Nava Health & Vitality Center

Negative experience: I’ve been a loyal customer of Nava for 10 years, but it’s clear they don’t seem to care anymore. Their customer service is slow, unresponsive, and unable to address concerns effectively. On top of that, the company seems completely unclear about the direction they’re going. They changed their pricing with no notice, despite promising unlimited services through the end of the year. Less than two months later, prices increased again, and now they’ve introduced a new membership plan for the new year—seemingly forgetting their prior commitments. It’s frustrating to see this lack of care and transparency after being a customer for so long. I’m seriously questioning whether it’s worth continuing with their services. I hope Nava reevaluates its priorities and starts treating its long-term customers with the respect and consistency they deserve.

Negative experience: In the past 6 months since I’ve joined, it’s been a disappointing experience overall. The acupuncturist and nutritionist are great, but they are no longer covered by insurance. Do not make the mistake of buying annual membership over monthly. I could have saved myself alot of money and frustration by now.

Negative experience: I thought i was done leaving reviews for Nava but once again I've been hit with price adjustments. Prescription went from $90 to $120 and monthly service fees effective Jan 1 will increase. They give you perks but if they are giving perks why increase the monthly membership fee. Now for customer service I called at 10 to order prescription I was told membership fee could applied. I called back at 2:30 only to be told no we don't do that anymore. Get on the same page, please. It's frustrating and annoying.

Negative experience: Don't just don't. Many places do this kind of work-- save your time, money, and energy. This organization can't keep employees-- when the ones there show up for your telehealth appt-- "late" and unprepared-- spend time in your appt while you get to watch them read the file-- they should have read beforehand. Then file your insurance wrong. Then when you try to reach them, spend 3x times before getting a person that can help you try to find a resolution to their errors. I'm not sure what is going on here-- after giving more than 4 chances... sadly minus-stars if I could. This place is a cash grab, employee turn over mill-- its a mess. Sorry not sorry. Take good care of your health-- just not here.

Fantastic experience: Desiree is awesome at blood work. I especially appreciate her telling me to take a deep breath when she pinched in. That really helped with my worry and uncertainty. I am very satisfied with her professionalism.

Fantastic experience: The dip in temperature has left my skin drier than usual. Nurse Ed gave me a Hydrafacial and it made all the difference. He was very thorough with my face, making sure he got out all the impurities and dead skin, leaving my facial skin feeling so refreshed, clean, and hydrated. I swear by this procedure! It evens out my skin tone, leaves it clear, and makes it glow, although it took a few facials and some consistency to achieve the results I wanted. Nurse Ed always makes me feel relaxed as he patiently explained the procedure he was doing, even going beyond my time slot to ensure I got the best treatment! 10/10, no notes, would recommend!

Negative experience: My massage appointments, through December, were CANCELED when there weren’t enough therapists to cover the number of appointments! Poor management! They should’ve foreseen this dilemma. A debacle, for sure!

Positive experience: When I first started coming to Nava, I thought it was great. Recently this place had made me angry and I can’t get any manager to call me back. I’ve left 2 messages but can’t seem to get anyone to return my call. First issue, they refilled the wrong prescription and blamed my pharmacy. Second issue, they don't understand my thyroid lab results so they are sending me to Labcorp for further tests but then never sent my script. Maybe leaving this review will actually result in a returned phone call.

Negative experience: While staff is amazing , professional and helpful, the practice itself is totally unsatisfactory. It is overpriced and only focused on maximum profit while ignoring customer situation. Also, I was not allowed to cancel membership b/c my bill was not 100% satisfied. Was charged $400 + just for 15 min of consultation and reading my blood work at follow up . wow! I didn't want membership anymore was hooked on it b/c of issues with billing. Totally ridiculous and not related items. Will never come back or recommend to anyone of my friends.

Positive experience: I have been going to NAVA for years and they have generally been good. However they have raised their "membership" rates significantly. The most basic membership is $374 and you don't get any benefits other than a $39 credit. I asked specifically what the benefits are and they really couldn't tell me. Basically I am paying an additional $374 for the services I already get since I have to be a member to get the service. It didn't use to be like this. I would rather them just increase the price of the one service I use them for, rather than buying a bogus "membership."

They are all very knowledgeable & have such great personalities. The membership is great and helps you learn and try new health services plus learn about your own health. The doctors are so knowledgeable, especially Dr Calvin, he is like a medical encyclopedia and knows so much. The only complaint I have is with the call center. They need to make updates here with the staff answering calls & make sure they are knowledgeable about services & appointments. I’ve also waited on the phone for a very long time to get through. The portal also needs to be updated with your doctor notes & recommendations. This would really help with keeping the patient on the same page & be able to review. Overall great place to stay on top of your health.

I’ve been going here for about 2 years now and the comprehensive approach to overall wellbeing is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. I work with a functional nutritionist and acupuncturist here the most, but have enjoyed working other services as well.

Besides the Columbia location I do believe Nava as a company needs improvement. The client portal is basically pointless. They need to make an app. Information needs to be more transparent and an invoice should be uploaded after every visit/purchase.

