Dr. Madjidi has amazing bed side manner. Negative experience: I had a very bad experience doing business with SonoBello. After my consultation & paying over $9K, my daughter sent me reviews and BBB complaints about SonoBello, one showing someone died from their services. When I cancelled, they would not give me a refund. TOTAL SCAM & RIPOFF!!!

Fantastic experience: I’m currently on a journey of recovery after my divorce, and I decided to explore Sono Bello because the recovery process seemed far less stressful. This location has been absolutely amazing—professional, communicative, humorous, and incredibly accommodating! The entire experience has been comfortable and transparent, and I’m truly grateful to have such a great team of professionals helping me achieve the results I’ve been looking for. I’m still in the process, but I couldn’t be more excited or happier with my decision! Fantastic experience: I went to my Sonobello post- op appointment yesterday, and everything was great. I'm very satisfied with the whole procedure. I noticed that staying active makes a big difference in comfort—just sitting around will slow your recovery. The more I moved, the better I felt. Now, four weeks post-op, I'm excited to go swimming and wear my swimsuit. The staff was phenomenal. All the nurses Latisha, shyesha, Karina, Brittany, Veronica & Macila and of course Dr. Slapenhorst were always open to questions and provided clear answers. The doctor has over 20 years of experience, and I would totally recommend him. He's awesome and a pleasure to visit with. Kenny, a handsome young man on the staff, was also great and very professional and ofcourse Jocelynne a very professional lady. The healing process wasn't very painful, just manageable. I attended a wedding three days after my procedure and felt fine, only needing pain meds twice during the whole recovery. Overall, I'd rate my experience a nine out of ten.

The consultant, nurses, and front desk teams were amazing, addressing all my questions and concerns with patience and clarity. They took their time to explain the next steps, ensuring I felt fully informed and comfortable. Dr. Madjidi was outstanding as well. During our first appointment, she thoroughly explained the procedure, and during the surgery, she continued to guide me through each step. The nurses were also incredibly supportive, making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. I am only two weeks out from my laser lipo and AbEx Tummy Tuck procedures, and the results already look better than I had anticipated. I felt great going back to work just one week later, which was a pleasant surprise compared to the longer recovery time I would have faced with a traditional procedure. Choosing Sono Bello for this procedure was the best decision I could have made!

Fantastic experience: Hi I am Denise and I am amazed with my results up to this point. The staff was amazing from the start Majik explained the areas that the procedure would take place on . Then it was the nurse I think her name started with a J. She worked with Dr Egu who explained to me what was about to take place After the procedure I was fitted with a compressor garment by the same nurse who was there with me the whole time she was great. Dr Egu has wonderful and respectfully manners he was available when I could not reach the front desk once I got home . So I text him and he responded quickly and I need his help more than once so thank you Dr Egu. The the videos stated this is a big help because it in tell the transformation of your body. Nurse Veronica help me with the time came for my next garment, she also in formed me on nutrition. Then there was Jakia once she did the Venus treatment I really felt great, she also informed me on what and what not to eat . If I got off the grid one day make sure I eat healthy the next day. And last but not least the front desk Kenny & Joycelyn were at the front desk with pleasant smile to check me in . Thank to all the staff.

Fantastic experience: Houston’s Sono Bello is the best choice when it comes to being the best version of yourself. I’m three weeks post procedure and I am totally amazed at the dramatic difference in my body. I’m still not done healing but if I stopped right here I’d still be satisfied. Jocelynne has kept me updated and ready for each next step. Dr. Ayim is wonderful, a highly skilled professional and a pleasure to work with. Her body contouring skill is no less than fine art. Positive experience: Kenny and Jocelynne were amazing and helped when I had scheduling conflicts. Majik did a good job talking to my daughter and I about our concerns. Dr. Ayim is phenomenal, she answered my questions, called me after my procedure and followed up on concerns and issues I had. Jakia, Latisha, Shyesha , Karina and Brittany were super helpful. Negative experience: The staff was great but the results were terrible. I spent a lot of money for nothing but a big, ugly scar. I’m 8 months out now so plenty of time for results to show. It was truly a waste of money. I was specific about what I wanted to achieve during my surgical consultation and they wait until my 6 month post op to tell me they couldn’t achieve what I wanted with lipo. No offer of refund. Never saw the surgeon again after the procedure. Do yourself a favor and consult with a surgeon that is not tied to one type of procedure before you make up your mind. You’ll get a much more honest assessment and options to help you achieve your goals. Update - Sono Bello has addressed my concerns satisfactorily.

