At Total Health Systems of Clinton Township, Chesterfield, Washington, St. Clair Shores, and Center Line we are “a multi-disciplinary practice that provides both traditional medical and holistic therapies with a two-pronged ‘corrective’ and ‘wellness’ approach.” By focusing on correcting joint dysfunction and nervous system coordination with our chiropractic approach, and correcting muscle imbalance with our physical therapy services, we are able to transition our patients from a passive to active care model. By breaking down muscle using soft tissue techniques including massage, stretching, and joint mobilization, followed by a corrective exercise program, we are able to achieve our mission of long term health and wellness.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing them for over 6 years now and honestly I can't see myself changing to anyone else. I'm someone with relatively severe Scoliosis (a good visual aid would be that my spine shares a similar shape to that of the letter S). I'm just under the necessary degrees in my spine to require Spinal Fusion Surgery. Soon after my diagnosis I saw them for Chiropractic aid and occasional Physical Therapy too. All of their staff are just simply incredible but there are two individuals whom I genuinely cannot recommend enough. They've cared for me, went above and beyond with what I've needed, and are just an overall joy to talk with. These two being Dr. Jesse Snider (my Chiropractor) and Rafal Borowy (my Physical Therapist). They genuinely are there to help and treat you like a person. I don't think I could ask for anyone better than them. If you're ever in need of their services, you'll find yourself in the best of hands to take care of you.

Fantastic experience: I have only been going her for 1 month and I am almost pain free, getting more range of motion every visit, and their physical therapy has been very helpful addressing my weak core from multiple abdominal surgeries. I even have noticed improved circulation to my arms and legs. I highly reccomend this place! Awesome staff, and very knowledgeable chiropractors and physical therapist. Nikolette is my go to physical therapist, and Andrew is the best chiropractic physician I have had in a long time. He has given me more range of motion and I'm in a lot less pain.

Fantastic experience: I started seeing Dr. Gallagher around 29 weeks pregnant, she has done wonders for my lower back pain and flipping baby from oblique transverse position to head down. 100% recommend seeing her if you are pregnant!

Positive experience: The treatment was great, but they switched providers on me (without my knowledge) and so it was no longer covered under my insurance, so I had to pay out of pocket - I scheduled with that provider specifically because they were in network.

Positive experience: This is my first visit, the staff was very friendly. The Doctor spent quality time with me, reviewing my x-rays and answered all my questions. I feel I got the right kind of adjustment, and did feel better. My only disappointment was that my insurance covers massage therapy, but this office does not offer this kind of therapy billed to my insurance.

Negative experience: I saw Andrew twice before Easter. He had my MRI and knew that at some point I would need back surgery. When I went to see him it mainly was for my shoulder ( my back felt the best it had in 10 years )but also to keep up with my adjustments for my back. I told him a had weird pain in my glutes and hamstring all of a sudden. I’ve seen chiropractors and I never knew one could hurt me this bad. Going on 61 days and it takes me 1 to 2 hours to be able to stand up straight in the morning every single day. The Monday after Easter, I saw one of the other guys there. He made room for me to come in spend time with me help me out was genuinely concerned and worried. He was great but by that time I didn’t want anybody else to touch me. Got my first epidural shot today hopefully I can start recovering. Longer road ahead

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for years for massages and all staff are amazing and care about your well-being. Jessica is wonderful as well as Laura, Justin, Sam, and Holly. Every one of their LMT are fantastic!! I started chiropractic and PT services 5 years ago and it has made a TREMENDOUS difference in helping with my scoliosis. I had extremely bad neck strains and joints that were not leveled that are now aligned so much better! Dr. Snyder, and Dr. Dubay are two that I completely trust with helping feel better and move great! Be sure to book your appointments ahead, as massages book up quickly! Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for months and months now- this review is overdue. The staff here is helpful and pleasant- every time. If I have a question of billing- answered. Need a quick or future appointment- done. I can usually get in same day for most appointments. My chiropractors have always been good- Dr. Pam and Dr Jesse. They listen, assess, and treat. Dr Pam sees my children (9 & 4). I have done stretch therapy, massage therapy and also seen a PA…. All good. My new favorite person, Dr. Pan- acupuncturist helps me with my chronic muscle and nerve pain, incorporating Chinese medicine in line with my current medical regime (I see a couple different specialists for autoimmune conditions). Total Health Systems is the local gem for a person like me who needs various forms of treatment/relief- a one stop shop AND they accept my insurance !!

Negative experience: The location on 43740 Garfeild In clinton township is very horrible and racist they were very mean and rushed me to hurry and sign paperwork cuz they don’t trust my auto insurance the physician assistant was kind Elizabeth she apologized. But vain or vein was a Asian lady who was very mean and took my questions and concerns and treated me like I was aggressive and was so mean it brought me to tears she rushed and complained that she had other patients. Brought another lady in to demand I sign them because of their previous experience with other patients was horrible don’t go to this location if your African American they treated me like I had intentions to steal

Negative experience: If they screw up your appointment, they won’t do anything to make it right. I called regarding an appointment that they messed up, which was a surprise gift, and they tried saying it was my fault. They also did nothing for my situation. Buyer beware!

Fantastic experience: My experience is always wonderful, I always feel better when I leave and the staff is always so friendly and helpful, i have already referred 2 other people who are going now. Is there a gift for referring people who have already started going now to, that like some other clinics do. I just wish I could get the acupuncture with my insurance it shouldn't matter what kind you have if it's needed this is upsetting for me.

Fantastic experience: After unsuccessful attempts by other PT clinics to rid me of my sciatica pain it was recommended to me by a friend that I try Total Health Systems. The entire staff from my PA to my PT did an amazing job at helping to rid me of my sciatica pain and get me moving again. The office staff is super friendly as well. All in all a great experience. Fantastic experience: I drive out of my way for chiropractic care here and have for the last two years. Stephanie at the front desk is truly a gem. She's thorough and makes sure that you are clear about your financial obligations and what to expect on your visit. She's also kind and funny. I see Dr. Hilla and Dr. Pam. Both have their own styles and both get excellent results. Dr. Hilla is calm, patient and makes certain that he hears your concerns and has a great balance of explaining what is going on with your body while also reassuring you of what can be done to move you towards your healing. From helping you to keep the right mindset, the chiropractic work and exercises you can do at home. When I came here, I was bed bound after an auto accident and in a low place. Even if it's just a sentence or two, he brings me to the proper mindset when he works with me. I'm now walking, working out and thriving again. Even when I have my "setbacks" and pull a muscle, experience spasms or feel pain, Dr. Hilla skillfully acknowledges what I am experiencing, cares for me, gives me a plan to feel better and build strength and keeps me looking positively forward. Even when I joke about my age...he quickly and kindly reminds me that it is not a limitation. He simply won't let me give up on feeling great! Dr. Pam is loving, kind and compassionate. She truly knows her stuff. She is very personable and also greatly helped me through my auto accident trauma. She keeps her patients in the loop while she is working and educates those willing to listen. Both Doctors have also worked on my teenagers. Both are consummate professionals and as you can tell by this long review (and I could say more), I love having these doctors available as members of my healthy living team.

Fantastic experience: Everything was so nice right from the time I walked in the door. The receptionists were friendly, the person taking my vitals was quick and so so nice, the Pysician assistant was nice. And finally my adorable little Physical therapist Dr. Jessica was so informative and reassuring and she knew how to treat me right away. I loved spending time with her.. She was super chill. The facilities were so clean and tidy, the lighting was just right. I felt at home. So far the best Physical therapy office I've ever seen or been treated by.
