physical therapy treatments. I have always left health first more than satisfied with the quality of care that was provided.

The therapists are professional and extremely well-informed about the latest protocols and best practices. They consult with each other continually; and they are great about educating patients on getting back to being physically healthy. It seemed like my therapist, Roy, really "got it" because he offered lots of expert opinion to maximize recovery, and to do everything possible to maintain safe physical activity. Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a high quality Massage, Physical Therapy or Chiropractic care you have found the right place! I have been visiting Health First for over two years now and they have changed my life! I started out with getting a Massage with Crystal every week. Crystal has been doing this for over 10 years now and she truly knows how to evaluate your pain and work on the right muscle groups to relax the hot spots. She is certainly the masseuse you want to make your body feel rejuvenated! Then I began Physical Therapy and Chiropractic care for several pinched nerves that I have in my cervical and lumbar areas of my spine. Nikki & Roy are in charge of the PT services and they are fantastic! They both work with you one on one to determine the various muscle groups that need to be worked on to relieve the pressure off of the nerves. Last but not least is Dr. Eric! This is the man with the magic hands who will adjust your spine on a regular basis to make sure everything is aligned properly. I can honestly say that I have not felt this good in over 25 years. I feel that they have brought me back from over the edge and I intend to stay there with their help. Please give them a chance and you will not be sorry!

Fantastic experience: To begin there’s no better way to describe this place other than a wellness center, it is your one stop shop for all of your health needs. Originally I landed at Health First by referral, and I must say I was very skeptical. I had two herniated disk in my lower back, and felt as if my physical health was in the tubes for good. 26 years old and every day things were a struggle, until Health First. A few weeks later and I was making progress I hadn’t seen in months on my own. Any time I had a question or concern the staff listened and helped ease my mind and continued to help me progress physically. What I didn’t foresee was the impact they made (unintentionally) on my mental health. Coming into a place 2-3 times a week that was filled with so much positivity and was so authentically genuine helped my progression just as much mentally as it did physically. It saddens me, that my time at this wellness center has come to an end, but I know I’ll be in good hands if I ever need to return.

Not like my 20’s but pretty darn close!! Pain levels went from a daily 9-10 to now 3-4, some days are a 7, but after a visit with them, I’m back down!! Thank you Dr. Eric, Roy, Nicky, Reva, Alecia and Anna for helping me feel better and educating me!! Through them, I’m also on a 14 day detox so I’m on day 3 (my honey E-Rock is doing this with me! He’s been a wonderful supporter through all this) and so far I’m feeling great!! Today I didn’t feel sluggish like I used to, so something is working!!!

Besides the professional care everyone is super friendly and sincerely care about your well being. I am so glad have this center in my neighborhood.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first day ever going to this massage Center with my boyfriend and our experience was great!!! The whole staff was so nice and welcoming. I had Ms Jamie, she was very nice and the massage was a 10/10. I can’t wait to go back next time !! :)

I am so glad Dana introduced me to this because it has given me so much relief to my daily activities!

Fantastic experience: I woke up one day with back pain and i couldn't walk, i felt like i'm about to die, i googled the best Chiropractor and this clinic showed up, pain was gone about 50% from the first visit, after a week i felt like a horse lol! Fantastic experience: Love coming here. Morgan has done an excellent job as the care coordinator and always gets the job done right. Before I learned about health first, I did physical therapy with a different business and they were sloppy, rude, and did a poor job managing scheduling / patient information. Health First always takes great care of me and makes sure I get the treatment I need. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I met with Dana, the dietitian and let me tell you that she is AMAZING. Incredibly knowledgeable and super patient with all of my questions! She taught me so many things about nutrition and has been helping me with new recipes and portion sizing. There was so much I realized I didn't know. IF YOU'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT MEETING WITH HER JUST DO IT. She's great!

Fantastic experience: Dana was great! I'm a high level athlete whose body is my job, and we worked together to devise something that would work for me and keep me performing at the tippity-top but also allowed me to sneak the occasional pizza.

Honestly everyone st this site is great. They make therapy fun while still helping you get better. Dr Lorenz is great, even though it feels like torture I always feel better after a session