Negative experience: You get what you pay for. Sonobello was inexpensive compared to other places, but my experience was worse. First, they make you pay (non refundable) before you have the pre-op appt with the doctor. Then, they told me not to buy a faja bc my package includes 2. What they fail to say, is that you only get your second one 2 weeks after your surgery. So good luck trying to stay clean. At the pre-op appt, they forgot to give me the arnica pills that they told me to take prior to surgery. Finally, they have no time to schedule my post op appt... And will not schedule my Venus treatments ahead of time (because my schedule doesn't matter to them. Only their schedule is to be considered).

Fantastic experience: I would say... I've had a great experience with the consultant Majik and the nurses. Majik was very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease with going through the procedure. Before, during, and after my procedure, all the nurses were wonderful! Very professional and personable... answered all my questions and provided tips for aftercare.

Negative experience: First and foremost, I would strongly advise one interested in this to DO YOUR RESEARCH! This includes reading the reviews for the company. Then based upon the reviews and your research, formulate a list of questions if and when you decide to schedule a consultation. Bring those questions and and ask specific details about your recovery and a 'true depiction' of what to expect during and after the procedure. I am a healthcare provider of 20+ years and thought I asked the 'right questions' but unfortunately I did not. I am 4.5 weeks in recovery and have experienced things that WERE NOT elaborated upon. MINIMALLY INVASIVE IT IS NOT!! I would never recommend having this procedure without some type of monitored anesthesia care or deep sedation. It is tortuous.... barbaric even- being awake and only received a by mouth (PO) antibiotic and pain pill. You're told that there will be leaking. The truth is, I was bleeding and it was flowing like a river, changing dressings every 2 hours. I sent a message on the 2nd weekend of my recovery asking for neuropathic (nerve pain) medicine as they don't explain the intense 'stabbing pains' that come randomly and take your breath away. Ask your MD during the preop for Gabapentin or Neurotin in advance of your procedure. Nevertheless, I did not hear anything by Wednesday, so I called to follow up. I was told that my message had been overlooked and that the message would be sent to my performing surgeon. Let's just say, I am in week 4.5 of my recovery and I am yet to hear back from the nurse or the surgeon! Unprofessional!!! and UNCARING!!!! They see you one week post op and then send you on your way for 3 months with a lack of responsiveness when you have concerns. Also, research therapist that perform lymphatic massages IN ADVANCE of your procedure. Ask them questions. Sonobello fails to provide informed, transparent expectations of your procedure. This is the reason I caution anyone going this route and strongly advise to DO YOUR RESEARCH. As a healthcare provider, I have debated for 2 weeks whether to leave this review, but since it's is weighing on my mind, I feel this will be beneficial for someone else considering liposuction. If you do it, do it with a provider that provides deep sedation and is responsive to your needs/ concerns/ and that has more frequently scheduled post op appointments to ensure all is healing in the manner that it should. Fantastic experience: Sono bello does revisions for free if you are unhappy with the results. I had no trouble or push back in getting my revision. I had a lipo revision done by Dr. Egu and I am just loving the results. He listened to my concerns and addressed all of them. He was patient & thorough. He has a great bedside manner and I felt very comfortable with him. He is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend to anyone seeking their “perfect” body with weight loss surgery.

The constant Leilani made it an easy process for me to get started. Everyone there was great. Compression garments are included. They took really good care of me here.

