Positive experience: I have been going here for my care for about half a year now. You can make a next day appointment, which is great! My doctor, Casey Brighton, always addresses my concerns and listens to what I have to say. She is the best PCP I have ever had. All the staff there is really nice and makes me feel comfortable to be myself (I am nonbinary). The only problem I have is that they will always lose your paperwork and have trouble sending your papers for a referral, but it always works out, even if it is annoying.

Fantastic experience: I was able to get an appointment the day after I called with my health concern. There was very little wait time before I was seen, and the doctor’s assistant that checked me in (Judith?) was very friendly and professional. She took the time to chat a little and made me feel at ease. Dr Tekelenburg answered all my questions and got the necessary referral processed right away. A positive experience all around.

Fantastic experience: I have had only positive experiences at Lamprey, with the providers, the front desk, the lab team, and the nurses! They are very nice and you can tell that they care about their patients! I'm so happy I switched doctors, and extremely happy with my daughter's pediatrician! We are able to see the same doctor and that is very convenient and also personable! She is very experienced, friendly and caring! UPDATE: Saw a different doctor this time and had a wonderful experience! She was so caring and experienced and answered all my questions! They have the whole ethical practice thing going on too - they can help folks who lack insurance etc. The secretaries remembered my name after just a few visits. Nothing but professional and humane. Have been instrumental in keeping me well

Positive experience: My appts typically start late, which is not ideal, but I really like Dr. Heidi Crusberg, so I will keep going back. She is super sweet and thorough. She really seems to care about whole care of her patients.

You are all great, but you should consider buying a coat rack. If you feel this is a liability concern, I will say, I can understand that. Thanks again for your aid and support.

I have been through an exceptionally difficult time in my life the past few weeks and she has done everything in her power to help me get through it. I used to see Sue Nichols for many years and when Sue stopped general practice Dr Crusberg was a wonderful replacement for my general needs.

Fantastic experience: We had Lorena as our Physical Therapist for "prehab" pre surgical therapy across the street from our home. Once the surgery was complete, we followed her back to her "home" base in Newmarket. She is excellent at her job, and catered to our specific needs pre and post operative. She is a gem, and we wouldn't want anyone else to help us achieve our mobility goals

Fantastic experience: I had an urgent situation that landed me in the emergency room on Saturday and this office got me to be seen for follow up on Wednesday. I was seen quickly, my concerns were heard and we left no stone unturned. I also go to schedule lab work and a physical upon my check out. Everyone was pleasant and very helpful. Most importantly I honestly felt heard.

She was very attentive to my concerns and questions, thoughtful about a treatment plan, and explained her medical thinking quite well. As usual, the staff were kind and efficient. Thanks Lamprey. I'm a patient since the 1980's when you were in a large house on the other side of Newmarket!

Fantastic experience: I'm new to the area, looked up providers that take my insurance. Very happy to say I found a great new Doctor, Dr Bergeron. She took her time, asked questions about my lifestyle etc and made suggestions for care that make sense for me.

Negative experience: I saw Cora Donahue here for quite a few years. Basic issues or physicals it was fine, but any issue I needed further help with her answer was to just throw medications at me. I’m a young adult, there’s no reason for me to be on that many medications. I expect my dr to look at the root of the issue, not just prescribe cause that’s when they get paid more. I was diagnosed with High BP she messed up my medication and ordered me the wrong labs. I finally changed Practices, I was diagnosed with a more serious issue that she should have caught…I now go to Core Physicians and I feel more cared for in my short time there, than I ever felt with Lamprey and I will never recommend them to anyone

Positive experience: My first appointment has gone smoothly. Krista at the front desk is lovely and efficient. Megan the...nurse? Don't know. She didn't introduce herself. I had to ask her name. She was all business and seemed distracted, but nice enough. Sarah Wood the NP was very nice, not pushy, listened. I look forward to more conversation when I return for my actual physical. Overall a better experience than I expected having not seen a doctor in MANY years.

My new Primary is Sarah Wood, and she is really excellent. I strongly recommend to anyone looking for a new primary.

Fantastic experience: I was in the process of having a colonoscopy at exeter hospital when they discovered I had afib and stopped everything...the told me to immediately go see my primary care doctor...lampray got me in that afternoon and took care of me with care and concern and directed me in the right diection...I left feeling that I would be okay.

I've been going to lamprey health care in newmarket for over 15 years and she is by far the best doctor I've seen. She was so kind, helpful, and made my appointment a great experience. The office staff were welcoming, friendly and kind. I will continue to be a life long patient at lamprey health care and it's all because of the staff.

Fantastic experience: Called in morning looking for an appointment that day, and had a fairly small window of time because of work. They got me in during that time, and gave me a prescription that I was able to pick up on my way home. Perfect! The doctor and PA she was training were awesome! Worked out well and I’m thankful that they squeezed me in.