Positive experience: I have been an member since April and I have to say, the staff at the Columbia office has always been phenomenal. I do appreciate all the hard work that goes into greater holistic care thay ee don't get from standard insurance. There were some things revealed in my labs that explained what I have been suffering with for years and I am so thankful, keep being innovative and passionate about optimal health! There are a few points of constructive criticism is that the doctors notes need to be more accurate & posted on the portal more timely after a virtual visit. When a msg is left for a health coach to call u back, it shouldn't take 4 days and being a member, I should be able to order directly on the portal with the discounts applied without having to go through a health coach. All in all, I would highly recommend them, they just need to tighten up a few areas!

I have mostly done infusion therapy and Nava in Columbia has been at the forefront of this for decades, so when I finally started I knew where to go. The nurses that i've had; Kelly, Kali, Beatrice are professional and joyful and calming. Winnie at the front desk makes it almost impossible not to smile! Honestly youre lucky if you get to see her when you walk in and leave. The manager Rob and now Monica lead the team that makes up the heart and soul of this location. In an environment that blends Medical with Regenerative and Executive health, the professionals you deal with are the reason you'll look forward to each visit, regardless the service. Fantastic experience: My experience was extremely positive from the second I walked in the door to the second I left. The medical assistant Zena explained everything from start to finish. I have never felt so welcomed in a doctors office. Caryoln was also very thorough explaining my blood work. Thank you nava for such a positive experience. I will be back! Thank you Nava health for helping me find the root cause of my medical issue I’ve been dealing with for years.

Negative experience: My review pertains specifically to the Columbia location and not Nava Health's overall business concept. Unfortunately my experience there has been extremely inconsistent. They canceled or rescheduled my appointments three times. Two because of staff call outs. The first two times were annoying but manageable. However, the last cancellation happened just before my appointment, and I only found out when I was almost there after a 40-minute commute. This disrupted my workday since I rearranged my schedule for the appointment. When I arrived to reschedule, I expressed my frustration, but the receptionist was indifferent and just stated they wouldn't charge for the last-minute cancellation, which was obvious since they initiated it. When I pointed out their policy on cancellations if I was to cancel within 24 hours, she strangely mentioned my insurance covering acupuncture, which wasn't even relevant. She missed an opportunity to provide good customer service by not acknowledging the inconvenience caused and offering a genuine apology. Despite these issues, I appreciate Nava Health's approach to gathering comprehensive health data for treatment, which has identified issues missed by conventional doctors. They do recommend supplements which is needed to treat the different issues that came up in my blood work, but I didn't feel pressured to get their supplements. I ended up going with another brand because they have a preservative in their supplements that doesn’t do well with me. I intend to try other Nava Health locations because I value their concept and the fact that they accept insurance, which is beneficial for me. However, I suggest caution with putting your card on file because they randomly charge old fees to stored cards. I use my HSA card. I want to highlight a positive experience with one receptionist at the Columbia location who, couldn't answer questions I had on my first appt because she was new. She actually remembered me and the situation the next time I came in and apologized for not having the answers to my questions in our first interaction. Now that's over and beyond customer service.

She is great at helping my husband and I️ make appointments for the same time, figuring out ordering medications, and answers all our questions. Patty (who does acupuncture) and Jennifer ( who does equiscope) are excellent. They are so very informative, skilled, and kind. We look forward to our visits at NAVA. Added: Kelly, the nurse was also great. She did a wonderful job on providing the IV infusion and she was very kind and skilled and informative as well.

Fantastic experience: NAVA is a beautiful facility and very professional. Only thing I would suggest is making they check in and checkout area more hipaa compliant. The staff and Robin the acupuncture nurse is amazing. I haven't had a bad experience with them from I joined and started using they facility in Columbia.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Nava for about 2 years. Originally I was looking for a more holistic view of my health and for answers that weren’t simple “go on medication”. I can say confidently that in working w Nava (specifically Dana) that I’ve fixed my health issues dramatically w diet and lifestyle changes. I’ve also been put on to the many other wellness services they provide like hydrofacials, massage and their IVs. The front desk is always wonderful and accommodating and the experience is lovely. The only Nava con is the phone system but I have learned outside of appointments if I want to make or change an appointment texting their confirmation number is the fastest and easiest way.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Nava for 2 months now and I must say they’ve given me a new lease on life. I had been feeling so fatigued and no energy whatsoever. After consultation and lab work was obtained it should that I was deficient in many key vitamins and minerals. But they started me on the Total Wellness IV nutrition and acupuncture. It has made a world of difference. I feel so energetic and alive again!

Negative experience: I've been a loyal customer of NAVA Health in Columbia for several years, but unfortunately, the quality of service has significantly declined over the past year. Despite being a member, I've experienced repeated issues with double billing for my acupuncture sessions. My insurance was charged, and I was also billed directly (membership credits), which is against proper billing practices. As a provider myself, I know that charging insurance companies and collecting private payments (beyond co-pays) from customers is not acceptable. A few months ago, I faced a similar issue, and despite bringing it to their attention, it has happened again. Recently, I called to resolve the charge at 6:10 PM, and the call center representative informed me that the Columbia office was closed based on information from the front desk staff. When I questioned the posted hours indicating they were open until 7 PM, I was told the office staff had already left. If NAVA Health doesn't address and rectify these double billing practices, I will be left with no choice but to find another provider. Their billing transparency and customer service need urgent improvement.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful massage with Zek today. He made sure I didn’t leave the same way I came in. Apparently, I had several knots in my back and shoulders. He was gentle and very thorough. I plan to book my next massage with him. I also got my blood drawn and the tech was very gentle. I enjoy coming to Nava!