Positive experience: My beginning experience was very professional from my first point of contact and through the procedure which I was anxious about and everyone made me feel at ease. The follow -up after my procedure was non-existent, I didn't hear from Sono Bello at all, no one called me to check on me, I had to call the day after because I had a post-procedure questions. I was disappointed by that or maybe I missed that communication that you don't receive a post-procedure call as a matter of practice!? I guess if I have any questions or concerns, I should save them for my post-procedure appointment with the Surgeon. Lastly, I am happy with the recent changes I have seen to my body thus far and am glad I did it.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately, I was accepted for a touch up because the first male doctor did not care about my experience I did not receive any information besides the email did not even get a compression garment. Late November I met Dr Daisy and she was the ABSOLUTE BEST! it made my results that are not fully healed worth the wait. From the way she listened to the areas that needed attention and just the entire experience was absolutely a 10/10. I could tell by the way to removed the fat that I look amazing and she enjoyed sculpting my body. I want to thank her soooooo much she really made me feel beautiful. And her team was phenomenal as well

Fantastic experience: Dr Egu and Nurse Jada are the best! Both of them, genuinely care about the patients needs. Perfect bedside manner. In today's society, I have experienced when the doctor or surgeon comes in, it's all about business, no making the patient feel at ease unless coming from some type of social class point of view. I prayed for the best and received nothing short of it. They went over each procedure as I laid there. Literally they were like two mother eagles, looking over the nest. Not only did I see their work ethics, I saw their heart. I am sure after the swelling, I will be more than satisfied. My recommendation is to go check them out. You will not regret it.

Negative experience: While it all seems really nice , there was confidentiality leaked, a credit check ran and I didn't need one and Care Credit opened in my name. Still did not need. Lied it was 1226dollars. More like 15,000 dollars. Never got to my needs if I had chosen this service. Do not date your paper work on a free consultation.

Fantastic experience: To start with… the front desk personnel, Kenny, Amelia & Jocelyne, are “on top of it”. Check in is fast and easy. They know the questions to ask and have the answers to my questions. All three are very friendly but also professional. Dr. Madjidi was pleasant and was sure I understood what the procedure was. Jada assisted her with my procedure. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire time of my procedure. The RNs were exceptional. On every visit I was treated like a “#1 patient”. There were no long waits in the exam room for the RN or the doctor. Today was my first Venus treatment. Oh. My. God! It felt so good. Jakia went over everything with me… what the treatment would feel like, what it’s designed to do to help with the healing, etc. Jakia is professional and friendly. I felt completely at ease. Any questions I had about my procedure 1, 2, 3+ weeks after my procedure were answered with a call back as quickly as an RN was free. There was no “We will ‘try’ to get back to you ASAP”. The RN called me within an hour to answer my question and wanted to be sure I was comfortable with her answer/explanation. I would definitely recommend this SonoBelo office to anyone desiring the procedure.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience so far. I met Julie for the initial consultation and information, and really appreciated her input and direction. Dr Stapenhorst provided additional information and opinion about options that would be best for me, and then performed the procedures last week. Short term comfort and healing has been exceptional so far and im looking forward to the next few weeks. Great job to the whole team that supported me along the journey thus far.

Negative experience: I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the panniculectomy procedure my nanny underwent at this location by Dr. Stapenhorst. Unfortunately, her experience with this physician has been extremely unsatisfactory, and I feel compelled to share her story to prevent others from going through a similar ordeal. First and foremost, the results of the were far from what she expected and discussed during the initial consultations. The outcome of the procedure was not only aesthetically displeasing but also caused significant physical discomfort and emotional distress. It is evident that the physician did not possess the necessary skills or attention to detail required for such a delicate surgery. By the way she is almost 70 years old an he performed this procedure as if she was a healthy 20 year old. Complete red flag. No prior labs NOTHING! The physician's dismissive attitude and failure to address her post-operative complications only exacerbated her frustration an left her in the emergency room with an extra large infected wound. She will be scarred for life an he doesn’t care. Furthermore, the lack of follow-up and support from the physician and their staff was disheartening. Despite numerous attempts to seek assistance and clarification regarding her concerns, she was met with unresponsiveness and a complete disregard for her well-being. This level of negligence and unprofessionalism is simply unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone considering a tummy tuck or panniculectomy procedure to thoroughly research and carefully select a qualified and compassionate physician who prioritizes patient care and safety. It is my hope that by sharing her unfortunate experience, others will be spared from going to this non sterile incompetent facility.

