Fantastic experience: After seeing Dr Paul Adams for chiropractic and Dr Marlesa Moore for physical therapy after an injury, I am now back to where I was before the injury, AND I have a program to continue at home to keep progressing post-therapy. Dr Paul has been great. Very friendly and straightforward about what he intends to do each visit. His adjustments have been acute and effective, even going outside of the typical chiropractic "box" to help meet my needs on certain days. His activation point work was spot on. He needed almost no cues to know what spot to work on. Dr Marlesa has worked miracles for my recovery. She listens to your needs every session, and on several occasions she changed our workout plan the moment I showed up just to meet my needs at the time. Her positive encouragement makes it much easier to push oneself to the point of healing. I went from barely being able to walk when I first showed up to being able to run and leap on my way out. Thank you Dr Paul and Dr Marlesa for getting me back to my life!

Fantastic experience: Matz Family Chiropractic has exceeded my expectations. The adjustments Dr. Scott Matz, Jr has made during the seven appointments in the last month have eliminated discomfort in my neck and hips. Their office is efficiently meaning the time on-site from arrival until walking out the building door has never been more than 20 minutes (excluding the first and second appointments when my condition was analyzed). Based upon my experience, I am recommending Dr. Scott Matz, Jr to my family and friends. The staff are all very helpful, friendly and professional.

I give him all the credit for my being able to walk today as I was in critical condition when I first visited him. I’ve not seen him in a long time but was long overdue for an adjustment. I’m very pleased with the results as he was able to manipulate my neck with excellent results. Immediately I felt relief and hours later I’m still improving.

Fantastic experience: I've used Chiropractic services since I was 18, and I've always had very positive experiences. But I'm a large guy (well not that large 6'2 and 215 pounds) but pretty big. Most of the people I have seen tend to be aggressive in the adjustments, I don't really mind that but its easy to tense up and not get the desired affect. Doctor Paul started out really light, I hardly noticed the adjustments, but they really worked. I have a lot more range of motion and as I keep coming he works his way down to other problems. After 2 months, I am very happy, more active and no more headaches! I shouldn't be suprised, Matz has a stellar reputation in the community.

Libby has been phenomenal and so have the rest of the staff, very easy to work with, and the plan for care is carefully built around the individual. Fantastic experience: Scott Junior gave my wife her life back through his compassionate and caring chiropractic care. After multiple rounds of shots in her neck after unsuccessful attempts with other chiropractors, I recommended my wife to go see Scott Matz Junior and after only two visits, my wife was feeling absolutely amazing Now he’s got my wife completely and 100% back to normal. All she does is maintenance visits when she feels her neck getting tight or something just not right. She makes a quick visit to junior. He does his thing and she’s back to being 100% again. One of the things that impresses me with Scott Matt Junior is his compassion and understanding of chiropractic care and his main goal is keeping his community healthy and educated on proper chiropractic care. I would recommend Matt chiropractic to anybody that I ever talk to or anybody that needs chiropractic care.

Positive experience: First off I believe written reviews should be honest and fair. But I must say as far as the chiropractor service, It is good and professional. They do a good job adjusting your spine and getting you out of pain. However there scheduling is not that good. I showed up for my appointment early and waited for my appointment time. They had me scheduled first thing in the morning 7:20am. I sat there waiting for for the chiropractor and he wasn't even there at my appointment time. So I waited till 7:30 and he still wasn't there so I left... I have had this happen almost every time, you can wait 10-20 min for a 5-8 min adjustment. I understand that people get busy and there could be a little bit of a wait. But why schedule me for a appointment if the chiropractor is not going to be there at that time? We all have things to do especially if we have jobs and you need to be there on time for work.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Matz for 3 years now. Scott Jr. is great! I was really close to having neck surgery and he asked me to see the physical therapist at his office before I had surgery. I started seeing Logan Rossmiller. Shortly after seeing him he said the issue was not my neck, but actually my shoulder. MRI showed a torn labrum and my ligaments and tendons were completely stretched out in my shoulder. I have since had shoulder surgery and am currently seeing him for post op therapy. I highly recommend Matz.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at my Matz Family Chiropractic visit. It has been years since I had been to a chiropractor. This was so much more less invasive. I never was a big fan of cracking my bones. I went in with quite a bit of pain in my jaw and neck. I have been also diagnosed with degenerative disc and spinal stenosis in my lower back. I was told my legs were different length! By 2 inches! By the time I left, I had no pain in my jaw, my head wasn’t leaning to one side, my legs were the same length, and I had less pain in my back! I was very surprised and pleased! I did not expect that much to be helped in just one visit! I know I made the correct and best choice coming to the Matz Family Chiropractic!

One month later and I am pretty much pain free just have to be careful. I can't thank her enough for the treatment and will continue to go to her would highly recommend. Negative experience: I have been going to Matz Family Chiropractic for the past 8 years and it used to be an amazing place to go get adjusted. My review doesn't reflect Dr. Mikkelson work because he is an amazing chiropractor; however, the front desk staff is lacking in patient care/ services. First, they have billed my bill to another patient's address which violates HIPAA laws. Second, the past 2 visits I had to wait over 30+ minutes for my scheduled appointment. I can only come on my lunch breaks due to the hours I work. Lastly, it is really disappointing to see a place like this fall apart when it use to be the best in town. I used to speak very highly of this practice to everyone I know and I would recommended it. Not no more. I hope one day Dr. Mikkelson moves his practice somewhere else where his patient's are taken care of. I will no longer bring my business there.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Matz for around 5 months for chiropractic & 3 weeks for Physical Therapy. I have received the best care during my time as a patient at Matz. Hands down the best place for both chiro & PT! Thanks to Dr. Logan & Dr. Rossmiller for helping me through the tough hurdle of a herniated disc. I cant recommend those two enough. I also bring my kiddos to Dr. Libby and she is so patient with them. We always leave matz feeling happy & healthy!

Negative experience: This review is about Dr. Scott Matz Sr., the former CEO of Matz Family Chiropractic, and is not meant to reflect on the other providers in that practice. I went to Matz Family Chiropractic for roughly 20 years (my best guess). At first, Dr. Scott Matz Sr. helped me. But after several years, I experienced him ranting about his right-wing politics WHILE TREATING ME. I put up with his incredibly unprofessional behavior for a while, then switched to another chiropractor. I always felt rushed when I saw Dr. Scott Sr. I agree with the reviewer who commented that this high-volume practice moves people through like cattle. Recently, my regular chiropractor there was unavailable due to illness. The clinic’s schedulers told me over the phone that Dr. Scott Matz Sr. was seeing the unavailable chiropractor’s patients, and suggested that I see him. So I did. At that appointment, Dr. Scott Sr. seemed angry with me from the moment he walked in. I tried to talk to him to find out why, but got no answers. While working on my neck that day, he ranted about people across the country dying due to getting COVID vaccinations. I found it upsetting that he was once again airing his right-wing views during my treatment time. (I have no way of knowing whether or not I am the only patient he talks to like this.) He said hurtful things to me that day and after he left the room, I complained to his assistant. I have since received a letter from Matz Family Chiropractic, telling me that they’re terminating our relationship. I had planned to NEVER again go to Dr. Scott Sr., but to continue with other providers there. Be warned: Dr. Scott Matz Sr. is somewhat skilled at the Blair technique, but his arrogance is mind-boggling and his behavior WHILE TREATING ME was unprofessional. If you dare to be anything but his fawning, adoring follower, watch out. If you dare to actually articulate a complaint about him, then really watch out.