Negative experience: I am still waiting for my results, four months so far and my double chin is still visible. I am a little disappointed so far. In the picture you can see that there is no result for me. I hope they honor the “retouching” they promised in the contract. Thank you.

Positive experience: Dr. Majidi was my doctor. I was not happy with my final results, I sought a follow up with her to make corrections because I wasn’t happy with final results. Just like our initial meeting she was an hour late and only met with me for 9-14 minutes. I’m 7months post op. I asked for her to fix the uneven upper abs, she quickly turned into a car salesman, talking fast going back on her word, and rushing through visit talking fast to get me to accept the results. . She told me “she was done” and the rest was up to me and exercise. When I pointed out the issue areas she blamed excess skin, that could literally be used for anything just as excuse for not giving good results. During my surgery she was getting tired and just stopped, they wrap you do you dont get to see results right away then you swell up with 24hours. The amount of money I paid just for these half results is upsetting. I’ve seen better results from other places. I’m convinced she didn’t want to fix the issues because she already got paid. why would she spend time to correct something she got paid 7 months ago to do when she can use that time on a new person who just paid?!

Negative experience: I had a consultation with Trina Hawkins today. Least to say, her energy was negative. An app on my phone went off as I sat down, she looked annoyed. I mentioned that's my water intake app. Her "non response" was another indicator, she was annoyed. At that time, I was a little annoyed too by her lack of common sense/courtesy. Throughout her presentation, she seemed a little impatient and rushed. When we discussed the final cost, I tried to get clarity on cost and scheduling, again I felt I was annoying her. As a Christian myself, (I figured she was as well based on the Christian music she was singing and listening to as she input info into my account), I would expect much better customer service. At the end of the quick appointment, I said, "thank you". Again, no response, not "your welcome" or "have a nice day". I left with her negative energy wondering "Why?" and is this just how she is if she thinks she's not getting a "sale" today.

Fantastic experience: The doctors and staff at the Houston/Bellaire staff are truly caring professionals as well as friendly and very time efficient. It’s a 1.5 hr drive to Houston for me, but the services they provided were worth the drive and traffic.

Positive experience: I am not happy with my lipo results. After 6 weeks now, I have real bad fibrosis, so far I have spent over $2000 in lymphatic and post op massages. I believe this could had been avoided if Dr. Madjidi had drained my seroma when I went to see her 2 weeks after my surgery. I was having fluid and pain, her comments were: seromas are absorbed by the body and was not happy with the idea that I had gone to your clinic the week before and had the seroma drained by one of your other Physicians. Also, when I left the clinic after surgery, I was given after care instructions but Dr. Madjidi never mentioned about lymphatic massages, which I learned a week later when your other physician drained the seroma and said I needed them asap. At this point, I don’t think Dr. Madjadi is up today with after care treatments. I know now that post op care are as important as the surgery for optimal results.

Fantastic experience: So I love Sono Bello..I’ve experienced Atlanta and Houston and I loved the staff in Atlanta but Houston’s Doctor, Dr. Stapenhorst is honestly the best, most knowledgeable and thorough surgeon I’ve experienced. He doesn’t say much so you may think he’s a mean one at first but his work will make up for it! The nurses Moneisha, Kat and Mercedes are always pleasant and Kenny in the front is always helpful. I’d definitely recommend. Remember though, Sono isn’t like a lot of other places. They contour, they don’t work miracles ‍♀️ I’m very satisfied with my results so far and I’m only 3 1/2 weeks in

Fantastic experience: I started this journey and so far so good. I am loving my results. I had a concern on the weekend and called and I was connected to Dr. Madjidi within the 15 minutes. Now that's customer service. I have been treated with respect and kindness since my first visit with Julie. My nurses Jada and Marcela were very patient and kind as well Kenny and Jocelynne at the front desk. I am on my journey to get me back and I am loving it. Everyone at Sonobello has been a pleasant to talk to and their concern for your wellbeing is genuine.

This promotes a healthy lifestyle change after the surgery. This will maximize your results. She takes the time to listen and answer all your questions. She personally called to see how I was feeling. Nurses- Marcela, Moneisha, Busola, Jeanette, Latisha, Jada- Very patient and kind. Registered Nurses- Angelina- Words cannot express my gratitude to her. Everytime I texted about my incision she responded with such grace and patience. Front Desk- Jocelynne & Kenny- Always polite! Negative experience: Zero stars. Unethical. Beware. I was so excited to schedule my consultation but was very disappointed in the outcome. I visited the Sonobello (Bellaire, Tx location) last month. I thought I would consult with a doctor, but i was consulted by a sales lady Jessica Dupry. She spoke to me like she had medical experience and even asked me to undress so she could view the areas. She lied and told me my BMI was one specific number and it was incorrect. I asked if I would be seeing a doctor prior to the surgery being scheduled and she said no. After leaving the office and speaking with my husband i decided to meet with my PCP to ensure this was safe and that i would be ok doing it with only local anesthesia. I met with my primary care physician and she advised me not to have the procedure because i would be a high risk candidate with my bmi being so high (which was a total different number than what Jessica gave me). I called to cancel the service and was told i needed to come in to cancel, which would mean me leaving work to simply cancel an appointment. Jessica attitude completely changed, she was rude and showed no compassion. I was also told i would not be refunded all of my money. I find this unethical and dishonest to say the least. I found out after the fact that Jessica is a salesperson. She is not a doctor and not licensed to give consultations or ok a person for treatment. I will report them to the BBB and I've already filed a police report as well. I will also report this to the medical board if this issue is not resolved. My advice is to not go unless you meet with the actual doctor. Do not pay them until you are 100% sure. They made an unauthorized copy of my credit card and i didn't know until they charged my card a second time without my consent. I would also advise you spend a little more money and go to a board certified surgeon who provides service in the hospital and not in a clinic setting.

Positive experience: It was a good experience. I did feel the long distance that was between myself, the staff and the Sono Bello office. I live 2 hrs and 45 min away. I did not like the travel. Dr, Ayims was nice and polite. I did feel much pain during the procedure. She was very knowledgeable about my procedure and recovery. I did not see her much after my procedure. The nurses that work with me before and after my procedure were great. Mercedes and Angelina. I love my results but I do have some fibrosis I am still dealing with now. No one has advised me on that matter. Overall, if Sono Bello was here in Bryan College Station I would definitely do it again and refer a family member or friend. Thank you all.

They have all made me feel welcome & answered any questions I've had and been very helpful. Fantastic experience: My experience with Sono Bello began about 3 weeks ago when I walked in and spoke with Jocelyn. She was very sweet, helpful, and offered her assistance as I filled out my paperwork. When completed, I spoke with a consultant, Russia. Russia was not pushy, made me feel comfortable and was able to answer all my concerns and questions. She was very knowledgeable and even helped me answer all of my additional questions that I thought of on her off days because I was so nervous going into the appointment. Russia provided additional assistance with getting financing and did everything she could to scope out all options. After financing was approved, my appointment to have upper and lower abs, with AB/EX, waist, and hips was scheduled to meet with a surgeon, Dr. Stapenhorst. The doctor was straight to the point, honest. Very serious demeanor. My surgery was no walk in the park, but after 1 week I am excited to see the progress which I believe Dr. Stapenhorst is Amazing to say the least. As I heal, I cannot wait to see the full outcome of my procedures. Thank you to everyone at Sono Bello for being you, and providing me with even more confidence as a mom of 5!

Fantastic experience: So good here! This place is classy, safe, thorough, and happy. I feel so good about going there, and I have been well cared for. I am almost 66 and has a laser Lipo on my upper and lower abs, waist and back. I’m only 11 days out so I have a way to go but I’m very happy. Already able to wear clothing I haven’t been able to wear in a couple of years.
